Worst place. I brought a pair of shoes and they packed me 2 different size. When I went back to change it, it was not a nice experience. The manager was rude and ask me to take a different shoe as the don’t have the size for my shoe I purchased. But when I told I want refund, they made me wait 20 mins. The same time one another customer came with similar issue. Seems like they don’t have different sizes for the shoes they display.

Waited more than 30 minutes, spoke to 3 different employees to be brought a shoe in the wrong size than I’d asked for. The store is run by teenagers who stand around talking to their friends instead of working. No management whatsoever. Absolute shambles!

Music is always very loud, staf is not properly trained and not friendly at all, employees were having arguments with supervisor just beside me and other clients. My last time there (21/07/2022) the sales girl was so rude that I stayed just because I wanted to use a gift voucher and don't have to step in there anymore. It's a pity once the store is very central and full of nice stuff.

Waited over half an hour for a pair of shoes to be told they actually didn’t have correct size. Appreciate that it is busy but should have been known immediately that size was out of stock. Better system required in such a busy shop

I had a very poor experience here. Came back to return a couple snickers and the staff were incapable of doing the refund. The cashier spent literally 10 minutes just passing my card through the cash register. I wasn't mean in the slightest, but she was borderline rude and not even looking at me. She offered me a voucher instead, but at this point I lost any interest in buying from JD again, so I asked her again to just please give me my money. After clear hesitation she calls the manager, who doesn't know how to do a refund either. Had to leave and try again next day! Super unprofessional, avoid!!!!!

Waited for more than an hour to get my daughter Puma shoes. First waited more than 30 minutes to get the shoes, second the JD employee make a mistake with the size (waited more than 30 minutes). Only then I get to pay for the shoes.

the organization is totally pitiful. The clerks in the women's shoes area are quite unpleasant and tell you that they don't have the size without having scanned the shoe. I have asked for a size and I have been waiting for 40 minutes and in the end they told me that they did not have it. totally disappointing.

Disgraceful management! I got a shoe on one of the racks, asked a (very helpful) guy, member of staff to please bring me the pair as I would like to keep them. 2 seconds later, "Manager" (a blond young lady with no manners whatsoever) came from across the room and without even looking at me, snatched the shoe off my hand just saying it couldn't be sold at the store and walked off?! I went after her to check what happened and she very poorly and rudely tried to say they couldn't sell it as they didn't have a bar code for it (remember she took it without even checking it first). I remember very clearly seeing both the price tag AND the bar code inside the shoe, even though she tried to convince me otherwise – in a very unpleasant manner, I must emphasise. I asked her what I could do then, if I could purchase them through the website in that case and she replied with a "I don't know", probably just not to directly say "I don't care", I guess. She went on with excuses while I asked her why would it be exposed for sale then, and why she would not check it in advance. Maybe she was telling the truth, but it did straightaway feel like made up excuses just to keep the shoes for some reason. In any case, snatching something off a customer's hand will never be the right way of dealing with whatever issue there is. Not even if the shoes were €10 this attitude and absolute lack of customer service would be acceptable. Will definitely avoid the store from now on and I honestly hope JD take into account all complaints from me and other customers who shared their experience here. I used to experience great service at this same shop and it's a pity it just went this bad.

Staff are horrible, two girls about 20/22 were on the floor as I was looking at shoes. First of all I wanted to know the price of a shoe and there was no one to be found to ask, when I did eventually find someone 10 mins later she rolled her eyes at me basically and I asked if they had them in a 5.5 and she said no without scanning the shoes or checking. I asked for a 5 in the shoes and she said she’d bring them out but muttered under her breath and didn’t bother, 20 mins later I asked someone else as there was no sign of the shoe, she took another 20 minutes so I ended up leaving. Staff are so rude and I am about their age I was in no way rude, just typical rude dublin people. Wouldn’t go back, girls aren’t nice and either were staff at till. Shoes were €125 so they lost out on that

Went here looking around for a few things and happened to pick up a pair of Nike socks and the rail in which they were put on fell off, a male worker then proceeded to walk past me and loudly say good job. Not happy, I don’t care what he thought of me and the rail falling you shouldn’t criticise someone who is willing to spend money in the store you work at. Ruined my day.

Staff appear to be very poorly trained, most are extremely young and want to spend their time talking to each other rather than dealing with customers. My particular staff member did not know the procedure for processing online order refunds.

Good store but sometimes trending shoes goes out of stock easily so I will recommend you to visit shop in the morning to get all sizes.

Nice store, wide range of shoes from brands like new balance, Mizuno and Nike. Not many mirrors to see what you look like with shoes on and the lighting is pretty dark.

Great selection of shoes and this is a very organised store. The store layout is excellent. All the merchandise is clearly marked out with prices and information. The store is exceptional in that it's clean and tidy. You know that the store is well run and the staff are on the ball

First time is this store. I spotted there was a sale on. It wasn’t very busy and I found finding what I needed difficult by myself. Great selection if you like Nike. I was after an Adidas related brand which was a little harder to find. In the end one of the shop assistants helped me find a great deal on the exact type shoe I was looking for, and at an excellent price.

It is a popular shop so is always busy. Good choice of clothes and shoes. Has a range of price which will sort most.

i went into the shop to get men’s shoes and i was really stuck on what to get as they were a gift for someone and one of the employees, Sophie, helped me so much she came over and asked how she could help and she helped me pick some out and got the right size for me. she has very nice manners if all the staff were like sophie you would be doing very very well.

Rude staff, they feel. Like they own the shop, clearly not worth the time. Better well off buy directly through brands. Such a horrible place to enter esp the one in Jervis #JDSucks wish there was a negative star to give

Young staff too busy chatting to each other and having a laugh and no interest in helping customers. Even got the big annoyed sigh when I asked where something was only to be told "All our stock gets moved around so I don't know where it is" Would not recommend.

Great shop staff sound the only thing it's app doesn't work JD's app. Doesn't work right But we all know everything is cheaper online Just use the internet if we don't mind waiting for it to be delivered We can save €20-€50 by shop around online

Worst shop! Waited and waited for staff to get our shoes(2 pairs we wanted to try). She came back after 20 minutes with one shoe and no explanation. When we asked her where the other shoes were, she didn’t seem to be able to give an answer. This was the second time we tried to buy a pair of shoes in this shop and failed. Really really unfriendly and unprofessional staff!

I recently went their for picking up some gym clothes but when I reached it was a total shopping district!! All known brand and new trendy Brands! It's a complete lifestyle fashion shop. I picked my day to day clothing, runners and gym clothes. Perfect place to pick out the next look I want!!

  • 3/5 Siobhan H. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of products lovely staff but it's very messy when buying runners you have to deal with a lot of people for one pair especially if they don't have the size. Could be managed better

  • 2/5 Sinead B. 2 years ago on Google
I like JD in general, the clothes & runners & the bargains when they have them are fantastic, my only criticism is, when you have to wait, Omg you are waiting ages & ages, & I mean when your waiting either for yourself or your children's shoe's to be brought down to try them on it takes Forever, even when there not busy it's just ridiculous, and this has happened to me Loads of times in JD Jervis Shopping Centre, maybe to anyone else it might not be a big deal, but as a Mum with loads to do on a daily basis to me it is, that's my only criticism, so JD hurry up a little plz 😊

  • 1/5 Antoinette M. 2 years ago on Google
My recent in store experience, where my son could not try on a pair of €100 runners without calling over a manager and making a fuss, was unreal. Clearly there are security issues, but seriously staff up and put in systems to manage this risk, rather than treating every customer as if they are going to steal! If this is the future of in store shopping I am not buying it.What can I say, guessing I am not the age group they are trying to attract into shop, but they are happy that its me funding my teenagers shopping here. My advice... spend your money elsewhere.

Absolute zoo. Staff are clueless. No social skills, don't acknowledge customers at all. When you ask for help, its nearly like you're putting them out. Shocking service

  • 1/5 Miriam P. V. 2 years ago on Google
Terrible customer service, you ask something and they ignore you. I asked to the girl in the Junior section and she didn't care, she never brought or even request my pair of trainers, she left me there waiting and then suddenly she said we don't have it, when she didn't even check.

Young inexperienced staff trying their best to cope under the circumstances. Huge shop, very little staff on floor, customers trying to get served everywhere, big queue 4 checkout, busy Saturday and massive problem with staff not checking both shoes in box same size! Lad on counter tells me goes on all day everyday. Simple solution simple problem. Look after your staff, they will look after you. Huge range of shoes, standard prices. 😇🤫
