I purchased a new bra advertised as 'comfortable', same size as other bras I bought in M&S in the past, but this one obviously had a different chest size and after wearing it for 2 hours it started to mark my skin and left red signs all around my chest, it was all but comfortable. I went back to the shop in Grafton to return it with my receipt and they refused to refund me as they said it was not saleable anymore. I literally used it for 1 hour or two and I couldn't know it could be so uncomfortable without wearing it. Shame on you for having a return policy that doesn't refund customers for faulty items. The size is obviously different from other bras of your own brand with the same size that I used for years. No wonder people are buying on Amazon: they have comfortable bras, cheaper and better return policy. You lost a customer and were lacking flexibility and understanding in front of a valid complaint.

The M&S Cafe is on the top floor of the building, so you need to enter the M&S Store to access the elevator. Once you're at the M&S Cafe you can order hot food; table service is available. Don't buy bottle water! There is a pitcher of ice water behind the cashiers. The Irish Breakfast was delicious. If you want some fresh air then sit out on the terrace.

I actually have to completely agree with the previous review and funnily enough I am here to voice a complaint about the rude staff in the Lingerie Department. I REALLY HOPE MANAGEMENT READ THIS. I was witness to an interaction with a girl returning items and the girl behind the counter was SO RUDE. Scoffing and snarling. If she had to spoken to me like that I can assure you I would have called the Store Manager to the scene immediately, a scene that your staff member created. I understand post covid things are strange and a little weird. But you know what... basic customer service should not be strange or weird or RUDE! THE LINGERIE DEPARTMENT STAFF need an immediate re-training day and re-learn how to re-strain themselves from being rude! I hope I am being clear enough! Sorry for all the caps but I am disgusted! Otherwise yes everyone is going to continue to shop online at Amazon or just shop at Brown Thomas. Holt Renfrew clearly have continued their high standard of Canadian shopping experience to Ireland.

Today I got really upset and disappointed in my experience buying from them. I bought some of the stuff on sale but no one notified me that stuff with yellow tag are non refundable and no exchange. After I just paid for, I realised I bought almost same thing twice with different sizes. So I went back to return and then they notified me no exchange or refund on stuff with yellow tag as they are on sale, Till will not scan them back for any of these. I advised I didn’t know that, and asked can I just swap it with same exact thing but right size, again they refused mentioning different codes and so. So I asked can I just swap it without any exchange, the girl on the Till replied back in sarcastic way “ security will catch you”! Not sure why she even spoke that way even though I was asking if I can do so. Very disappointed not only because I couldn’t exchange what I got but more because of the attitude.

Came to roof top restaurant, foor top was closed couldn't sit outside. Served by a gentleman didn't catch his name begins with a K . He was very cheerful happy and helpful. We both had a bacon roll which was the tastest not skimping on the bacon either.

When I saw jacket potatoes and beans on the menu, I was ecstatic! A childhood favourite of mine ❤ but how I was horrified when it arrived! It looked as if someone had trampled on a rat and then regurgitated back up again. My eyes ached as the beans stared back up at me. It didn't even come with ham or cheese 😕 A disgrace if you ask me !

Terrace Cafe upstairs. Toilets broken, half the menu not available, rude staff at desk. Terrible lunch for two at 27€. The USC tax represents better value for money. Only saving grace are the wonderful girls doing the waitressing. 1/5 would not do again.

Staff are incredibly rude in this store. Door was closed 20 before closing time. When I asked if I could go to the food hall to grab one item I was told to 'get away' and go elsewhere in an extremely rude manner. This is not the service I expect from Marks and Spencer. Staff do not have basic manners or curtesy. I shop in M&S most days, I think I will be shopping in Dunnes Stores from now on.

Was in store in Grafton St Dublin today, and want to say a big thank you to MnS staff, Ayesha in ladies underwear section. So patient in helping me find the perfect bra. She showed wonderful customer service. Rosita,

Some of the clothes are overpriced for what they are. Maybe for the more settled older woman. But I got nice cool cream double cotton trousers at a good price on browsing, and slipon open green sandals for €13 ! Their nightwear is lovely. The best I can find in Dublin city. Definitely worth a visit.

Went to return a couple dresses that didn’t work for me and had a bad experience with the blonde woman on the upper floor checkout. She gave me a hard time because the dresses were a little wrinkly from being in the shopping bag for a week. She was rude and didn’t make me want to shop there again. Left me feeling bad the rest of my outing on Grafton street.

Disappointed with the service and return policy. No option to fit clothes in store and then only given a short return period. Now I’m sitting with a shirt that does not fit.

Trish, the cashier, at the women’s department treated me badly today and cursing me with rude words, just because she has torn my tax return envelope and I asked for a new one… I hope the management could provide a contact for me to followup on this feedback. I couldn’t believe this happened in M&S a worldwide brand in heart of Dublin City center. I feel being insulted and humiliated.

The person at the till was incredibly rude. Did not made eye contact, ignored us for a solid 2 minutes while he was fighting with his female colleague. Female colleagues were not better though. I asked one for butter and she did not even reply to me. She just brought the butter and did not made eye contact, at first I thought she actually just ignored my question and left. They were all so short with all customers not only me. 27 euros, two sandwich, two scones and you're treated like you truly annoy them. They were all angry. Scones were good, the rest was barely edible.

Great cafe to rest and watch the public stroll past, especially on a sunny day!

Way too overpriced !!!!! The quality of your clothes don’t match the price ticket. 105€ for ankle boots ? Never in my life, M&S is not a luxury brand like Louis Vuitton or Gucci.

The rooftop cafe should be a nice place to stop for a coffee. Unfortunately it isn’t. It is understaffed and filthy. Before Xmas I stopped in - there was no one clearing tables or cleaning. The floors were covered in crumbs. I stopped in today. It was better staffed. One person was clearing tables. I watched them clear8 tables. They never wield a single table. More people sat down at dirty tables. I watched one assistant help an elderly man to a table with a tray, and she set down the tray for him on a dirty table. I expect better standards from M &S

I visited Grafton St M&S store 19th December. The place was very dirty. The big staircase was filthy. The toilets were filthy. The hot air hand dryers were dirty inside the area where hands go to be dried. 5he wall above them was very dirty. I was very surprised to find this.

Considering the flow of customers who go through it every day, it's incredible how lovely, kind and helpful the staff is. It's a nice store, as most M&S are. I wish for two things : 1. Why did they place the tills on the first floor by an open storage door? The sales persons are freezing! It's pretty unkind, considering the difficult job they do. 2. I often go for gluten-free groceries there, which are delicious- but the stock is perpetually depleted. It's pretty frustrating.

I visited the shop and not the cafe. Shop is one of their better stocked ones. I usually find what I'm looking for here

Absolute rip off. 4 euro for a medium (small) coffee. Slice of cake 4.50. No atmosphere, feels like a school canteen. Lift was broken, ladies toilet out of order, rubbish under the table from previous customers too. Awful.

The coffee is fine. It's a small space and only a few tables - mostly high stools around the window with a shelf to put your drink on.

My go-to café on Grafton Street, cheap and with a great terrace where you can watch the world go by below and hear the buskers

  • 4/5 James C. 4 years ago on Google
A very busy and packed in department store with most anything you could expect to find. Some areas of the store could use some organizing and reworking but not anything absolutely required.

I had a cappuccino at the top floor cafe. Unfortunately the outside terrace was closed to the public. Coffee is just ok, a bit weak for my liking. Pay at the till first then order at the back. Very noisy on a Saturday afternoon, but that's expected.

If your looking for a great cup of coffee on Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland I highly recommend the M&S Cafe. Upon entering I was made feel very welcome by the staff. Talked with a Gentleman that runs the Cafe originally from Portugal. You could tell he takes a lot of pride in his job, establishment and taking care of his customers. I ended up having an amazing cappuccino and a slice of carrot cake. The Cappuccino was absolutely amazing and the carrot cake was so fresh and was delicious. This establishment is very clean and has clean restrooms. It is located on the very top of Marks&Spencer. You can utilize the elevator to get to this amazing cafe. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland. I have traveled all over the world with the US Marines and the United States. I definitely know a great Cafe from all my travels. With out saying any more I definitely recommend M&S Cafe located within Marks&Spencer on Grafton Street. This establishment rates ten stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and more ! I definitely will return to M&S Cafe upon my next visit to Ireland. A must visit if you are on Grafton Street, Dublin, Ireland!

I go to this place regularly for coffee because of the very pleasant roof terrace. Yesterday afternoon I met a friend there. At the entrance there was a fairly thorough Covid safety protocol regarding contact tracing, distancing while queueing etc, but once inside there was practically no distancing; the inside space was very full but yet the terrace was closed. When we queried this we were told it was because it 'might rain' (it didn't look like it, and it didn't rain). We finished our coffees quickly and got the hell out, feeling quite uncomfortable in such a crowded space. What is the point of this? The open air terrace would have been much safer but was closed - after all the fuss was made when entering. That said, it is a nice, clean cafe, staff is pleasant and polite, and the food is quite good.

...great spot to escape the busy streets below, serious location... the older layout worked a lot better but must have been more staff intensive, not totally convinced about the new setup and grub, a bit like a college cafeteria...
