This used to be one of my Top 3 Places in Dublin, but since the latest renovation, it's far from being what it used to be, at least for brunch. 2/5 value for money -- food is of great quality, but 22 euros for a burger that comes with no chips? Or a small-ish portion of hake ("special of the day") without any sides? 4/5 service -- quick, pleasant, professional, and made only one small mistake (charged coffee twice) which was promptly corrected 4/5 vibe -- nice design, but sound system sub-par (i.e. audio quality) 1/5 drinks -- I get it, they have a nice bar, but how can they do brunch without having anything beyond drip coffee? Meaning, no espresso, no flat white, no cappuccino etc. Bottom line: I will come again to give them a chance, and I hope they will take feedback to heart. I was told that other than the owner, everything else has changed: managers, staff, kitchen. I don't know why (: let's see if they can improve!

This rating really is more of a 3.8. The service was super friendly, and super quick and the food definitely hit the spot. The seating was a bit cramped, I felt like I was in a Ryanair seat. I felt the cocktails were well made but a tiny bit overpriced for the ambiance (i.e. they shouldn't go over €10 unless it's something truly special). Overall, as far as brunch goes in Dublin this is one of the better spots... they're not as cookie cutter as some of the other places in town.

This place is fantastic. My daughter and I ate here for the first time. They were really busy and we were walk-ins but they found us a seat. Mu daughter had chicken and waffles and I had a chicken burger and chilli fries. The food is unreal. The staff are really friendly and we will definitely be back for more

Its 7am in the morning and my mouth is watering thinking about the chicken and waffles that i had Saturday at Dillinger's, The Chicken was lovely and crispy with the waffle's super soft with lovely syrup drizzled across it. OMG!!! i was up for the Munster match so was my first time here. 10 out of 10 for me, also had a kinky boots cocktail was beautiful

What a place for food and cocktails! Ate here on Friday night and it was fantastic from start to finish! When we arrived we were recommend a really nice cocktail that got us off to a kick! The service was really on point and everyone that came near our table seemed really nice! The food was deadly too! Scallops and prawns to start with Rosotto and Steak as mains topped off with a Créme Brúlée to finish it all off!! I hear its really good for brunch too so will have to be back very soon!!

Went for Sunday brunch. We ordered 2 bloody Mary's. When they arrived they told us that they were the last 2.. when we asked why the told us they had run out. This was at 230pm.. apparently they make a batch and when that's done it's done.. disappointed . Food was average. Steak Medium rare and eggs ordered. Steak was medium well. Again dissatisfied.

Excellent brunch spot, solid menu well trained staff and relaxing atmosphere. Went recently with the family and was pleasantly surprised. Traditionally known as a hip spot for the kids to brunch was worried we would be out of place but the staff were welcoming and friendly. The burger is the recommendation, while the po’ boy is tasty it lacks impact. Pancakes are dependable, but the real star of the show is the staff. Wont make it a regular thing but will definitely be back !

Excellent dinner here recently. The smaller starter dishes were probably the highlight for us. Oysters were excellent. Tuna tostadas were delicious. Great cocktails as well, and friendly service.

Lovely brunch spot! They were opened on the bank holiday Monday which was great. Good vegetarian brunch options and lovely cocktails. Staff really friendly and funny, in an non intrusive way, they just make it a good vibes spot. Will be back for sure!

The new fit out is stunning. The food was incredible, carefully curated and executed with surgeon precision. Flavours out the door. Oyster with bacon vinaigrette is mind blowing. The veal sweetbreads are nothing short of pure XXX indulgence. Drinks also fantastic. Team members on point, very welcoming. Bravo x

Upscale diner with amazing cocktails and a variety of food options ranging from from South American to Italian dishes. Great little spot that shouldn’t be passed up!!

Big change to the menu with the restaurant refit. Cocktails still excellent and the food is far more ambitious and generally works well. Work off the tasty Italian options and the Hamachi crudo is very good.

Can't really say anything bad about this place: the chef himself came talking to me to build a last minute vegan option. The result was delicious, probably the best vegan meal I've ever had in a restaurant! Also the other options on the menu have been really appreciated by all my friends. The service super kind and helpful, they really care about offering you a very nice experience in a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely come back, next time also to try some of the cocktails that looked amazing!

Delicious - I have always loved Dillinger’s and was a little sad to see the menu change but the food was absolutely great and the atmosphere is still there. The cocktails were excellent and Jessie the bartender looked after us exceptionally well, even creating some unique drinks for us. The only downside was having to leave when they were closing 😁

I really liked this place! Good menu, and the food was excellently prepared. We ordered bottle of wine so I will def have to come back for the cocktails. The staff was very friendly (shoutout to Stephen for a great first week!) and the vibes were cool and lively. Prices were fair, I thought.

I came here for an early Sunday brunch with a large group of friends and a few kids. We reserved ahead and our table was ready when we arrived. The place is nice and kid friendly, however the service was bad and the food nothing to brag about. When we arrived we started with ordering coffee and we were surprised by the lack of coffee options (only black coffee is available) and the time needed to get a couple of carafes of coffee! Also the mugs provided are thick and make coffee cold. I had the crab cakes Benedict and there was so much filler that I could not feel the flavor of crab and the poached eggs had semi-hard not runny yolks.

We always enjoyed original Dillinger's but the new super Dillinger's is a next-level experience. We've been several times since the upgrade. Initially the menu was a bit complicated and ordering effortful but they've streamlined that now--it's nice to see that they're still making positive developments. Every item we've had has been amazing. Even my pour in a slightly chilled glass felt special. Service is very attentive and pleasant. No, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. About 120 euro total for the two of us: a starter, 2 mains, and an extra side of awesome veg (the leeks). About 40 euro of the total was 5 drinks. We left full and on cloud nine, feeling pampered. I slept well :) We'll treat ourselves again when the budget permits!

I've visited Dublin with my partner, and we loved this place so much that we kept coming back although our trip was only 3 days long. I can't help but rave about the delicious tuna wrap I had and the fantastic pancakes I enjoyed the next day. Dinner was no let down either, with a delicious burger. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made it hard for us to resist returning. I highly recommend this place.

The food here is so nice! Find it very strange that they don’t make coffee in house & don’t have a coffee machine? But we didn’t mind as there are so many coffee places around food was 10/10

Buzzy spot with top notch cocktails. Their Bloody Mary is next level. Can be tricky to get atmosphere, cocktails as well as good grub but Dillinger’s has all 3. Looking forward to getting back indoors for the real experience

So far the best Negroni I have had in Dublin. For the food, every dish we got was just perfectly tasty and enjoyable - had the buratta, hedgehog mushroom ( must must try!!) , anchovies, sourdough, burger, linguini and panna cotta for dessert. This space has a great energy , staff was really friendly and overall had a good time.. would definitely go back!

Staff are super lovely but the food was bland, although cooked well. Would be nice to get a better coffee brand, was surprised at who they're using....

Dillinger's in Ranelagh gets 5 stars from me - it's a great place for casual American style food with a twist, The atmosphere is always buzzy, with good music playing and a variety of cocktails and beer that compliment their menu. Most importantly the staff are brilliant - Emmet and his team know how to provide the best service and look after everyone who walks through the door. The menu is changed fairly regularly and while you might miss something that was on a previous menu there is always a good option to replace it.

Smashed avocados with smoked salmon was nice, but it would do much much better with english muffin instead of sourdough, which was very dry, overtoasted and hard. My friends enjoyed their pulled pork poached egg special brunch dish. Thank you

Nice spot for a bit of brunch at the weekend. Interesting menu from breakfast items crossing over to lunch so ideal for a late brunch. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Lovely place for brunch in Ranelagh. We were lucky to get a table walking in on Sunday afternoon, so I'd recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment! Nice mix of sweet and savory dishes on the menu with decent portion sizes. The smashed avocado was quite sour along with the hollandaise, but still pretty tasty - a side of smoked salmon would be a great add-on. The chicken and waffles is great if you're craving the sweet/salty combo - but a bit too crispy for my liking. Would love to return to try something new (the table beside us for the shakshuka which smelled amazing!).

It was mixed feelings. I went on Friday at5.30pm. Nachos at €9 for a starter were great. And burger or main course was really nice at €17 Glass of 250ml wine was €11 which was pricey and cocktails were €12 which again was very pricey. Service was excellent. I would go back but not to have any drinks. That sums it up.
