The best burgers I ever ate. Amazing fresh meat, perfect burger structure. Sweet potato chips are very tasty. Prices are nice. I always was wondering why BUNSEN is in the top on every burger restaurant list. Now i know. They are really HIGHLY RECOMMEMDED. We were also in Bunsen close to Grafton St and both locals are perfect

I have previously ranked Dash Burger on Capel Street as my favorite burger in Dublin, but there’s a new number 1! Had the double cheeseburger with no fries cooked medium. The meat was of high quality and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were of high quality and they were not afraid of adding much sauce to the buns. Overall this is one of the most delicious burgers that I have had in a long time! This will become my go to spot for burgers. Also very refreshing with a limited menu! 5/5 fantastic experience

There was some consternation at the long wait considering the small (figuratively AND literally) menu—until we got the food. It was obvious that everything was made fresh so the wait ended up being totally worth it. The views weren’t bad and the atmosphere was also excellent. The staff was responsive and, once the food arrived, weren’t to be seen again. This, of course, is either or good or bad depending on your preference. The toilets were regretfully small so going during a very busy time might be a logistical challenge. That said, the restaurant can’t really help it considering how old the building is. Overall, they make a great burger. Would definitely do it again.

Better than expected. A very simple straight forward menu on a business card (see pic) at the table. Went cheeseburger and shoestring. Was excellent. Ask for medium but it generally comes out a tad medium rare. Very nice quick and patient staff.

Amazing place, very tasty meat and burger, very much resembling the ones from In-N-Out in America. The location and the prices are superb. If you're a fan of burgers you must definitely give this a try.

This is the best burger in Dublin for sure! I think the best places of burgers are the ones that offer a short menu, because they know that is more than enough a good bread and a good beef. Is very crowded because everyone knows this is the best place, but still, you won’t wait for more than 15 min. Is very cheap! And the chips are amazing! Dear owner: if you are reading this, I think it would be a great idea if you offer a mix of the three types of fries! All of them are amazing!

Really enjoy the burgers here, they're very juicy. However, the staff is quite warm to others but rather distant with us. The seating area is also quite narrow. The staff frequently bumps into my chair while coming in and out.

Nice restaurant good food quick service 👌. Wanted to give 5 star but I am vegetarian and they in June 2023 do not have any vegetarian patty. I got bun with cheese and salad in it as they do not have any vegetarian patty. I used fries as a patty and put them between the buns. Staff was extremely nice and friendly 👌. Liked the restaurant but please introduce atleast 1 vegetarian burger 🍔 😀 please

Oh my god! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked top quality beef, all the ingredients inside the burger put in perfect harmony and the chips were crisp and seasoned to perfection! Bunsen on top 10/10!!

I came with few of my colleagues and we ordered the cheeseburgers with fries and sweet potato fries as well. To be able to request how the patty to be done is quite nice as most of the burger places have their own standard and the portion of the fries was big. Overall was a good lunch.

This burger bar is located close to the Temple bar and although it is a touristy place, the burgers are actually very good. The selection is tiny as you can see from the menu that is printed on the business card. Although I ordered my double cheeseburger medium and it came well done, the burger still was great, juicy. I would go there again, but next time I would order extra cheese, because I think a cheeseburger needs more cheese than they offered.

You will NOT be disappointed! Believe me when I say I'm a connoisseur of burgers and good meat and this place hit it 10/10. It had all the flavor, sticky, softness of five guys with 2 big chunky, melt in your mouth tasty patties. I had the shoestring fries and they were awesome, really tasty, thin and lots of them. Service was really good and the ghost pilsner they had was a full bodied beer. Highly recommend to get a quick bite in Dublin.

The very best burger you can put in your mouth in Dublin (and in many other cities too). We were a couple in a Sunday night. We were received by a kind waitress and proceeded to order our food. The menu is quite simple, either you take a hamburger or a cheeseburger (you can make it double with another patty). The burger comes with several predefined toppings that you can remove at will. They have gluten-free bread, something very important for those with wheat and gluten allergies, and they only charge .5€ extra for the GF bread (other places charge crazy amounts for this). I took the double cheeseburger, and, overall, the burger was very testy and cheesy. The fries can be ordered separately and were very crunchy. 9.5 place over here folks. Do not heasitate to try this burgers.

The burger was the BEST burger I’ve ever had! Simple but absolutely perfect. The meat was very tender and tasty, quality ingredients. The sweet potato fries are the perfect side and the milkshakes complete the meal. The service was great and we loved the music. Will definitely be back when we will return to Dublin

Great burgers that are reasonably priced given the location. If the beef patties had a little more spice or even salt, pepper they'd be perfect. Their simple nofrills menu makes it easy to order. Sweet potato fries were a bit hard/raw in the middle, but hand cut fries were great. Their Bunsen Pale Ale was fantastic. I had made a reservation, but we saw people walking in without issues on a Sunday night.

Best burger place in Dublin🙌🏼The cheeseburger was so tasty. Kindly service and so simple not fancy burgers just the classic ones which is great. I loved it. I will recommend it to my friends also. The purity is 10/10

When the menu fits on a business card, you know you’re about to have some good burgers. Definitely in the top 5 burgers I’ve eaten on this planet. Went for the classic double cheese burger and was not disappointed at all! Patties perfectly cooked, and full of flavour, cheese delicious and the bun absolutely bang on. The fries, probably the best hand cut style fries I’ve had, crispy and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, I want to know what they seasoned them with because they were amazing! Really cool burger joint on temple row, really cool interior and atmosphere and really friendly and polite staff! If you’re by the river in Dublin, make sure you hit this place up!

Amazing burgers and chips at a decent price. I got the cheeseburger and shoestring fries and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Unlike similar burger chains, the staff asked how I wanted my burger cooked (rare, medium, well done etc) and it was cooked exactly to my preference. I initially also asked for the normal chips, but the waitress said they were not at their best that day - I appreciated the openness rather than just giving me subpar chips. I came here on a weekend - it was a busy restaurant but we were able to be slotted in and it got quieter as the night went on. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

I have tried my fair share of hamburgers everywhere, but Bunsen is top 1 without a doubt. Extremely juicy, the perfect amount of sauce, melted cheese and some minced onions, perfectly balanced. If you haven't tried it, its a must.

So I was only given 2 choices of how to have my burger, medium rare or medium well. I chose medium well and got food poisoning. Tasted good but not worth the food poisoning I got. Limited menu not for vegans or vegetarians.

Lovely burgers, you can choose from single or double and with or without cheese, and then which toppings. Not many options but you don't need anything else, classic burger, juicy and super tasty. Fries were also delicious, and portion were super big, I couldn't finish them. Staff was also nice and they were super fast despite being busy

The burgers here are amazingly good! I got the double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup and it was just perfect! You can add more like onions and other sauces like mayo or mustard. My salted caramel milkshake was also very good! Would 100% come back here again!

One of the best burgers I’ve had in Dublin! The location is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is just amazing. You can choose how much you want the meat cooked for your burger, with any of the toppings listed and a side of fries. I ordered a cheeseburger with hand cut fries and a beer. Simple but absolutely delicious. 🍔🤩👍🏻

Just needed a cheeseburger and headed towards Temple Bar to see what I could find. Stopped here because it looked interesting. Small menu. Basically just burgers, fries & shakes. My burger was cool perfectly for me. Toppings were delicious. Shoestring fries also great! Very pleased & would eat here again.

I’ve came here for years, I always have loved this place but today I felt that it wasn’t this place anymore. We asked for a table for 4 people, they had 2 tables available at the time and we asked the one close to the window since our friends they came to visit us and was their first night in town. One of the waiters said yes and he actually cleaned the table for us. When the other waitress came she said that that table was for 5 people but 2 minutes after only two people sat in there. They treat us in a awful way after that when we asked why they told us that it was for 5 people and then only two people used that table. It could sound like and stupid thing but I have always been treated here in a super nice way, it was one of my favorite places but not anymore the way they talked to us

Best burgers in Dublin. And I've tried as many as I could, don't get tired of these. Way better when enjoyed on site, take away makes them not taste as good as just made.

Excellent food! I never get asked how I want my burger cooked anywhere else, and it was just as ordered, not a gimmick.Great staff too. Good craft beer brewed exclusively for Bunsen.

Very good burgers, simple ingredients, short menu, affordable. Can't go wrong. Be mindful that the Irish like their meat very cooked so you might need to ask for the least cooked they do
