I would do the Do Dublin tour again and again. They are a professional and FUN company. We felt truly welcomed, but the level of interaction and history was phenomenal. Our tour guide was Mr. Lawless, who put his own personal spirit on the tour, by using song. (I intended to write "personal spin", but I think spirit also encapsulates what I was trying to say!) It was fantastic. It helped things to stick in our minds and I very much appreciated being introduced to the beautiful, yet sobering song of "Grace", written about Grace Gifford. I cannot say enough praiseworthy things about this tour and the company, but if you have 24 hours in Dublin, take the opportunity to join one of the tours! You also receive free entry to the Little Museum of Dublin, so your experience doesn't end when you get off the bus.

This hop on hop off tour was one of the best that I have been on. They all give you a high level look at the city and of course you can get on and off at your leisure but what separated this from the others was the DRIVER! Mary was a complete surprise and delight. We didn’t listen to the prerecorded script that you get when your on these tours but instead she narrated the complete tour on her own. She covered all the highlights and added in some personal antidotes and jokes along the way plus she sang the songs that are canned music on the other tours. Hats off to DoDublin and especially to Mary, job well done!

The bus tour was great! It gives you some vouchers, discounts and free entry into a couple of bits so definitely worth checking before you start you visit if you were going to do anything they include anyway! Takes you all round the city so really good if you wanted to look at places a bit further out, you can use it as travel but also have some great commentary on your journey. The tour guides we had were hilarious! It definitely made the journey fun! We got the 48 hour pass as not much more than the 24hr and you can use it as much as you want! Would 100% recommend, so glad we chose this!! Made the trip what it was! We wouldn't have done a couple of the things we did has we not been on this tour!

Spent two days in Dublin on my way home to Canada so I got a 48 hour hop-on hop-off pass for the DoDublin bus. We had a few drivers and all were very good but my favourite was Cillian! His tour (like all the others) was informative but he was very funny and very helpful to all the passengers who travelled with him while I was on his bus. His recommendations were excellent and he was right when said not to miss the Guinness tour! I can now pour a PERFECT pint of Guinness and have the certificate to prove it! I look forward to returning for another tour with Cillian and belting out another rendition of the Wild Rover! I recommend you get on and go ALL the way around (takes 1 hour, 45 minutes) taking in the sites and as much info as you can. Make notes of the stops you would like to explore and then on subsequent trips hop-on and off exploring. You get bonus info from each driver and I found the 48 hour pass to be a great value!

Had a few different drivers in Dublin. So knowledgeable and clearly great at their jobs. We rode with Mary a couple of times and we had the best experience! Found Do Dublin as we were walking down the street and took a chance - would never hesitate to ride with them again!

This tour is really good even for natives like me. It's my second time doing it the last time was in 2016. I had my 12yr old son and 5yr old daughter with me. My son found it really interesting and took loads of photos but after about an hour my daughter said "this is a bit boring for me"! That's understandable though. We didn't get the full benefit of it we just stayed and did the tour rather than hop on and off which I would recommend doing. It was a very hot day and the driver told me how hot it can get up the top recommending suncream which we had.

Damien was our tour guide today and he was excellent (with the tour and with driving that huge bus in such a busy city)! Great insight into the city history and also some local insider knowledge. We had fun! Would highly recommend 👌🏻

It's beautiful when someone else is at the wheel. Our driver was a technician navigating Dublin and it outskirts with precision. At no time did I feel stressed or worried about the trip. We did have a free period which we were 'adulted' and told to return at a specific time. A couple of passengers missed that deadline which made for a tense trip back. So be aware, it's not a private tour and others can influence the trip. All in all the company did exactly what they advertised and more in my opinion.

What an amazing adventure with Joe our tour guide. Joe chatted to us while the bus was waiting to leave the 1st stop and had plenty of yarns throughout the tour. Great way to experience and explore Dublin. He even had some rude customers who got on the wrong bus (live commentary not multilingual) and was polite and helpful and apologetic (wasn’t needed) to them the whole time despite their continued rudeness

Fantastic tour this sunny Friday afternoon. I couldn’t get off the bus because of the guide/driver. His name is John. he knows history, art, shopping, entertainment, politics, restaurants and bars all of it made funny and he is an excellent singer and entertainer! Someone give this guy a TV program! Dublin was beautiful under the autumn sun! 100% recommended!

Loved these locally owned tour operator! We hopped on and off a few times ...all the drivers were friendly, funny and engaging!! The top section of the bus had a covered area as well as an open area thus giving us a place to run into for shelter when it rained (and it did rain of course!)

The best bus tour in Dublin, maybe even in the whole country of Ireland, if not in the world! Definitely worth taking a live commentary bus. The driver Bill made our day! When all other operators stopped the buses during some street demonstrations, DoDublin changed the route and made everything to accommodate the customers and continue the tour. Bill told the story of Dublin with particular accuracy to the details, but with a lot of jokes, making it informative and entertaining at the same time and putting an extra effort to make sure all guests have an awesome experience. Although all city bus tours seem the same and follow the same route, DoDublin is way above the rest of them!

Wish we had Timed it better for more live tours (every other bus) but otherwise it was a great experience top to bottom. Guides were great. Traffic was heavy but they did their best! Used the 48 hour pass to get almost 3 days of transport around the city. Stopped at little museum of Dublin at the end of our 48 hours and that was well worth a visit. Definitely a great way to see the sights and get your bearings!

Decided to take my son on Do Dublin bus tour yesterday, and we had an amazing time, a great way for both adults and children to brush up on history. There are plenty of historical sights and information given by our tour guide. 🤣🤣🤣 I'd ask for tour guide Ritchie he had us laughing so much our faces hurt. Would recommend this tour 100%

Great experience, Andy the driver was so good. Helped us with directions for the local buses and where to eat. He really knew his history and attractions, quite a character, even laughed at his jokes.

The drivers a.k.a tour guide were knowledgeable about the city. Mary was a great singer. Yes, you read it right. She sang for the tourist too ! Anyhow, some places of interest are better to get there by walking. This is because Dublin is only a small city, and traffic is heavy. I checked in somewhere near O'Connell Street, so I just walked up to The Irish Immigration Museum (EPIC) . It's took only 20 minutes to walk from my hotel but it took longer with the tour bus. I use Google maps to check the distance of my current location to the place I want to go, but sometimes Google Maps is not great in Dublin . I always read the signposts, so I don't get lost. I also check the map that comes with your ticket. I took the tour bus to Phoenix Park because it's far from my hotel. Dublin is a beautiful city, I made the most of my holiday because I save time by walking to places near me. Having said that, the tour bus is great if you just want to relax while browsing your surroundings.

Well worth the cost for this hop on hop off tour. It was a great way to get our bearings in Dublin. For three of the legs of our journey we got Ger as our tour guide, who entertained us with jokes and music and even invited us to sing Molly Malone with him. He was outstanding.

What a pleasant way of exploring the lovely city of Dublin.Good information was given and the route was well thought out.Stopping at major attractions or giving me as tourist a chance to save the places on my Google Maps to visit later

Pretty good bus tour. The top floor was just a recorded tour. Later on in the day we had the driver give the tour on the main bus floor which was much much better. They give you the option of a two day pass and will drop you off at different stops! Overall pretty enjoyable minus the recorded tour which can be a bit hard to hear.

We got the 2-day pass while we weee in Dublin for 3 days. Was a great way to hop on, get acclimated with the city, and then hop off on day 2 at the places we wanted to see. I would say the only downside was that we were only able to go so far at Phoenix Park, missing the presidents house and the papal cross but did see other tour buses go all the way up. Other than that, loved being able to tour Dublin this way.

Great way to explore much of the city, with fun drivers as well! The walking tour is fantastic--very informative, and grounds you well in the history and ability to navigate the center of Dublin.

The bus got quite full as it went. The driver was fun but a bit mad. He changed the route because of the heavy traffic in the city. I would not want to be one of many non-english speaking passengers on the bus as the recorded commentary would be no use to where we went. He probably had to try to keep to the time-table :/

Fantastic way to get around Dublin. Our drivers were both informative and funny. The upper deck in the open air was a great way to have an unobstructed view for some great photos.

I'd give DoDublin a negative star if I could. On the day of my valid ticket, it rained non-stop. Buses came every 60-90 minutes, and the stops were packed with people waiting in line. No online source ever indicated that the tour company had stopped regularly serving most stops during Covid and that they didn't resume. I bought the competitors ticket, and it was awesome. They had buses every 15 minutes, on the dot. I contacted DoDublin two times to request a refund for the ticket that I never used. Never heard a word. Do not use this company.

Have to say first that buses only go once per hour - wasn’t possible to find that out in advance and with such a long time between buses you can’t really hop on and off but have to plan everything in detail as you can’t afford to miss a bus! But the tour was very interesting, informative and entertaining. And the driver is excused for the bus being late as he said that’s because he talks so much which is true and is not a bad thing!

Would be much better with real commentary and less recorded awful versions of well known Irish songs. Whiskey in The Jar at snails pace wasn't exactly inspiring, sapped the life out of it. It is a fair price though and the buses were on time, clean and easy to spot.

Nice open air bus. It runs every 50 minutes. It offers free entry tickets to a few museums! Good to see most of the city center and beyond!

bus tour was brilliant. guide was very funny and informative so we learnt a few bits along the way. knocked one star off as we had sprinted to collection point to be there for 1pm but bus must have been early so missed it. waited 45 mins for next one. also expected it to be on a loop but when we reached town it stopped, we had to exit and then wait for the 3pm tour to start to recommence. not sure if this bit was down to lower attendees / lack of tourists given travel bans etc. overall really enjoyed it though and would do again
