👍👍 Did the walking musical Dublin free tour with the family and it was awesome! Our tour guide was really cool and sang songs at each stop. Really fun way to see the city on a clear day. Get to see certain musical historic spots throughout the city center. Probably walked about 5k in one hour 20 mins.... Did the walking musical Dublin free tour with the family and it was awesome! Our tour guide was really cool and sang songs at each stop. Really fun way to see the city on a clear day. Get to see certain musical historic spots throughout the city center. Probably walked about 5k in one hour 20 mins. About 6 or 7 stops along the way. All outdoors. There are at least one staircase and lots of cobblestone. You are outside the whole time. There were about 20-25 people on the tour. Note: though it is free, you are asked for a tip at the end. Most gave a €20 or more

Our tour guide was Keith, a lively knowledgeable guy with a good sense of humour. The tour was 2.5 hours with a 15minute stop at pub for a Guiness (if you so desire) I would 100% recommend Keith for your tour! 😁

Alan was an incredible tour guide! Was so engaging and knowledgeable, one of the best walking tours we’ve taken in Europe. The perfect amount of history and stories surrounding it while seeing all the sites.

Just so happy that I went with these guys. I had a real feeling of Dublin after that. And had a great time. Highly recommended and totally worth the money (yes they are “free”, but we all know that the guides do it for living)

We had a great tour with Keith. He was very knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Irish history. He had lots of helpful recommendations as well for local spots/must sees.

Keith was an amazing tour guide. He kept everyone’s attention with historical knowledge, personal insights, and his wonderful humor. It was three hours with a stop for a drink, but did not feel that long. Great way to start a trip to Dublin, as he gives recommendations for other stops to make on your own. Highly recommend!

We went as a family and had the best couple of hours with Dan, our tour guide! He gave us many interesting facts about Dublin and Ireland itself by telling us stories. He is very funny and helpful, gave us tips on what other museus to visit and places to go for food as well as pubs with proper Irish live music. Absolutely recommend to go on this tour as it was way better then expected! The tour we picked started at 1pm and it was not a tiring walk.

Keith was a wonderful guide who shared his passion and knowledge of the Ireland with us, with humour and thoughtfulness. He offered a very unique perspective- many of his stories stuck with me and made me think about bigger issues such as greed and bravery. The tour was 3 hours with a break for a drink in between, and my interest didn't waver the whole time! Thank you for the perspective and wonderful experience.

Wow!!! I think this is the best walking tour I have been on. Dan was funny, informative and charismatic - we especially loved the singing! The tour went by so quickly and we were lucky to be in a small group of only 8 of us. The stops were fascinating and he gave us lots of opportunities to ask questions - no matter how small! I would highly recommend it.

A group of 5 of us did this walking tour, and despite the weather our tour guide Kieran did such a great job! Our tour was free but we each left him a nice tip, as we felt it was more than deserved. He was humorous, engaging and told great stories and historical background on Ireland! We stayed at the Jacobs Inn Hostel and that’s how we found out abt the tour.

Barry, our guide was extraordinary, the tour was a chance to learn the stories inside the History we think we know. And most of all i believe i came out of it more informed while having fun! Great Time!

I had the best time in this Tour, Dave our tour guide was so much fun, he made sure that everybody was engaged in the conversation and was very funny and pleasant. I got to understand more about the history of Ireland and learn a lot more. I will so recommend this tour to everybody and please make sure to tip them well. It is soooo worth it!

Great tour. Really loved it and our guide, David, was fantastic. Learned a lot about the city of Dublin, and it’s history. Our guide also gave us the names of some cool places to go for live music, good food and fun pubs. Highly recommend!!!!

We enjoyed two parallel walking tours with Karl and David, who were both absolutely delightful. The tour was informative and thoroughly entertaining- we can't recommend booking with Generation Tours enough. The communication was easy and accommodating, Ray made sure all our needs where met.

We had a really good time and learned a lot about Irish history and drinking habits in the 3h. Keith shared all his knowledge with a lot of jokes and had an answer to all questions, no matter how crazy.

This was the best Free Walking Tour I've ever participated! Keith was an absolutely professional guide with a huge amount of knowledge and also made the tour a little bit like a comedy show which was great. Thanks to him, I know that Wales is a country. His singing skills could be better though ;). I highly recommend it!

Adam completely changed my mind about free walking tours. He was incredibly passionate about everything he spoke about and was engaging with everyone who was in the group. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone as their day 1 Dublin experience. Thanks from Australia!

We had a free walking tour of Dublin and we loved the way our guide, Dan transmitted Irish culture and history by telling us stories, and giving us a context to really appreciate and understand the spirit of the city. We had a great time thanks to his sense of humor, knowledge and curiosity towards the city, a couple of pints to have a break and get to know the other people of the group, the perfect ingredients to have an authentic and rich experience. Thank you Dan, you made us fall in love with Dublin! Cheers from Italy and France :)

I would pay our guide, Keith, to give me a tour of my own house. He's bloody amazing. That wasn't just a tour. He clearly has a great passion for Dublin and shows a longing for a city that, like many others, has witnessed the cons of being a tech hot spot, yet remains welcoming and cozy. His knowledge and info delivery was nothing short of impressive. There's nothing uninteresting or lackluster about this experience. I can not reccomend it enough.

A fantastic explosion when education and entertainment collide. This 3 hr tour will disappoint you, in that it does not last 3 hrs longer. Keiths knowledge of the city and the areas history was extensive, and described with clever mirth. Impressed by his delivery. Looking forward to his Netflix Special! (Or Broadway production.) Go raibh maith agat, and aloha. --DB

Superb!! Ideal mix of Fun Facts and historical information on the city. It took us 3 hours to do the full tour, but time flew with Alan who is very humorous en interesting to listen to! Would recommend this to anyone coming to Dublin. Greetings from the Belgian People!

Our tour with Keith helped us understand the city through a locals perspective. He was very funny and we will definitely remember 16% of the information he told us. He was also very helpful by explaining some words we didn't know. Strongly recommend!

Keith, the guide, was great. His wittiness made the tour funny and captured my attention. Respect for himself and others was very important which he made clear in his own way (very appreciated). The tour was timely. The information Keith provided was interesting and he took us to and told us the history not only behind the main attractions but also little details and elements we otherwise may not have known about. I really appreciated it. I'd recommend this tour to anyone. Tip: If you're overly sensitive or get offended easily, cover your ears or don't go. (I liked it!)

Dan was an amazing guide, we really enjoyed the tour. He was born and raised in Dublin, so no one knows the secrets of the city better than him. He demonstrated being a really good story-teller and explained the curious details of the city in a funny, very clear way, with a good sense of humor as well. We enjoyed a drink with him and was extremely nice with us when we asked about recommendations and places to go. I completely recommend doing a tour with him - definitely the best way to know Dublin and meet a nice person! Thanks Dan!

A fun & comprehensive walking tour!! It was very nice to meet Dan -our tour guide- and explore the city centre with him! A lot of information, historic facts, all well communicated and in a very-friendly and fun way! We made a stop to catch a breath (along with Irish coffee and pints ) and get to know a bit more each other. The tour exceeded the normal time I guess because we were all having so much fun! Highly recommended folks!
