Given its strict anti-Snowflake status, this has been on our things to do in Dublin list for a while. Went the full hog, booked a room for a few nights, and got a suite, so grand. The cafe is all you hope for, excellent simple food, served efficiently by attentive staff. Done the tour of breakfast dishes over 4 mornings while visiting the family. Great choice of coffees that taste like coffee and a larger menu to explore, maybe next time.

As a tourist I was really excited to have an Irish breakfast during my staying here. I did enjoy this café so much. The food was amazing and well presented. The waiters were nice and the café itself was really cute and warm. I really enjoyed my time there. I'd recommend this café to other tourists like me that want the full Irish breakfast experience! PS i also found the "no as***les" sign really funny ahahha

Really disappointed with the service here. We arrived at 2pm so an hour before close and it was emptying out. We asked for the pancakes (which I've had before and are delicious) to be brought as dessert after our brunch. The serving staff took so long to clear our plates (they were stanfing chatting to each other) that when I reminded them of our pancakes, they came back and said the chef had finished and it wasn't possible. We'd been sitting finished our food at least 15 minutes. Very disappointed as I'd been going on about the pancakes all morning! Staff were very apologetic and gave 10% off which was a nice gesture but just a pity overall as the service definitely could have avoided that.

I got a room here for the dates of 12/24-12/30. I saw the good reviews and figured the place looked nice. Could not be further from the truth. I found 3 HUGE cockroaches and one of them was crawling on the bed as I was just about to go to sleep. Not to mention there were stains on the sheets that looked like dried period blood 🥴🥴. So much for a Christmas vacation…

White Moose Cafe was My very first experience at buying a meal in Ireland after arriving in the beautiful country. I really liked the atmosphere of the place and the staff are real helpful and fun. I think the food is definitely value for money and the burrito was delicious! Also the precautions they have taken for the pandemic should be appreciated.

My husband and I have been going here every weekend for the past few months because they did not participate in discrimination and medical apartheid. Today, the young fellow at the door asked us for a cert and since we said we didn't have that, he did say we could eat outdoors, like colored people in the `Jim Crowe days in America who weren't allowed in certain establishments because of their ethnicity. I assume that a lot of their clientele were people who, for whatever reason, have chosen not to take the jab. Some people, for medical reasons, cannot take it and it is very difficult to get an exemption. So these people, like us, supported establishments like this. There are also people who have taken it that also support the fact that the White Moose Cafe was not about to discriminate. But today they turned away two perfectly healthy people who have, for months, been spending money on overpriced brunches. My husband and I have never had the virus. In fact, we haven't been sick for years. We we eat extremely healthy and the only time we have been breaking our healthy diet is when going to the White Moose Cafe. It felt really ugly to be turned away. Especially being a person of color who has experienced discrimination in my own country. It's been a real eye opener living in `Ireland, where the people are happy to roll over and not question the insanity of what their government is doing. But I digress, when things 'go back to normal' and those of us who decided not to take the poison are allowed back in the restaurants, cafes and pubs, we will not be supporting any establishments, like the White Moose Cafe, that chose to discriminate without cause.

Decent grub and I enjoyed the food when I got it, but my god you'll pull your hair out with the service. We had to walk in to find someone to seat us, no one came to take our order, no one took the plates away and part of our order was missed and when we raised it with our waiter we were told the kitchen was closed. Best bet is to order the food off deliveroo

After hearing so much hype about this place, I was disappointed. The staff were friendly, but the food was lackluster. Mushrooms were mostly bits of stems, one slice of toast was burnt and the other wasn’t fully toasted and soggy, and they upcharged me for getting beans instead of eggs. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

The food is all right, but a tad too expensive for the value; the service is moderately. The atmosphere in the waiting area is wonderful but in the dining room below the average. The Victorian style is not for everyone but definitely a worthy visit if you are in Dublin.

So this was a suggestion and I am so happy I followed through with it! This is a must place for breakfast/brunch! I loved the service and good vibes but really, the food was the showstopper! Not only are the options of dishes amazing, the portions are big and the taste is incredible! Bravo to the White Moose team! (People, the full Irish is a staple but be sure to try the pancakes, the Mushrooms toast and avorizo! 🤤)

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights over the Christmas holidays. And btw the room is reasonably clean and we got a good price for it since it was Christmas weekend. I mean the Lodge has beautiful lounge area, warm welcoming atmosphere from the front receptionist. I gave 3 stars because I wasn’t happy with the service I received from the restaurant staff. I wasn’t hungry…but my family members were(7 of us total) and so I ordered some OJ and plain Croissant. The server gave me a cold croissant and so I asked him to cut in half and toast so that it’s warm and put some butter…instead he put 2 packets of butter on my table and took off with my croissant. 1 minute later he brought me a nuked croissant! Yes, NUKED as in he put it in the microwave for a minute! Who put croissant in a microwave? Obviously he does! Needless to say my croissant tasted like rubber! Couldn’t even cut it that’s how rubbery it was! I snobbly told him what he did to the croissant I paid for and he didn’t even try to rectify my issue. Hence why I’m writing this review! I tried telling my ole man to not pay for the croissant but I was too late…his sister already paid and gave tips too! I’m not going back there!

Food and service was very good. My husband and I got the eggs Benedict and traditional Irish breakfast. We also enjoyed their coffee drinks. Would definitely come back.

I had been looking forward to eating here for a long time and now I don't know why I waited so long. It won't be so long before I go back. This place is quite the find. I decided to have the American breakfast (the full Irish plus pancakes), so I could sample a wide range of dashes. Everything was really nice, seved promptly by friendly staff. The White Moose Cafe is quirky and different. The signage on the way in set the tone. Go there and see what I mean. HIghly recommended.

Covid meant our trip here was two years later than planned but it did not disappoint! Fab vibe in the cafe and totally awesome full Irish breakfast. Staff were super friendly and service was really fast. LOVED it and fully intend to visit again 🙂

Lovely service, quick and efficient. I have the pancakes which were delicious!! And an Americano, which for once I actually enjoyed as I don't usually like filter coffee. They also have all sorts of milk alternatives which I appreciate as a lactose intolerant person. Would recommend

Best part and only good part of my stay in Dublin was hotel. Me and my partner came for our first anniversary. We booked a standard double on arrival we were giving as receptionist said honeymoon suite, wow absolutely stunning room all staff were lovely and friendly and service was always with a smile. Love the little humorous touches throughout the hotel and restaurant. Just a perfect stay all around

I have never been to the White Moose Cafe. Last time I visited Ireland was back in 2004. Dublin is a great city. Anyways, I am giving at 5 stars review. Thanks to Elle Darby's initiative to help the cafe's visibility, and the priceless, fair and perfectly reasonable reply she's had from the cafe owner...I just read it, and you sir, made my day. If I ever go to Dublin again, I'll make sure I'll pop in for a cappuccino and some cakes, and leave another honest review! :)

I have been waiting YEARS after finding the White Moose on social media to try this place. I'm from the states so when I finally had the chance to visit Dublin, I made sure to stop by. Incredibly delicious food, friendly staff, and amazing humor all around.

I had fabulous lunch with my friends. The atmosphere was lovely, warm and friendly. The staff was kind and accommodating. The food was absolutely fabulous, and the coffee was delicious. Unfortunately there are no baby changing facilities. Otherwise a fantastic experience.
