Brilliant ice cream and excellent staff. You’re allowed to try any of the flavors And the staff is more than ready to answer any questions about the flavors. Irish coffee is a great choice and well worth trying!

It’s amazing. I literally have nothing else to say. It’s definitely worth the hype and if it’s a queue then it’s definitely worth the queue. The attendants are super nice and attentive and will give you as many samples as you want so you can try the ice cream without even buying anything but after the samples you’ll definitely want to. I would strongly recommend getting the sea salt together with the mango sorbet - the creaminess and salt of the sea salt works perfectly together with the lightness and fruitiness of the mango. Definitely go on a hot day and enjoy this treat.

Thank you to Somebody Feed Phil, because Somebody Feed Evan. The ice cream was awesome. They let you sample everything and they’re so friendly. Had the Irish Brown Bread and Honeycomb Caramel. Would get again in a heartbeat.

The best thing here is the staff! The ice cream is a close second too. Irish Brown Bread, Irish Coffee and Sea Salt are all well worth a try. But the staff were just fantastic. I hope Mr/Ms Murphy takes good care of them.

Most iconic ice cream from Ireland. They also have non dairy option for folk who are lactose intolerant. You can try the different flavors before you buy. The Dingle Sea Salt flavor is probably the most classic one. There are also tubs and ice cream biscuits for sale if you want to get some for your fridge for the future. There are limited indoor seatings for those who want to sit down to eat. The staff are always lovely and cheerful.

We've wanted to come to Murphys and try the unique flavors ever since watching the Somebody Feed Phil Ireland episode. It didn't disappoint. It was quite busy when we arrived, turns out that Monday was a bank holiday. The staff were fantastic at rangling the customers in an orderly line and offered samples of anything you wanted while waiting. The brown bread ice cream was amazing! Truly enjoyed it with a side of Raspberry Sorbet. Came back a few days later to get some more deliciousness. Murphys Ice Cream is must on your stop to Dublin.

Local Irish ice cream shop with 3 liquor ice cream… Irish cream, rum&rasin and Chocolate whiskey. All are nice. I ordered the medium size and Although the photo is two scoops but you can actually ask for 3 scoops with three different flavor… so I ordered all three liquor flavor. Taste wise, it is nice and delicious.

Very nice ice cream with very different flavors. Staff is very nice and makes you taste everyone of it so that you can decide better. Right in the center of city center so easy to find and reach as well. Have couple of alcohol based flavours as well. They are really nice. Raspberry and mango sorbet were nice too.

Tasty ice cream shop with excellent service. Dingle sea salt and butterscotch are my two favorites. Chocolate whiskey didn’t have enough chocolate flavor in my opinion.

Experience was outstanding from the offset, starting with great greetings from the star employee David who made every effort to make us comfortable and relaxed with his energetic and jovial demeanour. His expert analysis and presentation of all the available flavours allowed us to make the most efficient and satisfying flavour choice for our cones humanly possible. Bravo David! We highly recommend Murphy’s to any visitors to Dublin, as well as the brown bread flavour.🍦

We put this on our “must visit” list after watching Feed Phil on Netflix. The ice cream did not disappoint. The sea salt ice was amazing and the brown bread was also delicious. Definitely recommend both. The young man who helped us was very nice and made the experience that much better.

Nice place to get ice cream. The selection of flavours isn't a lot, but it's unique and interesting. They use their own recipes and that's always nice. It's a little pricey, with €4.80 for one scoop. You can ask for a tester to make sure you have the flavour that tastes best to you. The flavour won't disappoint you, but you have to be prepared to spend for good ice cream.

The most amazing ice cream, flavours are incredible. If you're in Dublin or Dingle you simply MUST get dome Murphys Ice Cream. I had the Dingle Sea Salt, Irish Brown Bread and Honeycomb. All delicious!

Absolutely divine ice cream. A must visit when in Dublin. Greeted at the door by an attentive staff member who allowed me to sample as many flavours as I liked, with generous portions. It was so hard to choose as they were all delicious. Bread and butter was interesting. Gin was lovely and Kieran’s cookies was essentially cookies and cream.

James is just absolutely fantastic working here! Let me try so many flavours and was just super friendly and engaging. The other girl on the till (I didn’t catch her name) was also so lovely. As for the ice cream, I got the Brown Bread and Kieran’s cookies - I thought I would like these a lot more than I actually did. The brown bread bits are crispy and not that enjoyable to eat, wish they were chewy instead. I tried the raspberry, mango and dingo gin and those were quite flavourful so I would go back for those. The peanut butter was quite strong and the dingle sea salt didn’t have a taste in particular to me. Overall amazing service and great location!

What sets Murphy’s Ice Cream just off Grafton Street is not just their world-class ice cream but also the quality of service provided by the extremely enthusiastic and passionate staff. The staff provides passer-by’s and customers in the queue with samples of all sorts of flavours helping them find their favourites, as well as recommending popular flavours such as the Dingle Sea Salt and Chocolate Whiskey for the brave. Although the prices at Murphy’s have been rising for a while, it’s well worth making the special detour from shopping nearby, especially during the summer. I hope that Murphy’s bring back special ice creams with whipped cream and syrup, in the future. The best place in Dublin for a special treat!

Lovely ice cream shop. You can taste test as many flavors as you like. I had the Dingle Gin and Dingle Sea Salt. DELICIOUS!!!

Probably one of the best ice creams ive tried. The combination of flavors is really unique but somehow it tastes really good. I got the Dingle Sea salt and Irish Brown bread and they’re delicious. Cant wait to try the rest:) On top of this, their customer service is really good, very cheerful staffs and they also let you try the flavors before you order.

I was on a short trip to Dublin and decided to try this cause of online recommendations. The people working here are very warm and kind. They will give you recommendations on flavors and will encourage you to try them before buying. They have brown bread flavoured ice cream! But after tasting a few, I had the dingle sea salt and smooth chocolate. Sea salt - Recommended! It's a bit pricey though, maybe because Dublin is a bit expensive.

We seriously had the best experience here ever! The employees provided the best customer service we have experienced! They are all so genuinely friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. We were drawn in by an employee handing out samples of their chocolate and whiskey flavor. YUM! From there we sampled most of their menu. It is small but there are great flavors to choose from. Seriously, they were all amazing. Our two favorite flavors are the Dingle Sea Salt and Irish Brown Bread. They said those were their best sellers and I can see why. I also really liked the lemon curd. It is gourmet ice cream and worth the bit of extra money. I will be thinking about that sea salt ice cream for months to come!

The staff is so friendly! That's so nice. They offer you tasting samples in order for you to pick the ice cream you like. I tried nearly all of the flavours they had to offer this day (because yeh it's not always the same flavours everyday). I fell in love with the Dingle Sea Salt one, it's actually mind blowing! I really liked the Chocolate Whiskey and the Irish Brown Bread flavours too. Try it yourself I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed! Probably going to Dingle in the next few days and will definitely check out their store over there too 🤗

Very friendly lady who let us try all of the flavours they had. Really good that you can have however many flavours you like as it's measured by weight. I ended up having 4 of my fav - coffee, mango, raspberry and chocolate. Usually I'm not a fan of normal coffee icecream but theirs was really tasty. Loved it. Would definitely go again when in Dublin.

Visited Murphy's recently during one of the sunniest and hottest day of the month. The queue was quite long, but the waiting time was definitely worth it! The staffs were very cheerful and friendly. We were offered to taste some samples, which is great because we were not familiar with all the flavours. My favourite is the Dingle Sea Salt, Raspberry sorbet, and Irish Brown Bread and Butterscotch. Planned to buy a large cup to share with my husband, but finally bought 2 smaller size in cones because we want to taste many of them in full size! 😆

I cannot recommend Murphy's enough. We ran into the shop 10 minutes to close after trying to get it the day before with no luck. One on the shop workers (it was a woman with glasses and dark hair) had great banter with us and let us try all the flavors despite the time. She was even kind enough to answer a few touristy questions we had. She was incredibly kind and the ice cream was DELICIOUS. The brown bread ice cream was so unique.

A great find in Downtown Dublin. The ice cream was amazing. The staff was friendly and was so welcoming of us even though we were from across the pond. Our server looked like famed Irish actor Cillian Murphy, who in a funny twist is a frequent patron of Murphy's. It will take more than a scarecrow to keep me from coming back. This place rivals American ice cream chains in quality and flavor. The shop was cute and appropriately placed near restaurants and pubs. Go to the pub, come to Murphy's for dessert.

👍👍 The West End is my go to morning treat. I haven't gone wild sampling all the menu just yet, and stick to my usual Ham/Cheese & Egg crepe which always goes down a treat. Great prices and great location to sit out in the morning sun and bask in glorious food and weather with a nice cup of coffee. Com...
