Paid an extra €11.95 when booking for a great value, unlimited breakfast…. only it wasn’t a great value breakfast . The food was cold ! Cold mushrooms & warm bacon, the poached egg was good and freshly cooked but the rest very disappointing . The selection on the buffet was sparse to say the least just a poor selection of pastries and mini boxed cereal. With all The eateries around the area I really think you would do better to skip breakfast here all together and get much better somewhere else . Our room was spotless , shower was great and very good security measures in place with keycard access needed for lifts and floor access . Value for money for stay ,was excellent for a hotel in the centre of the city !

Nice clean rooms and bathrooms although the heating seems to cut in and out. However the internet here is shocking! Most of the time, I barely exceeded 100kb/s, so rule out streaming Netflix or any other online service, or doing any work. They do offer a 5x increase in speed for €5 a day, but 5x of nothing, is still nothing!

Great Location and personnel. The room is big with the extra sofa. But one of the USB slots near the bed didn’t work, as well as hair drier. Also, the European outlet in the bathroom is very unstable, I couldn’t charge my laptop there. However, the breakfast for €12.50 is great - black pudding, sausage, eggs, bacon, tomatoes, beans, different kinds of bread, yogurts and cereal. Also some fruits, juices, coffee machine and jams.

Stayed on Friday 9/9/22 in this Hotel . The manager was very rude .. came out with her arms folded. Who wants to speak to me ? Very unapproachable!! She’s in the wrong job. I was told by the receptionist that I had to pay €255 for another room along with the room we had already booked €150 , which had 1 double bed and a single which was perfect for 3 girls to sleep in . The reason being they said they weren’t insured for 3 adults in the room that we booked. It’s actually Pathetic. I have stayed in loads of hotels and there was never this issue. So when the cross looking unpleasant manager appeared she then had the nerve to say this room will be €294 unless you book it yourself on line . The receptionist made it quite clear she was charging us €255 before manager made us book ourselves standing in front of there system. This was completely uncalled for. Two separate payments the was taken for €305 This was her just showing her authority, in my eyes. Will never stay there again.

Enjoyable stay at this Premier Inn. The rooms were clean, tidy and well maintained with lovely powerful shower and comfy bed. Our room wasn’t particularly huge, but big enough for a base when exploring Dublin. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect with the riverside, Temple Bar bars, restaurants and Grafton Street within just a few minutes walk. One lift was out of service on our visit, which meant there was often a fairly lengthy wait for the lift but that wasn’t a huge issue. One problem we did have was a fire alarm at 2:30am, which was set off by a troublemaker in the welcome lobby. This damaged the alarm which led to 30min disturbance - clearly not ideal but when we discussed this with the staff in the morning they were hugely apologetic and offered us free breakfast. The breakfast was good with the buffet remaining well stocked. Would’ve maybe liked some more traditional Irish options rather than the generic GB version, but that’s just me! Overall a pleasant stay in a great hotel. Would choose it again next time we stay in Dublin!

Having visited many premier inns it's hard to review based on merit alone and you invariably end up drawing comparisons - the long and short of it is that this is in need of a revamp and fairly quickly - the good is the location, the beds are comfy and it's standard stuff for premier inn. The bathroom is dated and the air con/heating is intermittent. Free internet is not useable and the unlimited (5 euro a night) is much better but not perfect. The food at breakfast wasn't good - bread was ropey, items not available, everything looking as if it was cooked at 06:00 and still the same batch at 07:30. The staff are friendly and do their best (certainly from of house staff) but while waiting overheard two separate customers complaing of broken toilet seats. Had room moved as wanted an early check in and then had staff coming into the room only surprised to find me there and when offering them access (as presumably they needed it) they declined and left - all a bit strange. It served a purpose but on this occasion I'd look to book elsewhere for next trip - once revamped and with premier inn plus I'd try again. (Evening menu included just to show how limited the offer is here - didn't eat so can't comment)

The hotel is just new so the room is in perfect shape. Very clean and has that “new house” smell. We only stayed for 1 night but we really enjoyed it. The rooms are soundproof so we couldn’t hear any noises from the corridor or next door when we on were trying to sleep which was great. The bathroom was very clean and well laid out. The breakfast is also a good price at €11.95 per person for a full breakfast. The only two complaints I have are 1. After checking in and arriving in our room, we decided to book a table for breakfast the next morning. We were told at reception that we can call using the phone in the room when we’ve decided what time slot we wanted. I tried ringing reception 2/3 times with no answer. Eventually, I had to go downstairs back to reception to make the booking in person which was quite annoying. But could be an issue of staff shortage as there was only one girl at reception who seemed to be occupied with a lot of other duties. 2. Another issue, which could be as a result of being understaffed, was that at breakfast, it was difficult to find a waiter to ask for something after being served the first time. The breakfast is usually a buffet but because of Covid guidelines, it was table service at the time of our stay. Hence, anything more you wanted had to be requested from the waiter. We had to wait about 10-15 mins for a waiter to arrive at our table again. Excluding these two minor issues, I would totally recommend this hotel as it is one of the few hotels in the city centre that are maintaining 100% cleanliness.

It's your typical Premier Inn. The staff were amazing, helpful, and informative. The rooms were just what you would expect from a hotel. Very clean👍 The breakfast was a little disappointing for the €13 we paid. It's located perfectly for bars, restaurants, and a short walk to the main temple bar area.

Great value for the price. The room was a decent size, very clean, and you couldn’t hear anything outside. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location was great!

Great 3-night stay at the Premier Inn! The check in process was smooth and workers were very helpful with luggage storage. The location was perfect and convenient. The discount at the local car park was nice too! Will stay here again. The room was very nice with great finishes.

Stayed for four nights, my experience didn't meet my expectations , at the reception the person was nice and helpful. The room was ok except for the bed as the mattress was very old and full of uneven spots. Decided to try the breakfast for a day but please please AVOID the breakfast at all cost is not worthy. I was the first person to be there for breakfast at 7 am expecting that at least things would be fresh but the items were not even ready until 7:30am and taking into account the simplicity of it as it is main cheap bread, cereals , frozen fruit , reheated pastries (croissant, pain au chocolat ) reheated from who knows how many days and even the person from the reception put them to display with her hands without any gloves not even someone from the kitchen . The coffe machine without milk pancakes taken from the fridge served ice cold to display. Requested the cooked breakfast and I think for COVID they were not setting up the buffet style as advertised and instead they were taking the order individually and I thought it was gonna be cooked at the moment but was served again reheated food from the day before as is impossible to be the first one to come and still get that not even decent quality of food , soggy hash brows , dry old reheated bacon , tasteless scramble eggs, they didn't have two items of the cooked breakfast tomato and black pudding didn't offer something else. The location is great as is in the centre and there are a lot of things around.

Great location. The young lad who checked us in on the first day was amazing. After that the service fell short, rooms weren’t stocked with enough coffee/ tea for 2 nights, bed had an old pizza crust and rubbish under it - which was obvious, so cleaning wasn’t great. Breakfast was really nice & good value

You know what you're getting with a Premier Inn. Standards are always pretty good and while it may not be the Ritz the rooms are always comfortable with everything you need. Having said that this place is pretty new so it's extra nice at the moment and the showers are really good in this one. The reception is downstairs.

During our trip to Ireland we spent our last night in this Premier Inn hotel. Suddenly in the middle of the night (2h30), the fire alarm went off for half an hour straight. I went to reception and it was confirmed by the team that the alarm was set off by a hotel guest who couldn't enter the premises with his keycard and decided to set off the fire alarm to get attention. Subsequently, the fire alarm went off for half an hour straight (!) which the employees didn't know how to turn off. 30' later it stopped for 15' and then it started again for two minutes. The next day, we were promised a fair compensation in the hotel if we filled out an online form. After a long time, the hotel answered that they didn't want to give a compensation even though the websites states that they offer 'good night sleep guarantee'. It's been taking months before they answer an email. It happened in September and I am still waiting on a decent reply. Wouldn't recommend at all.

We were here for 4 nights. No in room service unless specifically requested. Breakfast was good but no evening meal service or bar. Location great for exploring Dublin city centre. Most places were within walking distance.

Great location and very friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Easily accessible to temple bar and grafton street and the majority of the sites in Dublin like the castle and whiskey museum. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, an enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Lovely room, temperature just right, and super comfy bed. Room was looking onto George's St but it was really quiet. I would have given the hotel 5 stars except for the dinner. The menu was very limited and was mostly Mexican. It's a pity hotels in Ireland don't include a few Irish dishes on their menus. After all I'm sure visitors expect to be served local food.

Very nice staff being very helpful. Tried to check in early but fully booked previous night so they let us drop off our bags while we explore. Got into nice family room, asked for 2 more pillows and they got it for us with not problems. Great place - highly recommend :)

Very small room when I booked a family room. We were all on top of each other. Staff were friendly but we had booked dinner in our reservation. When we checked in we were told they had a limited menu so we had 2 options. We cancelled the dinner and went out. Breakfast wasn't till 7am but with lots of marathon runners booked in it's a pity they didn't have an earlier breakfast. Staff did get some cereal and toast organised but something warm like porridge would have been good. Location was excellent and Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very typical Premier, good location in centre of Dublin. The full breakfast was the worse I have had in any of the many Premier I have stayed at. Eggs dry and machine cooked, bacon very dry, sausage over cooked, only basic bread out, none of the standard continental fayre one normally gets. Not worth the cost of nearly €13

All our, visit only one lift worked, really quite annoying, a lot of rooms and floors relying on one very small lift. Fire alarm goes off and on, off and on at 2:30am, you leave your room to discover that to access the fire escape you need your room key card ‘seriously’! (good job it was a false alarm) Rooms and location were good.

Perfect place to stay while you visit Dublin, Ireland. Best location most attractions is walking distance from shopping, restaurants, pubs, etc. Room I was very impressed on how clean and cozy it was. Bed was very comfortable today. I highly recommend.

4.5 stars - They have AC but if you are American it may not be what you are use to. Since our time in Europe it seems like AC isn’t a priority to many people here. We normally sleep on 66 degrees F. We had the AC as low as it would go but it probably was at 74 degrees F if I had to guess and the windows don’t open. Staff were SO nice. Our flight arrived at 5am and they let us check in (not sure if that’s normal or not but we called ahead to make sure we could). Location is incredible can’t get better. Short walk to all the major tourist things. If we came back I would probably try to find a place with better AC otherwise this place was great

Really great location, food was very cheap and convenient as we arrived quite late in the evening and most places were closed. The manager Louise was amazingly friendly and helpful. Adjustable thermostat was a great addition too. Great value for money.

Lovely and clean. As usual, beds are extremely comfortable. We've been using Premier Inn for nearly 20 years and never had a bad night's sleep. Location as always is great. Right in the heart of Dublin, close to everything. The only issue with this particular venue was the lack of channels on TV. Only 4. I know it is not a major issue because you are not going away to watch TV. But it would have been nice to have more choice at the end of the daytime activities to be able to watch more than RTE, especially if you are not from Ireland. So please, add a few more channels. 🙏

Great to see Premier Inn expanding. Good value high quality rooms (minus some poor workmanship in the bathroom) in Dublin and very friendly staff. Restaurant menu however is very disappointing for a Premier Inn but unfortunately the restaurant is located in the basement with reception.

Stayed here for one night with work. The room was both clean and a good size. Desk was more than suitable to work at. The location was great for getting around Dublin. Breakfast was good quality and filled me up for the day. Price was reasonable by Dublin standards. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely amazing stay, incredibly helpful and warm staff! Took care of all our needs and made us feel welcome everyday. Stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful experience, will definitely recommend! Room 109 is a very sweet deal! Thank you! :D

This premier inn is definitely one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed at, although a bit more expensive. Bed was comfy and the facilities were good. Bathroom was clean and spacious, although I would say I personally don’t like the hair and body wash they provide in the hand pump.

We stayed here in the beginning of July 2022. Everything was good and exactly as you would expect in a Premier Inn hotel - nice and comfy bed, good breakfast, very good noise isolation in rooms. During our stay there were some notes hanging in elevators about difficulties with cleaning (understaffed), and indeed we accidentally discovered a blanket and a sock under our bed. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless!

Located near city centre and prime shopping street, Grafton Street as well as the in vogue, Temple Bar area which is brimming with bars, restaurants and other hotels. Also convenient to historic buildings and museums. We stayed on a room only basis. Staff were friendly and helpful. Multi storey car park is a 5 minute walk from hotel and residents get a discounted rate of €16 for 24 hours. Hotel is only opened one year and in good condition. Good location for a Dublin visit.

Hotel is very well looked after. Rooms are very well looked after and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We've always stayed her when visiting Dubiln it's right in the heart of all the pubs, restaurants and places to go which are all within walking distance. And never had an issue with noise, very kid friendly all our needs were catered for. Breakfast is very nice and I'd highly recommend.

Stayed this past weekend, family of four and had a really great experience. They went especially above on our last day helping us with some arrangements. The staff was super helpful. The room was clean and breakfast like other Premier Inns we have stayed in. And of course the price was significantly better than the alternatives in the are. I would definitely go back.

Have stayed in quite a few Premier Inns and this was not one of the best. Overpriced for what we got. Rooms were bog standard but just somehow didn't seem as nice as others. Rooms not serviced because of Covid but I strongly feel this was just cost cutting, Covid restrictions have gone and they staffed the dining room without any Covid precautions, had to wait several times for breakfast items as bacon had dried up and eggs were hard and rubbery. Just generally below the normal standard.

Great value hotel. Nice new rooms, fantastic location, friendly staff. For £150 per night this was as good as and more modern than the £500 a night 5* hotel I also stayed at on my trip. My only criticism is the 'included' WiFi is not good enough to watch Netflix on your laptop or tablet.

  • 4/5 Tracy E. 1 year ago on Google
Room was a good size. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure was great. Probably most importantly it was quiet only street noise was an ambulance. Location was the best close to Temple Bar and Trinity college areas; very walkable. Bars and restaurants very close to the hotel were laid back with great food. One downside was the internet was a little slow for large video streaming. There was an option for more bandwidth, but you had to pay. Also, the breakfast had good hours of availability but was just ok-average. We would stay here again!

Omg, stood in this hotel and it’s amazing.. clean and comfortable and close to shops and pubs. Best thing they are near a tattoo studio Called Tiger Tattoo. I will definitely come and stay here again .

This is an okay hotel. It’s generally clean and tidy. However, the curtains were a little damaged and unclean looking and the bath had no plug which was disappointing. They also refused to do a room clean during the day because of covid, which I don’t think is an acceptable excuse at this point. The temperature of the room was pretty good, and the beds were comfy. They shower was good as well, and the hotel is very quiet. It was a bit in the pricy side, but I can understand this is due its location. I’d come back here again.

Great location, plenty of bars & restaurants on doorstep. Fantastic friendly & very helpful staff. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Breakfast was lovely as was our room, 3rd floor no view but not bothered by that as the room was so quiet. Can't wait to stay again.

Great Price. Rooms freshly renovated, extremely clean, very friendly staff, accommodating and a convenient location. From Canada, first time in Dublin absolutely love it. Recommend 100%. Thanks staff!
