As a local Dublin resident, I wanted to share my disappointing experience with this store. I purchased a merino sweater for my mother two months ago, and to my dismay, the knits have completely disintegrated, resulting in a large hole. What made the situation even worse was the manager's rude and defiant attitude when I approached her for a resolution. Despite knowing that the damaged sweater was purchased from their store, she repeatedly insisted on seeing the receipt. When I offered to show her the proof of purchase, she claimed that since the sweater had been washed, I was not eligible for a refund. This reasoning is illogical, as I am not someone who intentionally damages clothes and then demands a refund. My concern genuinely lies in the low quality and poor durability of the product. If the manager fails to respond to my sincere request for a refund or replacement, I will be compelled to refer to the Consumer Protection Act 2007. This legislation clearly states that consumers have the right to expect products to be durable and of expected quality for normal use. In such a case, I would have no choice but to pursue legal action against Carrolls Irish Gifts using the Small Claims Procedure. I hope that the store will address this matter promptly and uphold their responsibility to provide satisfactory customer service.

This is definitely the place to be for souvenirs. You will find several shops all across the City Centre. They do really have everything you can imagine: from simple mugs and t-shirts, to exclusive jewellery. The prices are also affordable and often even cheaper than in other shops. The staff is absolutely brilliant. They can tell you exactly where you can find everything and most of them speak several languages.

Perfect souvenir shop for both Knick-knacks (like refrigerator magnets, key chains, cups…etc.) and clothing. I made stops at several Carrolls from Northern Ireland down to Dublin. They seem to have a store almost every few blocks. Worth the stop in.

If you want an Irish gift, THIS is definitely the place. If you don’t find it here, I doubt you’ll find it anywhere. Staggering amount of Guinness merchandise.

A must visit store for tourists in Ireland. Things can be a bit expensive especially chocolates and treats. But you have everything under one roof

Staff in this particular store in Westmoreland street is rude and incompetent. It appears the basics required for a store assistant job is too much. It reflects badly on a store if the employees so obviously do not want to bother with work. No apology received for their error - several mistakes, different employees - either. Not a reflection on Carrols in general, just this particular branch.

I worked at this store during the pandemic briefly as a salesman in the clothing section. Great memorable times and the CEO is a wonderful Irish gentleman. The Irish staff are amazing. Bought loads of stuff for my family and friends. Will most probably return bringing more and more customers from around the world. Carroll’s Irish gift has a special place in my heart. ☘️☘️☘️☘️ I love this place so much. Regards, Farzin

Friendly, helpful staff. Deep, wide steps in middle of shop is a major issue people with mobility aids without staff/other customers' help. Could part of same stairs be possibly converted to ramp as part of health and safety reviews for the benefit/ease/access of all customers/staff alike?

Quite a big branch offering a variety of Irish crafted items. Top floor is especially good as it is a department full of Irish wool made products

It's one of the biggest gift shops in Dublin, which was very nice, but that doesn't mean you find what you're looking for.

Nice Irish Gift Shop, with all you need of Souvenirs Magnets, Shirts, Sweater, Jackets, Woolstuff, Jewelry, some Sweets, for Ireland, Dublin and many Stuff from Guinness for the price same at the Guinness Storehouse. 5 Stars, there you can find all you need. Biggest shops are on the O'Connell Street and Ashton Quay I think.

Great for Irish gifts, obviously. Good selection of t/shirts and sweatshirts. The Aran selection is very good if that is your thing. I always call into Carroll's when in Dublin. I must mention that the young lady who served me was brilliant and very polite.
