Beautiful view. We recommend to be there faster with at least half an hour before sunset because after that it can get too crowded. We took an uber and it was cheaper for us than taking the cabin car. We went back down walking. There are no lights on that road and we took about 30 minutes till we reached the town.

Best view of the sunset in Dubrovnik! Though driving up is a bit nerve wracking wait till you drive down! It will test your Patience because of traffic jam!

Most amazing sunset in Dubrovnik!

Très bel endroit pour regarder le coucher du soleil et se rafraîchir un peu de la chaleur de la ville. Après une journée couverte et même quelques goutte de pluie le ciel s’est dégagé et nous avons pu assister au coucher du soleil sur les îles et les montagnes. De la nous avons également une vue sur Dubrovnik sans les câbles du télécabine.

Richtig schöner Sonnenuntergang! Allerdings ein wenig überlaufen, trotzdem ein Muss wenn man in Dubrovnik ist! Ich empfehle jedoch mit einem Uber hochzufahren, da man deutlich weniger zahlt, als einmal mit der Gondel zu fahren. Wir waren zu 4t und haben für die Fahrt hoch nicht mal 3€ gezahlt.

Instead of a cable car up you can drive and park here for free and you get even better views than from the cable car. You can also take an Uber that will also be cheaper. You can also park right next to the cable car station and walk around there to get better view on the islands. There are paths. There is also a rent of the gokarts from 40eur per person at the top and some war museum.

Beautiful spot to watch the sun set

It’s better to come here somewhat beforehand as it gets a bit crowded right before the sunset. We got up by the hiking trail and it was an active and for sure worthy experience :)

Good for camping.

We were there by car. Please realize that it is a really narrow road and you have to give each other priority when there are oncoming traffic. I didn't find this a problem myself. The view is very beautiful, although I wouldn't want to pay for a trip with the packed gondola. All in all definitely worth it, especially after a visit to the city.
