👍👍 Dubrovnik is old and beautiful. There is a lot of attractions like „Stari Grad” which means the old town, city walls, beach, restaurants and much more. The prices is high, and parking as well. In the high season one hour costs 70 kuna or more, which is about 10 e/h The food is delicious. If you have... People often mention beautiful, town, city, walls, streets, walk, Dubrovnik, wall,

Love walking around this old historical town. Plenty of small cafes, baklavas, and gelato stops. There's ATMs too. There are plenty of similar narrow alleys with both sides selling local merchandise and souvenirs. I also discovered much later that this place is the primary location for the shooting scene of the famous television series Games of Thrones. Crowded place. Clean and very well kept. Free entrance.

Well worth a visit if you're in the area. The amazing architecture is only upstaged by the atmosphere, which takes you back to a different age. As the stone streets have been highly polished by years of footfall, they can get slippery, so be careful if wearing sandals. It can also get very hot during the summer, but there are ancient water fountains where you can fill bottles. The water is safe to drink. If you want to walk on the old walls, then you have to buy a ticket. It's cheaper to buy these online, or as part of a guided tour. It's also worth finding one of the three points where you can get through the wall to the sea side, and see it all from another perspective.

What a unique experience walking through the old town and learn the history behind it. Walked around on the top of the wall looking out the orange yellow roofs was fascinating! The view with blue ocean shining at the end of the city was so beautiful!

Wow this place is busy! One person at the outskirts drove up a one way street and brought the whole place to a standstill. It’s expensive and the downside is the charge to walk round the walls. However, there are some great restaurants and the shops are delightful. I liked Life according to KAWA. Very atmospheric and it is busy until late at night. The port is also nice. Would definitely visit again.

An absolute beautiful little maze of streets with beautiful views and old stones everywhere...the Dubrovnik Old Town has something for everyone! I was there photographing a couple after their wedding ceremony and before the reception, and we had a blast! The little streets are perfect to find a secluded and intimate place for couples pictures, and it's so beautiful everywhere we didn't have any problem finding some beautiful spots! I recommend +++!

Very beautiful place. 'Must visit' for all fans of 'Games of Thrones' Best time to visit - early in the morning. Less people and not too hot.

Amazing place, highly recommend buying a city pass, works out cost effective especially if you’re to have a walk on the city walls. Expect to pay a little more for things here, than outside the city walls

The reputation surely precedes this beautiful part of Dubrovnik! When first arrived, I was daunted to find out that I had to carry my luggage through the stairs, which was a lot of work! Later I found that there is a detour to get into the old town without stairs. The old town is packed with tourists in September! It’s almost impossible to make a perfect picture without a million tourists in your frame. My recommendation is to get up at 7 and go straight to the old town. Then you’ll be one of the few people there. Lovely!

The scenery along the wall is incredible. Takes approximately an hour to go all the way round. Some parts can be crowded, and there are several bars/ice cream shops along the way but make sure you bring water!

We just loved the old Town, so much to soak in. The best way to see the old Town is to walk around. We walked around the town multiple times, during the day and evenings. Grab a coffee or a gelato and just enjoy the vibes. So many beautiful buildings, cafes, bars... Start your walk at the Pile Gate or the Police gate and wander around the cobblestone, picturesque streets *The Dubrovnik Cathedral *Church of St. Blaise (Dubrovnik’s patron saint) *Orlando’s Column *Onofrio Fountain *The Franciscan Monastery *Jesuit stairs

The "Pearl of the Adriatic" truly lived up to its reputation. Walking through the majestic city walls, I was transported to another era, surrounded by captivating history and awe-inspiring architecture. The narrow streets of the Old Town revealed hidden gems at every turn, while the views from atop Mount Srđ left me breathless. Don't miss the chance to walk the city walls and witness the stunning panoramas of the Adriatic Sea.

Went there on a holiday with my wife. Very beautiful town surrounded by a massive wall with steps leading down to town center, loads of narrow streets with restaurants, gift shops and pubs. The marina is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by. A walk along the town wall and a trip on the cable car to the mountain over looking the old town was nice as well. A downside to the town is we found it expensive to do the tourist things and the food was expensive, however when we ate outside the town walls it was a lot less expensive, other than that a beautiful place

Definitely one of the most beautiful towns and places in Croatia. History is all over here. Take a walk without a map. It is great to get a little lost in those small streets. Prices for pretty much everything are high, so prepare for this beforehand :) Take some water with you as it gets very hot here. Highly recommend this place!

This is a very large and beautiful old town of Dubrovnik with lots of tiny streets, and churches to visit or to simply take a stroll around. Unfortunately the place is very crowded, especially during summer holidays, and the temperature is insane. The place is very popular for Game of Thrones fans, since most of the scenes from King's Landing were shot here. For instance the famous walk of shame of n*ked Cersei down the city stairs. There is a lot of guided trips with GoT themes, and lots of GoT souvenir shops. This is extremely expensive place when it comes to entrance fees (for instance to the city walls), nearby parking lots and food or beverages, so beware. Nevertheless, I strongly encourage you to come here and visit this beautiful old town of Dubrovnik
