Stunning Hotel with Incredible Staff! We had the best time in Dubrovnik staying at the Bellevue! The hotel itself is just 5 Star! From the views to the service & cleanliness! It’s immaculately kept, full credit to the cleaners! The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful & the service at breakfast was just as good! Breakfasts were up there with the best we’ve had selection wise…… great way to start the day with a Mimosa overlooking the sea! The pool & spa was a lovely place to relax! Location is perfect, just a £3 / £4 Uber ride to the old town! Dubrovnik is just incredible & there is no better place to stay than the Bellevue! We will be back!!!!

We stayed in a junior suite. Spacious for two, but a little tight with our son on the sofa bed. Though it was fine given the fantastic location. The breakfast is exceptional, one of the best I've had. Wide range of cold items at the buffet and cooked options a la carte all included. Good coffee which is a big plus for me. We were surprised to find a great indoor pool and jacuzzi which we used on a cloudy day. Nice little private beach too, and staff were all kind and attentive. Perfect boutique hotel, easy walk to the old town too.

First impressions not great as our room had an obstructed view of the ocean. Only 2 with that obstruction in whole hotel. Likely because it was made by a web hotel booking site? The cove was glorious and swimming in the am and after a day of walking was glorious

We ended up booking here last minute and got a deal because we booked 4+ nights, and honestly it was better than we anticipated. It was absolutely beautiful, we could see the beach and sea from our room, which was also great. The bed was large (even though our booking said it was a double - it was bigger!) and the room was cleaned multiple times a day. We really appreciated how great the breakfasts were (it's included), and going down to the beach was our favourite part, we did not want to leave. The concierge saved us on the day we were leaving because we had hired a driver (through an independent transfer service) and they didn't show up, so the concierge was able to get us a transfer at such short notice, thankfully. All in all, if we ever go back to Dubrovnik, we would start here again without question.

This hotel is stellar. From the moment i walked in, the staff were helping me with my bags and welcomed me warmly. Check in was very easy, and they even upgraded me to a better room with a balcony. I loved the view of the bay, and while the bay is public, as a hotel guest you get private elevator access down to the beach. The restaurant was fabulous; i had a lovely dinner the evening i arrived. Of the many places I’ve eaten at in Croatia, this by far was the best, as I’ve found a lot of Croatian food is quite salty for my taste, but the food at this restaurant had quite a nice balance of flavor. I definitely recommend the two truffle dishes, the gnocchi and risotto. The pool was nice and had a view of the sea, and the “hot tub” while warm was not actually very hot. The sauna was great though, you had a dry and a steam sauna. I took a massage as i had slept wrong my first night, and i was not satisfied with the quality as my masseuse used her elbows and it was very painful. The woman who i assume is the spa manager was asking for my feedback and when she saw me give a few 4 stars, she asked what was wrong. I explained everything and she said to come back the next morning for another massage. I was a bit hesitant about it, but the second massage was a lot softer and i was very happy with their level of care and service. The hotel itself is a brisk 15-20 min walk into the old town. You can opt for a bus, but it’s not very intuitive what the bus schedule is. I recommend you download the app as i was able to track the buses this way. Truly wonderful experience overall, and thank you to everyone who made my first time in Croatia and the start of my holiday so lovely and memorable.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The friendly staff were impeccable, welcoming and polite. We had a Classic Twin Room with Sea View which did not disappoint. The hotel's location was ideal. a short walk to the Old Town and plenty of taxi options if we were a bit weary after a day's sightseeing. We used the spa on the first day. Again, staff were amazing and our 70 min massage and facial was fantastic. I can highly recommend the hotel's restaurant Vapor, food was some of the best I have had (I can say that for the whole of Dubrovnik too). A truly five star experience all round.

Best place to stay in Dubrovnik! Really happy with choosing Bellevue! The room was spacious with an amazing sea view (clear waters!) and all staff from reception to breakfast were extremely professional and attentive; also enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the gym. The breakfast was one of the best on the trip; great selection at the buffet but they also had an extensive menu on top of that offering multiple cooked items. It was a very short and scenic walk away from old town and there are also buses running although they were hard to time. Definitely hope to come back here soon!

This hotel does not deserve 5-star rating as it does not meet ethical standards of business. They profit from public property and prohibit public from enjoying it. The hotel placed their sun beds on a good part of Bellevue beach and refuse to rent them to anyone but hotel guests thus increasing the value of the hotel stay and obstructing public access. This is shady business and the hotel management needs to be called out on it. If we had more time here, we’d find a local government to file a complaint. I wish someone actually does it.

When I was in my cab on the way to the hotel, the driver said his friend told him this was the best hotel in Dubrovnik. He was right! Beyond just Dubrovnik, it is actually one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The gym is modern, the pool is beautiful and immaculately kept up, the breakfast is almost mind blowingly large in choice and quality. The building itself even is incredible; built into the side of a cliff, so every view is good. But what really makes this hotel is the staff. They are all so kind and friendly; from the spa to the front desk to the restaurant- they are each and every one so kind and go out of their way to make you feel like family. I could never recommend a hotel more than I could this one.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms are immaculately clean and all the hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located about 20mins walk from the Old Town, which is easily done as it’s all downhill, but I would recommend getting a bus or taxi back up the hill! There are two restaurants and one bar at the hotel. The beach restaurant is open during the day and serves good lunch. The upstairs restaurant and bar has the most amazing view and even though the food and drinks are a little expensive they are definitely worth it. My only minor complaint is that there was no outdoor swimming pool at the hotel. Guests do have access to a small but beautiful private (pebble) beach as well as an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. It would have been nice though to be able to swim and relax outside away from the beach. But again, this was only a minor downside for us.

Where can I start? We were staying here as a group of 8 friends from the UK to celebrate our 50th birthdays. The whole experience was faultless from start to finish. Stunning location just 10 minutes walk outside the Old Town so nicely away from the tourist throng. Beautifully designed decor throughout the hotel gave a very calm and relaxed feel. Very comfortable beds and everywhere beautifully clean. Staff who could not do too much for you - friendly and attentive at all times. Amazing food and wine in the bars and restaurants. When we return to Dubrovnik with our family we will stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable and special.

The Bellevue has breathtaking views of the cove below and the coastline. The rooms are elegant and luxurious. The Vapor restaurant has delicious food- the Adriatic white fish, the seafood gnocchi and the delicious pumpkin soup plus the cocktails

Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with decor that was elegant and calming - we loved the crisp bedsheets and the wonderful housekeeping team, who all worked so hard. We are still dreaming about our room's large terrace, with amazing views over Bellevue Beach, the bay, and the islands beyond - this is where we enjoyed our morning coffee and our evening bubbly, as we watched the glow of the sunsetting! The hotel's location is superb too, just outside of the touristy old town, but still within a 15 minute walk, or short Bus/Uber ride! The hotel's restaurants were a gastronomical delight, with an extensive buffet and a la carte breakfast, wonderful lunch options on the Bellevue beach terrace (the black cuttlefish ink risotto is a must try), and world-class fine dinning at Vapor in the evening. From the moment that we arrived to the time when we unfortunately had to depart, everything was a top-notch five star experience - a huge thanks to Ana (House Keeping), Mario (Vapor Front of House), and Mate (Executive Chief), and their teams, for making our stay so memorable. Our stay at The Bellevue Hotel Dubrovnik was exceptional, we cannot say enough about the property, the staff, the food, and the location - we recommend this hotel, without hesitation, to anyone planning to visit Dubrovnik!

3 star service at 5 star rates Definitely not the experience we were expecting… from the small things like people not greeting you when you enter the hotel, unclean plates at breakfast, waiters just dropping menus on the table when you ask for one, toiletries not properly replenished and no turn down service to not-so-small things like your room not being made by 7:30pm, waiters at the bar being downright rude, night manager not giving a damn about your concerns. The beach club provides a wonderful beach experience but it is definitely not worth it. Location is quite inconvenient as well. This hotel and their under trained staff are a far cry from providing a 5 star experience.

Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik is well located within walking distance into the old town. The rooms are spacious with sea views. Breakfast was excellent with a varied menu to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

We have just come back from staying at Hotel Bellevue. Gorgeous location and the rooms themselves were very nice but unfortunately we didn't get the view we had anticipated, given the description on the website. We booked a superior sea view room and the photo I have uploaded was the view we got. All the other superior sea view rooms had unhindered views of the sea. Our room (414) was right next to the cliff side, on the other side of the hotel and looked straight into bushes. If you walked to the end of the balcony you could see the sea but it was not the same as all the other rooms in the category and should have been sold as a partial sea view in our opinion. Shame as it really detracted from the enjoyment of the long weekend we booked. The hotel staff told us that they were fully booked and not able/prepared to do anything about it.

Lovely staff, especially the restaurant and breakfast team (Viktor was very sweet). Room not cleaned properly over the few nights we stayed there. Room was supposed to have been cleaned but our dirty coffee cups were still lying around. Shower gel not replenished until we asked. Expected more for the price. No apology when I told reception. Beach is not private but wasn’t a big issue, could be in high season. Occasionally non hotel guests would try and use the beds. Not always quiet. Beautiful view from breakfast area.

We loved the Bellevue! The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, amazing view, great beach, and it is in walking distance to the old town. The breakfast is good and the staff is kind. If you’re thinking about booking the Bellevue, do it! You won’t regret it. The only suggestion I can think of is to add a chicken noodle soup to the room service menu. Sometimes after a lot of traveling and dining out, you just want to have a simple soup.

The hotels picturesque location offers visitors unspoilt views of the Adriatic sea so a stay here is a must if you’d like to wake up with the sea view you dreamed of and the rooms even feature balconies for you to relax on and take in your surroundings. As if that wasn’t already enough you can also go down to a private bay with unspoilt beach or drive along the stunning coastline.

A Gem in Dubrovnik: A Fabulous Stay at Hotel Bellevue I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Hotel Bellevue during my visit to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and I must say, it was a truly fabulous experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel until the time of my departure, I was overwhelmed by the charm, elegance, and top-notch service that Hotel Bellevue had to offer. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a breathtaking hall/foyer area that seamlessly connected the beach area with the rest of the hotel. The design was sleek and modern, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly set the tone for an unforgettable stay. As I made my way to my room, I couldn't help but notice the unique headboard adorned with books, which added a touch of literary charm and character. The attention to detail in the room's decor was evident, showcasing the hotel's commitment to providing a memorable experience for its guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the close proximity to the magnificent Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which was just a short 5-minute walk from the hotel. The photos I took simply do not do justice to the grandeur and historical significance of this landmark. Exploring the Wall was a truly awe-inspiring experience, made all the more convenient by the hotel's prime location. The hotel's private beach with tiers was a true sanctuary of relaxation. The crystal-clear waters and the soothing sound of the waves provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding and soaking up the sun. The sun sail above the restaurant area provided a pleasant shade while I indulged in a fabulous lunch. The superb food served at the hotel's restaurant left my taste buds craving for more. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the finest ingredients and culinary mastery. I was impressed to learn that Hotel Bellevue underwent a complete renovation in 2017. This commitment to modernization was evident throughout the property, as every aspect exuded a fresh and contemporary ambiance. The hotel's dedication to providing a world-class experience was apparent in every detail, from the stylish rooms to the impeccable service. In addition to all the wonderful amenities, the staff at Hotel Bellevue truly made my stay unforgettable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. Their genuine hospitality elevated my experience and made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. To capture the essence of my remarkable experience, I attempted to post videos, but they simply cannot do justice to the beauty and elegance that Hotel Bellevue exudes. This hidden gem is a testament to luxury and relaxation, offering an oasis of tranquility amidst the vibrant city of Dubrovnik. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Bellevue to anyone seeking an extraordinary stay in Dubrovnik. With its prime location, stunning views, delectable cuisine, and impeccable service, this hotel is truly a gem. My time there was nothing short of exceptional, and I eagerly look forward to returning to Hotel Bellevue for another unforgettable experience. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 stars)

Exceptional property. Staff superb and very attentive. Easy walk to the Old City and too port if you want to take a high speed catamaran to outer islands. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Hotel located in a private cove with beach and deck. Rooms were well equipped, great views and spotless. Concierge was top shelf for all bookings.

We had an amazing stay here for our anniversary! Check in was quick and efficient, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and our room (and the entire hotel) was immaculate. They made some great accommodations for our anniversary. The beach was beautiful: the bay was lovely to swim in, had clear turquoise water and small fish, with a private sun-bed area. Breakfast was amazing: a large buffet selection with an additional cooked menu to choose from. The saunas, indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect and free to use. The only thing I was a little surprised by was the size of the rooms. We were upgraded to a suite, double the size of standard rooms, and it was still pretty cozy. Overall we really couldn't fault any of the stay and didn't want to leave.

Wow. This is a rare instance where I think the Hotel should upload some better photos of the building and rooms, because the views are stunning. Rooms are spacious, clean and bright with their own climate controls and powered awnings and shades. The breakfast is top-notch. Staff are always friendly and helpful and if they don't find what you need, they'll find someone who can help. I cannot understate that the Hotel Belleview made my stay in Dubrovnik a memorable and amazing experience.

The presidential suite we stayed was the best place I ever stayed. It was spacious, great decoration, and with everything we needed. The service was excellent. They made us feel like home. This is one of our favorite hotels. ❤️

Ideal location sat between Dubrovnik old town and the Port. Service is fabulous, rooms very clean. We had evening dinner in the hotel, it was fabulous, service fabulous and staff very helpful. Breakfast was more than we expected and very good, great choice of breakfast. And just to end the day off, chocolate brought to room! Views are amazing!

The view as the hotels name says is: amazing! We had a suite with balcony and I stayed there for my birthday, they made me a cake. What a great gesture. I enjoyed the breakfasted on the terrace of the hotel restaurant, enticing the view. That have their own beach, the staff was nice and made jokes about soccer and Argentina. I felt welcome there and can recommend the hotel. BTW: the old town is just around the corner, within the walking distance.

Beautifully decorated hotel, very modern, with jaw dropping views and its own private beach! It was easy to drive up to the hotel, Valet took over the parking. We were able to check in early (March), and the concierge helped us figure out a car rental issue. Staff were very attentive. The room came with some local sweets— sweet almonds, candied orange, etc. The free breakfast buffet was extensive— fruits, cheeses, pastries, cereals, juices, meats and a made-to-order hot food menu. We were able to fit overlooking the beach from above. Bed and pillows were comfy. The rain style shower was superb. It is a straightforward walk to Old Town— about 20-25 minutes. There is a bakery across the street. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Photos include comfy bed, private beach, view from room balcony.

I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik has to be the worst one of them all. I booked this hotel based on the Google reviews, however both me and my partner were truly disappointed with the hotel service and amenities. Unfortunately, the hotel is nowhere near international 5* standards and the price we paid was not adequate with the service. This is because: * There was no warm welcome on arrival. Our room was not even ready and the lady at the hotel reception that checked us in was rather abrupt. The reception staff never offered us any water or alternative refreshments on arrival, which I believe is a standard across many premium hotels. * Once we arrived at the hotel room, we’ve noticed that the bathroom amenities weren’t replenished, for example shower gel bottle was empty and the conditioner bottle was open/broke. The carpet was not properly hoovered and the skirting boards were dirty. * We’ve had our room cleaned on one of of the days and the bathroom amenities still weren’t replenished then. I’ve had to ring reception and embarrassingly ask for some toilet paper. * Very disappointed with the breakfast buffet as it was rather poor and unappealing (very limited choices) * The beach staff are not very attentive, on a few occasions my partner had to go to the restaurant and order the drinks himself. * The hotel beach is divided into two sections, one is for hotel guests only and the other is available to the public and is rather busy and noisy. There is no security or access control to the hotel terrace whatsoever. * When ordering drinks in the beach area, staff would ask sometimes if we were hotel guests (this relates to my point above). This question comes across offensive and the hotel should come up with a better system of recognising the hotel guests from the public (e.g. wristband). * The staff doesn’t always greet you when you walk past reception * There was no outdoor pool, however there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi * The hotel supposedly offers 20% off food and beverage (once per stay), however we have never received this benefit. * The wallpaper was peeling off the bedroom wall (room 602) not sure if it’s related to heat. * The hotel did not seem to have a safe hotel bag storage, the luggages were spread across the lobby floor in reception area. On the other hand, the property has a great view and is conveniently located. The old town is only about 25 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel interior is modern and pleasing to the eye.

I would run out of superlatives for this hotel. Simply outstanding in all respects. Location, rooms restaurants and views fabulous but most of all the service. So professional but friendly. A home from home with 5 stars

  • 5/5 Mikhail B. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice hotel that is built attached to the cliff. View to the sound is very stunning! There is an elevator that brings you down to the beach: beach is pebble and shared with public, but hotel does provide sunbeds and umbrellas. Hotel also has a good indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi. Rooms are usual size, with nice seaview, everything was clean and bathroom was very cozy. Breakfast was good, but bacon wasn't crispy. We had few minor questions about service, but everything was resolved fast and friendly. Location vs Old Town is very convenient, only 5 minutes ride by Uber. Bonus: there is a big cave on the left side of the beach, it accessible only by swimming

  • 5/5 Geoffrey B. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel exceeded expectation! The staff was attentive and courteous. The room are modern and immaculately clean. Breakfast is included and the espresso is delicious. It starts at 6 AM and is a buffet that also includes hot choices like eggs and pancakes. Views of the water are stunning. The beach is in a cove like area with easy access. Our room was on the 7th floor (there is only one) so very private, but the walls were angled. Huge room, just watch your head. The indoor pool and spa was peaceful with views of the water. The massage was 5/5! Transport to/from hotel was easily arranged with the hotel and took about 30-40 min.

A little slice of heaven. Service is fantastic. Super friendly. From the view in the lobby, the building built around the large palm, the continued heavenly view from the restaurant and lounge and yes, the view from your room. The room was like a small apartment - comfy couch, balconies in both the living and bedroom. Our room had 1.5 baths and 2 TV's. The restaurant is Michelin recommended. Get reservations. It's the most central hotel to town - easy walk to anywhere. Maybe 15 or 20 minutes walk to Old Town (you've gotta go). A little hilly, so be prepared. Only 2-3 minutes in a car and you can find parking - about $30 for 4 hours. Very beautiful and really humid in August.
