The hotel itself is nice. The room has very beautiful view. Dinner and breakfast are very rich. However I got sick after the dinner but hope it was just one-shot action and it’s not happening there on a regular base. Anyway the stuff reacted quite good and everyone was very attentive. It is highly appreciated. The hotel also has a nice kids play area. However you are not allowed to go to the spa together even if there is no one. Regarding location - it’s not far from the center but only with the car. Bus stop is quite far. Around hotel there is nothing to do. So you have to drive to the city. In general quite positive impression.

The highlight of our Dubrovnik holiday. Our family of four with 2 toddlers stayed at this beautiful hotel, perfectly situated at the best location in Dubrovnik. It's a beach-front property with several cabanas for you to enjoy the sun & scenery. Our favorite area is the Spa which is well-equipped and modern. The pool is decent with free towels to use for the guests. Btw, there is inside and outside pool. There is no kid's pool which is a downside. The breakfast is very good with plenty of quality selections. The dinner is themed so it's different every time. I highly suggest you to take the dinner at the hotel as well. It's very good quality and super tasty. There's a playing area next to the restaurant for the toddlers so you can enjoy your food while kids are playing. The staff are equally professional and friendly, not too much friendly which is good. The one thing I would suggest is to have changing diaper beds in the toilet area & kid's area. If they could add more indoor playground like those climbing ones, that would be perfect for families with little ones too. We would love to come back and book at this hotel in the future.

    1. Actual room doesn't match pictures, in particular balcony is significantly smaller. 2. Our selected room type wasn't available upon check-in so they had to downgrade the room the first night and refused to offer adequate compensation, and overall communication and sympathy has been poor. 3. Service and attention in general (pool, restaurants) is mediocre, not bad but not 5-star worthy 4. Hotel overall is big and nice, great views, comfortable bed, great AC and water pressure, in-room coffee. Bathrooms and overall decor are a little antiquated though

Beautiful hotel in a great setting. Lovely pool area. Lovely breakfast. Huge thank you to Sinsa for going the extra mile and bringing us his own baby seat to use as the hotel didn’t have any, this was so helpful to us!

Fantastic, kind staff that will take care of you.Spacious, beautiful hotel with all kind off goods you need (restaurants, spa, pool). Champagne as a welcome drink. Anniversary cake as a gift from the hotel. In spa all variety of saunas you can imagine (hammam, himalyan salt, stamtąd, hot, cold). Breakfast for the king, all you wish. Seaside view is stunning, quiet area 15 min walk along the bay from the old city.

I was just blown away by the beautiful views from the hotel. Everything was totally amazing friendly staff, fabulous breakfast with bubbles! The hotel is in a good location close enough to walk to old town but also far enough away to relax & have the best of both worlds enjoying peace & tranquility. Food & drinks are quiet overpriced but then this is a 5star hotel so it is to be expected. I will without a doubt be returning again in the future.

Service could be much better, seems like some simple doesn't want to work. The rooms are okay, nothing really special, but when you enter the bathroom, you realize renovation is required. It was simply skipped compared to rest of hotel. So in the end, hotel is not really the money worth. They do good advertising and good pictures. Food in restaurants is excellent, had some snacks at the pool, and sushi, all was great food.

The hotel was so clean and organised, from check in to breakfast, everything worked so smoothly. We had a sea view room, which was worth the extra for the stunning view. The beds were so comfy, the shower was lovely, only small disappointment was the roomcwasn't made up for 3,so we had to chase reception to do this, but it was sorted. The breakfast was amazing, anything your heart desired! Location is perfect,it is an easy 15 min safe walk into the old town,or a taxi is 100 kuna. Would definitely return.

I don’t have enough good words to say about my stay. The staff was impeccable and so kind. They met every need and truly went above and beyond. The place was clean. The location was perfect. Super close to the old town and other small neighborhoods. The beach access was amazing and the pool. The food and drinks were amazing. If you go here, you truly don’t need to leave the hotel. I couldn’t put into words how nice everything was. You are truly forced to relax, your mind can’t do anything but. Milos was so helpful at the pool and breakfast and everywhere honestly. He helps all of the workers and is so honest. He waited for us the next day after leaving something the previous day just to return it to us. Can’t wait to return one day hopefully.

From the moment we arrived our experience was 5 star. Lovely staff and a warm, professional welcome. The hotel has great facilities especially the outdoor pool/bar area and spa. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was exceptional with a view that started every day off on a high. Very well located, only an easy 10 min walk to the old town but, far enough away to escape the crowds and relax after a busy day. I would highly recommend!!

This hotel was a four star experience at it’s best. The rooms were dirty and the housekeeping didn’t even clean the toilet trash during our stay. Food was not good but service was worse. The location of the hotel is great with access to the sea and vicinity to the old town but the building, facilities and amenities were all worn down, damaged, and dirty.

The staff were excellent and were so attentive. The breakfast choice was extensive covering anything you could possibly want. Whether we were around the pool or sat at on one of the outside terraced tables, the waiters were constantly walking by and ready to take our drink or food order as if they were our very own personal waiter! We sampled the spa services and had the couples massage which was amazing. The hotel had a resident pianist playing wonderful music both at breakfast time and around the bar in the evening and for several nights had a singer entertaining us with a selection of songs, some that were golden oldies and some more current for the younger guests which was very good. All in all this made our ‘honeymoon’ stay extra special and would certainly recommend the Rixos Premium to all our friends and family!

I can’t say enough about this Hotel. We traveled throughout the country and there was nothing even close to this hotel. Perfect location with views that will make you melt. 5-star service at every turn (reception, housekeeping and dining). Great spa. Great breakfast. I don’t know what 5-stars means anymore, but if it means anything it is this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and had an amazing experience. the hotel is very well located, a 10-12 minute walk to the old city. the views from the breakfast restaurant are fabulous. The best part of the hotel however is the staff. Everybody is very attentive do your needs. The breakfast is DELICIOUS and plentiful, a special thanks to Oz, the chef, as he prepared us a special breakfast to accommodate our dietary restrictions. A special shout out to Ugur, the manager, he was very attentive to our needs and went out of his way to make this stay extra special. thank you! We would definitely return to this hotel on our next trip.

We spent two days at the Rixos Hotel, a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean and the staff does everything to meet you, the feeling is really amazing. The buffet table is so varied that you can't decide what to eat. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, the employees take so much care to enhance your stay in every possible way. Special thanks to the manager of the Fish restaurant, Darko, who welcomed us in the most friendly and professional way, every Rixos should have such a manager.

The hotel is very beautiful both inside and outside. The beach is good with a pool and really good service. Unfortunately I could use the pool only in the morning hours because it was full of kids in the afternoon. The breakfast is one of the best I experienced in 5 star hotels. Staff is really nice, the room cleaning service could be a little bit more precise, but it's Ok. It's situated ca. 20min walking distance from the old town.

I guess I expected more from 5* hotel. They can not afford untrained staff who can barely speak English or understand the order. It was an ongoing saga with booking a cabana at the beach. Rooms were nice and spacious but toiletries were not regularly replaced. Japanese cooking show is a must visit experience for those who haven't seen one before. Food was amazing as much as the setting with sea view open grill space. Breakfast restaurant had a strange smell but food was various and good. Service could be faster and better. Coffee served not as good. Cleaning of the pool area is something they should pay more attention too. The pool area was overcrowded and sun beds taken early morning by people not around most of the day. Just put their towel and go... Amazing location with great potentials but management should train staff better and keep it cleaner. British tour operator have better price including flights then directly booked hotel guests so expect a lot of Brits and kids everywhere. A quiet corner is far left next to cabanas and stairs to the beach.

Rixos Dubrovnik 5-star-hotel has a lot of great features - as you expect it for a 5-star-hotel. Especially the view over sea is wonderful. But the best feature is the kindness of the whole staff - really everybody is and react always friendly. This i enjoyed mostly. It started at the reception with very friendly employees. Each of them. At the breakfast i was served mostly from Gamze and Daria - both make a great job. As a guest you feel therefore very welcome. And Alla, the lady at the piano, create with her piano playing every day a very nice mood during the breakfast and in the evening at the lobby bar. Thank you all!

Absolutely fabulous hotel! We visited in late October, which was perfect - gorgeous weather and relatively few tourists. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast buffet is sumptuous and varied, and the spa was truly wonderful. We had the place to ourselves, basically. Staff were polite and efficient. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

pros: beautiful location, sea view was great and memorable. Rooms were clean. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. Staff were accommodating and friendly. cons: (1) price is on the high end. (2) bathroom does not have a door (only a door for the toilet). The glass for the shower is opaque separating the bedroom and bathroom. This makes it easy to see inside and not private when showering, maybe uncomfortable for friends/family travelling and staying in the same room. (3) a hotel staff member scanned their card and simply entered our room without knocking, asking if we need any cream for our coffee? it was unusual - they should have knocked at least. Also, given point (2) as described above, the hotel staff member may have had a very unpleasant sight had I been naked in the bathroom…….

This hotel is very nice, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety, and very tasty. Both rooms had sea view. The indoor pool was great. We had a great stay.

Rixos was really accommodating. We got complimentary drinks upon our arrival (party of 8 ladies) we had to wait about 45mins for rooms to be arranged on the same floor. Carlo (Concierge) took us around the lobby area and gave us some info on the hotel. Excellent views and calming ambience . The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view was also excellent, you could see the sea and high hills. The beds were made daily, towels replaced daily. The pool, spa, gym and surroundings were also clean. Breakfast was also lovely, we often got seated in a spacious area. Lovely staff at Turquoise Restaurant. I can't recommend this place enough.

To me, it is not just about the hotel itself, it is also about the staff and the employees here could NOT have been more helpful or friendly, just absolutely amazing. With regards to the hotel, everything was just so beautiful and luxurious; the room was just beautiful and the balcony was incredible, so private but large and the view of the sea was spectacular; The only reason I gave 9 stars instead of 10 really is quite minor and the only 'flaw' throughout and, that is, whilst at my age now, I appreciate soft lighting, there is nowhere in the room that gave the type of lighting you need to put on make up and the independent mirror in the otherwise sumptuous bathroom was very obviously put up by a (tall) man! Other than this very tiny thing, the stay was just so perfect and would most definitely recommend and would book again.

Fantastic hotel with great food, friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel rather than the sea, and was large and very comfortable. The hotel is an easy 15-20 minute walk into the old town - albeit uphill on the way back. The selection for breakfast was excellent and the meal we had in the hotel was a great experience.

An awesome hotel with stunning view. We booked a room for family with a sea view but the staff decided to bump it up to the executive suite when we arrived. I can't say much about the original room but the suite was amazing. It was really clean and spacious with everything you may need at your disposal. Awesome sunrise that really sets the mood for the whole day. Our kids wanted us to move in there and forget about our home. Dinner and breakfast were nice with lots of different foods on the menu. The staff was super friendly and helpful and we had a nice experience with check in and check out procedures. I'm pretty sure that this will be our pick again if we need a place to stay in the area. There are lots of things to do in the hotel as well but our stay was really short and we didn't have time to enjoy all the things it had to offer.

This vacation was wonderful. The hotel and our apartment were amazing, especially the sea view. Hotel staff is always smiling and ready to help and the general atmosphere in the hotel is incredibly nice and welcoming. The food in Turquoise restaurant was great, there were plenty of choices and every day we went back to our room with bellys too full of delicious food! 😄 The restaurant staff is also great and, since a lot of them are foreign workers, very interesting and easy to talk to, not to mention extremely positive - always smiling. I have to mention the spa and the pool - clean, relaxing (especially the massage) + there's something for everyone. This vacation was amazing. I recommend coming to Rixos Premium hotel Dubrovnik to anyone, especially during winter period because it's less crowded and you can really enjoy everything the hotel offers.

It's the second time I've stayed in this hotel and I was satisfied this time as well. Everything is 5*, starting with: 1. the staff who are very kind and professional 2. I give the food 10⭐️ both breakfast and dinner buffet, becuase there are a lot of taste and quality in food. 3. The room is the same as in the photo with a great view of the sea 4. The location of the hotel is very convenient.

  • 5/5 Steve C. 5 months ago on Google
From the moment we arrived, with the stunning views across the bay and the warm welcome from Karlo, our stay was perfect. Our room had breathtaking views and we had everything we needed. The facilities were ideal, the food was great - our waiter (short with glasses and a moustache) was very friendly and courteous. Great pool - very convenient for the City and we swam in the sea in November. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our weekend visit to Dubrovnik. Our stay included breakfast which was first class with everything you want in a breakfast and more! The service was first rate with beautiful views and option to eat indoor or outdoor. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the spa facilities which is open to all guests and included in the room rate.. The spa facility has a Turkish bath, hot dry sauna, steam room, salt room, cold ice room, reading room, cold bath, and hot bath. I will definitely stay at this Rixos Premium hotel on my next visit to Dubrovnik.

Hotel is amazing and definitely deserves its 5 stars. Rooms were clean, food was amazing and there's always someone around to help. Only thing I wish they had updated their TVs. In our room at least there was no way to get Netflix or YouTube even through screen stream

This has to be the best hotel experience I have ever had in Croatia, the staff are amazing super friendly and very helpful! My partner's ID card fell behind a wall at the main desk, they went to the end of the earth it get it out, they cut over 6 holes in the wall to find the card to get it out! This is something you do not see very often. The wellness is very clean and large with many options, the gym is great with all brand new Techno Gym gear. If I could give it a 6 out of 5 I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Also, big praise also to one of the staff that always makes us feel like superstars Mahmut! If you are looking to relax and unwind this is a must-visit and take the Deluxe room just Wow!

I think this is one of the best premium hotels I've ever been. The service is stellar, the rooms spotless and modern, the view extraordinary. I only booked for a day but tacked a few extra on to really get some nice relaxation going on. Even though I'm staying in some rainy days, I'm having a great time.

The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at!! Stop looking at other hotels you MUST stay here. Absolutely breathtaking facility, best views of Dubrovnik and the best amenities. The staff is so nice and looked after all our needs. We were treated like absolute royalty by everyone!

Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. Thank you to the entire staff, especially Mehmet Al. who took good care of us. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the Old Town in a quiet part of town. The spa and pool were incredible. Everything was super clean and can’t beat the view. We wish we could stay longer.

This was once the Hotel Libertas, jewel of Yugoslav tourist architecture which was designed to integrate itself into the Adriatic coastline and although it's been modernized and altered since, it remains an architectural icon in a perfect location, with sweeping views overlooking what is practically a private bay. Though the rooms are a bit tired, they make up for the cheap furnishings with great toiletries, whirlpool tubs and good housekeeping. The vast breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for (plus a sunny terrace), the pool is large and refreshing (and the large deck has a couple of direct access platforms set up below if you prefer to swim in the sea). Overall, it's not quite luxury level but it has "good bones" and is a great deal in the off season.

Great stay, lovely room. Very helpful staff, special mention to Sercan and Maris for their help. Enjoyed the Spa and staff were helpful throughout the stay. Halal options available here too, so 5 stars from me. The breakfast and Dinner were both amazing. Shisha on request in sports bar too. 100% recommended!!

We stayed for four nights 9-12 May 2022, we had to pinch our selves that we were staying here. The hotel is amazing, great modern feel, the facilities are breath-taking, along with the indoor and outdoor pools and access to the sea. The rooms are generous with amazing views of the sea and Lokram Island. All the staff we came into contact where very friendly and accommodating. They always had smiles on their faces and worked really hard to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast experience was also memorable, I have never had so much choice before. I was not used to this level of service and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. I have seen Dubrovnik and may not return, but if I want to book a relaxing stay in a hotel in the world.......I would definitely consider booking to stay in this hotel on its own merits. Superb. Thank you Rixos!

What a wonderful stay! Lovely hotel with such friendly staff. The hotel has great facilities, everything is done to a high standard, the views are BEAUTIFUL, the breakfast is varied, fresh and caters for all. I could not ask for more! I would 100% recommend!

we only used their Spa (day pass for 70€) but that was so great! a really clean and relaxing area with Hammam, Sauna, salt water pool, different cooling showers, ice room, salt room to relax and a huge variety of teas you can order from the very friendly staff. in the evening there were more guests from the hotel coming and also some people who were not behaving nicely (were very loud, went in the Sauna without sitting on a towel) and we would‘ve liked if the staff told them to leave, but they didn‘t. that was unfortunate but still: overall a great experience!

We had an amazing time here. The staff were so welcoming, the rooms are brilliant and the buffet is excellent! The pool was clean and lovely as it was so hot! It was my birthday while we were there and they provided us with a cake and bubbly which I thought was very kind! If I return to Dubrovnik, I will definitely be returning to the Rixos Premium Hotel. 😊

Very friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to surprise my partner and I with a bottle of champagne on our balcony for our honeymoon on arrival. Immaculate grounds and amazing food. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the sea. The air conditioning in the rooms works well and the mattress was very comfortable. Worth every bit of the price to stay here; you won’t be disappointed. Definitely will be back!

We stayed at this amazing hotel in November and absolutely loved it! Breakfast was really delicious. The staff made our stay so much better. Everyone spoke good English. The breach was nice and old town is close by. Definitely wanna come back here.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, very modern decor and the views are incredible. The pool has a lovely atmosphere and we loved that we could jump straight into the sea. However, the service left a lot to be desired for a 5 star hotel. Many of the staff were not attentive or particularly friendly and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention to order food or drinks. Paulina at breakfast was exceptionally lovely though! In addition to this the drinks are priced extortionately and double the price of any other bars in the area (over £8 for a pint). This put us off staying in the hotel and buying dinner or drinks, preferring to go elsewhere. In addition to this we got engaged whilst staying at the hotel which my partner did notify the hotel about. We did not get so much as a congratulations from any of the staff - this again is very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Decent hotel close enough to the old town. The service was incredibly slow and as a solo female traveler, I found that the staff often neglected me in the bar/restaurant area. I once waited an hour to be serviced in the lobby bar while all the middle aged men around me were already on their second drink. No one bothered to come and ask if I had ordered yet. Incredible.

Had the best time! Would highly recommend! Exceeded expectations in every way..the hotel was lovely, the views were incredible and the staff were super friendly and helpful (shout out to Erdinc). The food was also amazing…the breakfast selection was huge. We ate at the Turquoise restaurant one night and were amazed at the choice of food. It all tasted fantastic. My only criticism is that if you want to get a sun lounger in a good spot then you need to get up very early..other than that, can’t wait to come back!

We spent a few days for the New Year and it was perfect. There was lots of champagne and sweets for free and a great concert on NYE. The rooms were clean very well, staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel beautiful and luxurious. The spa area, pool and gym were also very nice.

This hotel is beautiful but off course it is the staff who make the experience. Everyone is so dedicated to their jobs from the housekeeping staff who are always on hand, the bar staff, reception and the porters, all the serving staff at breakfast. Also a wonderful selection at breakfast and light evening meals we really enjoyed the sushi. I must give a specific mention and THANKS to the executive pastry chief who made me the most wonderful diary free cake as it was my birthday whilst in Croatia. There is also a great spa/pool and a hairdressers downstairs which I was able to visit on my birthday !! Overall lovely 5 star experience, and again a big thanks to each and every member of staff who make this experience possible so please don't forget any of them !!

I was recently guest of Rixos hotel with my family. Stay was comfortable and relaxing. SPA, pool and other hotel facilities have fulfilled our expectations. Food selection was really good. Staff are very professional, helpful and attentive. It is highly likely we will visit Rixos again. I use opportunity to thank reception team and other Rixos exployees for making our stay a memorable experience.
