This
would
have
earned
5
stars
from
me
but
loses
one
for
my
visit
due
to
unfavourable
weather
and
some
areas
closed.
The
site
is
huge,
you
could
spend
a
whole
day
walking
to
get
round
every
Zone.
It's
nice
to
see
animals
in
enclosures,
not
cages,
ethically
scores
well.
On
a
fine
day,
the
east
side
would
give
you
fine
views
across
the
Downs,
the
areas
around
the
Penguin
enclosure
and
River
cottage
in
particular
have
great
views.
Plenty
of
picnic
tables
dotted
around
the
site,
but
would
advise
bringing
your
own
food
as
catering
quite
expensive.
Perhaps
my
favourite
enclosure
today
was
the
giraffe
enclosure
as
I
was
able
to
see
them
quite
close.
Bring
good
walking
shoes
and
also
a
good
zoom
camera
if
you
want
close
ups
of
the
animals
as,
given
the
size
of
the
enclosures,
they
can
be
some
distance
away.
I
would
go
again,
but
next
Spring
in
better
weather
and
hopefully
with
everything
open.
