Doctors
are
great.
Receptionists
trigger
my
anxiety.
Been
at
this
doctors
since
I
was
born.
Growing
up
I
loved
the
receptionists!
Always
smiling
and
doing
what
they
can
for
us.
Now?
Prepared
for
them
to
be
rude.
Talk
Down
on
you.
Make
you
feel
like
a
time
waster
and
so
on.
I
understand
their
job
must
be
stressful,
but
their
customer
service
is
appalling
and
they
do
not
need
to
talk
to
every
patient
the
way
they
do!
They
are
not
the
doctors.
In
all
due
respect
we
don't
wanna
speak
with
them
about
our
issues,
and
their
attitude...
its
sad.
I
have
many
years
of
bad
experiences
from
around
18
years
old.
But
my
most
recent
ones
would
be:
Blood
test
about
Nov,
receptionists
gave
me
results.
Didn't
ask
if
I
wanted
a
follow
up
appt
to
further
investigate
my
still
on-going
problems
which
is
many,
now
because
I
cba
getting
them
checked
out
and
am
just
gonna
ask
for
my
medical
files
to
find
a
pattern
myself.
I
know
there
is
one
(I'm
always
in
some
sort
of
physical
pain).
Called
up
in
Feb
for
some
levocetrizine
as
I
have
severe
hay-fever
and
it's
good
to
'get
it
in
my
system
early'.
Receptionist
told
me
'we
don't
prescibe
hay-fever
tablets
you
get
them
over
the
counter',
and
I
had
to
literally
explain
that
over
the
counter
do
not
work
for
me.
One
doesn't
even
touch
the
side
and
cetrezine
knocks
me
out
bad!
I
literally
have
seasonal
asthma
it's
that
bad.
Called
up
in
April
with
Rib
pain
near
my
chest.
Got
told
to
call
back
'another
time'.
Spoke
to
111
who
took
it
more
seriously
and
made
me
go
to
A&E.
Anyway
that's
still
ongoing
pain
that
isn't
what
A&E
initially
said
as
it
should
have
gone
by
now.
And
today
I
called
up
again,
for
a
repeat
of
Levocetrizine.
Receptionist
again
left
me
feeling
uncomfortable.
Said
'we
don't
do
prescriptions
over
the
phone
'..
I
said
automatically
and
confused
'oh,
that's
strange?-'
without
giving
me
chance
to
explain
she
quickly
went
into
fight
mode
'it's
not
strange
we
haven't
been
doing
this
for
the
30
years
we've
been
around'.
I
proceeded
to
explain
about
the
fact
I've
got
them
over
thenphone
the
last
year.
She
says
'oh
that
was
because
of
covid,
we've
got
to
move
past
that
now'.
As
if
I'm
meant
to
know
they've
changed
their
policies?
I
get
no
communications.
I
work
full
time
and
am
also
self
employed
alongside
it
and
I
barely
get
time
to
read
an
article
nevermind
look
on
the
website.
I'm
not
a
mind
reader
and
it
just
made
me
realise
how
poor
the
customer
service
has
gone.
Receptionists
aren't
doctors...
and
their
behaviour
is
just
so
sad!!
My
anxiety
increases
when
I
have
to
speak
with
them
and
something
seriously
needs
to
change.
Their
ETHOS
is
out
the
window,
lack
of
care,
lack
of
compassion.
I
also
highly
doubt
PALS
would
listen.
No
one
needs
sacking,
they
just
need
a
lesson
or
10
in
customer
service
and
compassion
because
believe
it
or
not..
we
all
don't
wanna
argue
the
toss
and
just
want
answers.
So
yeah,
if
you
wanna
use
this
doctors
thats
fine
because
I
cannot
fault
the
doctors
at
all
I
love
them.
They're
so
helpful
when
you
can
finally
get
through
to
one,
but
good
luck
getting
past
the
receptionists
especially
if
you
have
anxiety.
They
don't
care,
it
feels
strongly.
