38€ with discount coupon from a lego catalogue or magazine for 2 kids and one parent with time limit for 3 hours… This is the 4th time we visited the LEGO Discovery Center in Oberhausen over several years. 1st time 6-7 years ago so probably since 2015. Over the time not much has improved… but some things got even worse like the higher prices (OK inflation i get it)… and the time limit?! 3 hours time limit is not OK LEGO! Especially for people with small kids who visit the first time. For us the 3 hours was OK… but we could not see all the 4D movies 🎥 during that time. One attraction had a technical defect why we could only use it once. The overall experience was good and the kids had fun and me as a LEGO loving adult too. Will we visit the discovery center again? NO we will not and spend the money on LEGO sets directly or visit the LEGOLAND DEUTSCHLAND 🇩🇪 or Billund. Would i recommend the discovery center to other people? Yes absolutely if the time limit is removed! 3 hours are really short and people should protest against it. I also left a review on the tablet in the discovery center to explain my frustration about the time limit. Take the combi ticket 🎟 with SEA LIFE together which can be used at the same day or within 90 days for +11€ per person. If you have kids from 4-9 years it’s a great experience. Go with one adult only eventually. Much to see and experience for the first time. Have fun and enjoy the LEGO experience. 😉💗✌🏼

A good place to spend half a day with kids, provided the place is not crowded. The area is not huge and can give a feeling of being squeezed in, if you are not comfortable with the crowd in small area. The food court does not have or did not have vegetarian options when we visited. Unfortunately they were serving not so healthy donuts, as is the case in most of these places. The 4D kino was an attraction for our kids they liked it, the ninja zone was also quite interesting. Overall a good place to spend few hours with kids.

It is an ok place for kids to enjoy. The best part was the 3D movie. Small kids love it. Parking is free in the Centro p3 and p4 parkplätze. Sealife is nearby. Many restaurants, kino and shopping complexes nearby. We could spend max 3 hours inside Legoland with our entry ticket. Maybe it was a Covid regulation. The caffee and few other parts were closed due to Covid . Entry ticket per head is around 18 euros for kids and adults. Not worth the price as per my opinion. I went to Irrland adventure park the other day and paid only 8 euros per head for an entire day. And Irrland is so huge that it cannot be covered in one day. So Legoland is a overrated and overpriced in my opinion. So unless you are a Lego freak, or have too much money to splur ............ 🙂

I bought 2 adult tickets and even though I came to Legolad from another country I wasn't allowed in... because we don't have children. An adult with a child can come in, but without it, they can't... I don't know what the reason is. Despite requests, the service was not empathetic. The offer on Viator is not real and I was scammed. Legoland didn't want to refund my money. I lost a few hours commuting, money on rent a car and spent many hours traveling. It's a scandal. I was simply deceived.

I expected much more from Legoland. For a whopping 20 euro's per person ( incl seaworld) I was under the impression that it would be bigger and spectacular. Its just another kids playground with legos. Parents / caregivers should not have to pay full price just to sit and watch theirs kids play with lego. My 4 year old enjoyed herself, so that what is important at the end of the day. I do recommend this place for kids.

Nice place BUT high price for only 3 hours, with 18,5 per person, including the little kids from 3 years. So expect roughly 60€ minimum. 4D cinema without the dinosaurs, which is a must for boys, that was a downer. It’s quiet clean on the pro side, but overall for the price it could/should be better. The worst for us was the shop, which you must pass through to exit. Imagine a kid after 2-3 hours already tired and grumpy and then leave through the store and tantrums if you don’t buy anything. Also Lego shop is a bit more pricey compared to retail. I can recommend but only under circumstances!

Lego is in every country and they all differ slightly given the specifics of the country. The kids have fun here, there is also a Lego train that you ride and shoot with a laser. All locations are divided into Lego series. At the entrance, we were given a card on which we need to put a stamp on each location, as a result, when everything goes through, you just give this leaflet at the checkout and that's it. Stupid as for me, the children go through this quest with seals, but in the end there is no prize, somehow strange. The children's center should leave positive emotions at the end. Especially lego, but there is no such thing. If a child has a birthday, then he has neither a bonus nor a gift from Lego, nothing, although it would be possible if every day, like in other children's centers, to make mini gifts. And here for a birthday, even the entrance is paid. To summarize, it is worth going there with children, but the question is the age of the child. There are good locations. I liked train laser shooting games. Attractions from Harry Potter, 4d movie.

(Translated by Google) We visited the Lego Discovery Center for the first time during the Corona period and we were a bit disappointed. Much is currently not possible or only usable to a limited extent. You book a time slot of 2 hours in advance during which you can visit the center. Due to the time limit, you feel a bit rushed to experience everything. However, only a certain number of visitors are allowed in. We found that very pleasant. You didn't have to wait anywhere and you could keep enough distance, although we missed disinfection points. You have to wear the mask throughout the center. We really liked the 4D cinema. Everyone was given a small bucket of building blocks to build. With the building blocks, you should really make sure that the construction (e.g. of the car) is really 100% possible. For example, we lacked a wheel mount! All of this costs unnecessary time, which is already in short supply. There was nothing to buy to eat or drink, but you weren't allowed to bring anything with you. Luckily we had a 50% voucher for entry. For the price it was just about. The normal price is much too expensive for the many restrictions. The adjacent Lego Shop is also way too overpriced in comparison, although it is the RRP of Lego!

It was fun! The laser ride rescuing the princess is the high light in our opinion! The location is great. The parking lot is big! This park is not as big as the one located near Stuttgart. It is like a compact version ;) We recommend to visit the park during the low season, this way you have the opportunity to enjoy every activity without waiting too long! The ticket including the Sea Life is the best option. You don't need to visit both parks the same day. You have 3 months to use the tickets.

Mal humorado, antipático, impaciente, a roçar quase a má educação.

(Translated by Google) Amazingly, it was still very empty on Saturday at 10:30 am. We were only there for a short time, as only passing through, but a lot is being done here for the kids to discover a lot and the rides are really very nice for the little ones. The rides are currently alternating, so that only one was in operation at a time is not a problem because you didn't have to wait anyway. Luckily we were able to do both, although the dragon train was better for everyone. Incomprehensible to us why there are no factory stones due to Corona, but the Ninjago reflex training can be used. Without disinfecting the ones after each use, as with the rides. Really well done, but you should also have the workshops or time to build for entry. With an annual ticket, it is only recommended for 1 hour.

A few things were closed due to Corona, but we spent the 2 hours well (especially because it was not so full because of Corona, you could look at everything in peace). The 4D cinema was great.

(Translated by Google) Very sobering experience. Basically nice thought, but totally stressful for children and parents. Cleanliness wasn't that great either ... in the cinema everything was dusty. But what is worst, was the shop on the way out. The prices are completely utopian for children and normal families for even small sets. If you then watch various videos on the internet you understand where the motivation is. But none of this has anything to do with children's toys. Lego lost me as a customer with this business policy. We are now taking a closer look at the new competition like Cobi. The prices are still normal and the quality is right. (By the way, there are always only terminal blocks made of cheap plastic) (Original) Sehr ernüchternde Erfahrung.

Amazing centre for kids, but also adults. Kids have a number of plays and couple of attractions. There's a buffet for a quick snack and drinks. The 4D movie is the last attraction in the centre, much recommended. You can plan your whole day here, inside and outside if weather is nice too. Unfortunately most of educational activities are in German, including the first one that shows how legos are made.

A bit smaller than other LEGO discovery centers, it is a great indoor facility for kids to stay 3-4 hrs entertained. Cafe doesn’t have much options though so might as well go to the mall across the street for a bite!

A must visit place if you are a lego freak... A place to get entertained for the whole family. There are some rides which adults can enjoy.. Small play area for babies and kids... Counter to grab some food.... And the most attractive part is the 4D short movie ....You can spend time building the Legos and testing your creations while your kids enjoy in the play area. Entry fees is a bit high.

Smaller than expected, with limited rides and attractions, 2 actual rides. The building area needs a revamp, the blocks are what seemed to be left over. We were done in just over an hour. A gold ticket with a photo opportunity only to be told that the photo is redeemed online. It's a one time venue unfortunately

Fun for the kids, who get do all kinds of Lego-related tasks like a NinjaGo track and a ride in a Lego Harry Potter merry-go-round. The center needs some upgrading (not much changed in 7 years, except every got older. The center tends to get too crowded very quickly because of small walkways.

  • 1/5 Erika S. 1 year ago on Google
We go frequently since 1,5 years, during Covid was a good option. Now is super overcrowded, I do not if the law allow too many people in such small space. We have a jahreskarte, but the place absolutely does not worth the price. The entrance is around 18 Euros which is crazy. Overcrowded, not so many options for playing, not clean, do not go there. On top super unfriendly personal, and the attractions do not work properly.

Nice indoor mino-Legoland. It is great for smaller kids, e.g. up to 8 years old. Beverages and icebreaker are available. For food, only cakes/sweets, hot dog (Ikea style) and bretzel with butter. The ticket buys you a 4h stay. Attention: the 4D cinema can get cold with all the water and wind that is blow at you, so be prepared. We went at 10h on a Saturday, it was very quiet though it started getting crowded towards 13h.

  • 5/5 Tim G. 10 months ago on Google
A really fun place for kids to spend a good few hours playing on rides, building Lego, and playing in the climbing areas. The staff are great and most of the times we have been they have had some event on where they involve all of the kids. Those times have been highlights for us. The only downsides are the Lego bricks in the tubs could be updated to cooler pieces from Lego Technik and Ninjago! And the internet never works which is a bummer for me since I often take my son there so I can work whilst he plays. Lego Team please please fix this! Otherwise, great place and we really recommend it :)

We enjoyed this place and unlike Legoland amusement Park (or any other big park) where they let thousands of people entering at once, here we felt that the time slots were kind of respected so we didn't feel crowded, nor waited long for the few attractions. Giving 5 stars this time just for this reason, small groups of people were allowed in based on tickets time slot and that I like it!

There seems to be an issue with booking the combined ticket for Sealife and Legoland. Legoland agents have faced this problem with other parents but haven't provided a solution. My children are now deprived of this experience due to the agents' inefficiency in addressing this recurring issue and the lack of initiative from the website's manager, who didn't consider adding a second calendar or a bold/red text explaining that the first date is exclusively for Sealife.
