A great football stadium where real football is still played and not - as is common elsewhere these days - a huge show, whether on the field or before and after the game and at halftime. No, that's not the case here and in this stadium. Atmosphere and fans (plagued by more than 10 years of regional league west) good. The stadium is easy to reach by bus from Essen main station. In addition to the regular buses, there are also fan buses on match days.

There was only one bar restaurant. Opposite the petrol station. Basic inside.It looked closed. But went in. Food was great. Very clean and friendly. I think they have just taken over. Try it.🥀

Brilliant atmosphere a bit tricky to get to

Best club of Germany plays in this stadium. There is very goid beer, Stauder! And also, a must try is the schnitzel.

Well this was our first Football experience in Germany. Great to watch both the players and the supporters. A very different culture here which was great to experience. We appreciated our son's father in-law taking us to the Football

Had a great day, excellent atmosphere v saarbrucken..turned up on the day and brought tickets at a ticket office outside the ground very good value, excellent new stadium , easy to get a few beers and allowed to bring to your seats, would definitely go again
