I had to go back a few times during my stay in Bogota and Peter is always friendly and does all that he can to work around your schedule and needs. Dr Peter is an outstanding Doctor. He treated my son who became very seriously ill while while travelling in Bogota. He quickly identified the cause of his symptoms and began treatment. He managed every step of his care including liaising with the insurance company. He continued my son's care at our hotel following his discharge from hospital and was a huge help and support to both of us at a very difficult time. He also provided information for the Doctors in the UK to assist with follow up treatment. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is fluent in Spanish, English, German and Polish. Like many, I was extremely hesitant about getting care in another country. I thought I might hold out a few more days before going back to the states. It's a miracle I didn't. What I thought was originally food poisoning ended up being a bad parasite. Finally, dehydrated and in agony, I went to his office. He was patient, kind, honest about pricing up front (i dont have travel insurance), took care of all the tests and gave me an IV. When the test came back positive, he had me come back way after work hours to administer my first round of medication. If I'd waited til I was back in the states, I'd have ended up in the emergency room at the very least. And it could have been way worse. Not to mention so much more expensive. My costs here were lower than my ER deductible in the states. I'm so grateful to have found this doctor and I highly recommend you consider him if you are having a medical emergency.

Being from the U.S.A I had my speculations about medical care in a country like this, but Dr. Peter was nothing short of phenomenal. Even with me having to fly back to the U.S in 24 hours he was able to expedite my treatment and make sure I was taken care of even after my departure from Colombia. He not only helped treat my Pneumonia but treated my mother and even gave proper medication for my wife who was also sick but not with me at the time of my appointment. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood my medication timeframes, recovery time and dosages. I highly recommend anyone who is hesitant about seeking medical care to visit him, you will not be disappointed.

Having to access healthcare in a foreign country with an unintelligible language can be daunting at the best of times. Thankfully Peter provides a world class service in the capital. He attended to my knee injury with great care and professionalism and made me feel comfortable despite the unpleasantness of having to be seen by a medic on my holiday. As an English speaker, when I felt sick in Bogota and it was a relief to find Dr. Jasinski's medical practice (FIRST AID International). He speaks English, among Spanish, German, and Polish I found out...He correctly diagnosed my illness and sent me on my way with the right medications in under an hour (whereas most wait times in Colombia are much longer, typically several hours for non-emergency visits, even appointments). He was kind, professional, and provided quick service but without rushing anything. His support staff is the same way. I would recommend him to anyone needing medical help in Bogota. Keep in mind, his fees are a little higher than the average hospital or doctor in Colombia because of the very fast service, test results (a few minutes instead of a few hours) and ability to converse in your language,... but you get what you pay for and the slight increase was worth it to me (and still much less than what I would pay in my native U.S.A.)

Despite the seriousness of that situation he made time for me when I needed help and advice and never once did I feel I couldn’t contact, whatever time of day. I then visited his clean and professional clinic and was treated professionally but not without chat and good humour. If it wasn’t so far from Europe I’d want Dr Jasinski as my GP ...
