Outstanding. Everything is flawless down to the last detail. We had the weekly special pizza and it was great. Perfect egg yoke on top! Wine selection paired perfectly. Canโ€™t wait for the beer to be ready!!

Finally! Somewhere with a thoughtfully designed interior - I see few of these in Duluth. Big windows, tasteful art work, a gorgeous bar with white tile and alcohol bottles interspersed with plants. Unique and beautiful lighting! A place you want to spend time at. Food was delicious, drink was great - and youโ€™re not limited to beer. I had a cocktail and then a glass of Prosecco, my husband had N/A beer. The burgers and fries were delicious. A little pricey ($19 each), but sadly this seems to be a Duluth thing - eating out anywhere is a bit of a luxury, so I donโ€™t begrudge them for charging the same as many others, andโ€ฆ the flavor was great. Will definitely return. Oh, and very friendly service. Recommend!

While LSB isn't brewing their own beer yet, there is plenty worth showing up for! The food was fantastic, drinks and guest taps are well crafted, and for an extra special night, book the Brewtel! Top notch all around!

We visited this establishment a few weeks ago and were highly disappointed. After tax and gratuity we paid close to $75 for two beers (none of which was their own since this "brewery" currently has no actual "brew"), one "salad" and one pizza. We left hungry and literally made ourselves a second dinner when we got home. The $14 salad was so small it was consumed in three bites. The pizza was slightly bigger than a much more affordable frozen pizza, and was much more oily and greasy than anything I have ever had from the grocery store. That had a price of close to $25. I can respect quality over quantity when the dishes are done really well. In this case the food was average, and we both left still with an appetite. I'm about 185lbs. She's about 120lbs. We don't eat a lot at all, and we literally went home to make ourselves a second dinner. The wait staff was wonderful, but I confidently, cannot recommend this establishment when there are a good dozen other restaurants in town that will impress rather than disappoint.

The mushroom toast was so delicious and not what I expected from a brewery! Very friendly staff and owner as well, they treated our group with so much care.

There is something about breweries and pizza that just goes hand in hand. So when I found out that Lake Superior Brewing was serving up NY brick oven pizza, I had to try it out. Before I get to the pizza, I want to touch on the interior design. Whoever designed the inside of this place absolutely nailed it. The wood accents and seating, warm lighting, and white color scheme really gave this place a down to earth vibe. The art on the walls and mural on the front of the building were nice touches as well. They were really able to repurpose the place compared to what it used to be. Now, it has been transformed into this beautiful community oriented brewery and restaurant where people can enjoy the company of others while drinking and eating great food. As you walk in, you can see them cooking pizza and churning out fresh bread with their open concept cooking area. My friend and I were trying a few spots today so we only ordered the Classic Cheese pizza. My general rule of thumb is to start with the cheese pizza. The reason being is that you must be able to execute the fundamentals before I explore the menu further. I typically prefer a thinner pie with a crunchy crust and this pizza matched my expectations. I prefer this lighter style since you don't feel too full after finishing it. What stood out the most for me though was the sauce. It was distinctive, tangy, and unlike anything I have had in the area. There was also a perfect cheese to sauce ratio so every bite was spot on. I personally would have liked the bottom to be a bit more crispy since it was a tad soft. However, since we got there right around open, the ovens may have still been warming up. Overall, the pizza was delicious, and I will definitely stop back in the future since I love everything about this place!

Looking forward to when they have their own bets, but for now enjoying the guest taps! They have a great bar selection for cocktails as well, pictured is the mezcal mule.

Very loud busy place. Pizza was unusual & good, but the best thing was the Oysters Rockefeller! Yummy, it took along time to get it but worth the wait!

Super friendly and attentive staff. The food is top notch, highly recommend the โ€œHot Pepโ€ you wonโ€™t be disappointed! The patio is dog friendly which is a huge plus. Lakeside needed this! 10/10 would recommend!

Kayak Kolsch was very smooth. They have a wonderful outdoor patio where they had a local band playing. All staff members were exceptionally friendly. We will be visiting them again.

I only had a couple of 4 oz beers, Kolsch and Sir Duluth Stout. They were solid, tasted like the originals. I found it odd they they don't allow you to have a taster, which is SOP at craft breweries. Service was good otherwise..place was clean.

Looks cool inside, but doesn't quite capture the feel of a brewery since the seating is assigned (not typical brewery/pub etiquette, more like a standard restaurant). I was slightly confused about having to check in with someone the first time, since I don't remember experiencing that at a brewery before. They insisted on running my credit card through the POS system before I sat down or ordered anything which I felt a little uncomfortable with. As far as atmosphere, I thought the place kind of has a sterile, art gallery feel rather than a place where people get together for food and drink. The food was good, but priced at what I would expect for the surroundings. I assume the in-house brews are great if they are anything like the originals, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I guess my only real suggestion would be to scrap the table service and serve people at the counter. Maybe use those numbers for running food orders or hand out a buzzer. That casual etiquette is what I enjoy the most about going to breweries/brewpubs and keeps me coming back over and over.

We had wanted to try this place since it opened. So took my partner's birthday as a reason to go. Beer was good. Staff friendly and courteous. Pizza terrible. We ordered the 'Vodka' pizza. Crust was flat and un-risen. Could barely bite though it. Toppings were sparse. We've had better pizza from a gas station.
