Perfect date night or even a group of friends. This place has the coolest atmosphere and drinks were one of my favorites that I have ever tried. Can’t wait to come back. Please get a location by the twin cities.

This place should be a default stop if you’re visiting Duluth. My family is in Duluth so I’ve visited this distillery a couple times. (My significant other and I are avid foodies from Southern California and love to try great spots.) For the both times we went, we were super impressed and now argue that Vikre is one of the absolute best cocktail spots we’ve been to. They have classic and unique cocktails that are EXTREMELY good - there is a lot of thought that goes into each drink. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their seasonal or classic choices. If you’re visiting Duluth and like exploring carefully-curated flavors, this place is for you. Don’t miss it! (Pictured: Aphrodite’s Kiss, which my brother ordered. I got the Bee’s Knees, which carried a special wildflower honey taste that I haven’t had in other cocktails of the same name.)

Great Spot! The atmosphere in this place right off the bat is amazing. Class mixed with relaxing vibes. Upon entering, our wait was very brief, and we were offered tastings of their spirits. The staff are very knowledgeable and quite attentive without being intrusive at all. Top notch! Their spirits? Smooth...! I highly recommend stopping in to Vikre Distillery. I'll be returning for sure. Probably with more some friends...

A group of us did a private tasting. It was so fun! We really enjoyed our experience. It’s nice too because they have a wide variety to choose from. (Whiskey/gin/vodka/etc.) The place was very busy for an earlier Saturday evening so it was nice to have the reserved tasting so we could walk right in!!

It brings me no great joy to do this. I always have loved their product, have not been to premise proper but their brand in stores has never failed me until recently. I received no communication from them and have no other course of action. Their products also do not have proper cold processes labeling for them to fo proper recalls. Their cans are not fallible. Recieved a 4 pack from store. 1 can upon refrigeration showed significant product defects. No carbonation and a low fill. No response from distillery which shows they don't care, and I have waited 2 weeks for a response. Do not buy unless you squeeze every can to elinsure your own product safety, especially considering very high store price EDIT: yall, they did a solid. Replaced and sent extra goodies. Respect when a good people stand behind a great product.

had a great experience here with my husband ! We loved trying the different spirits . I ordered a Live Laugh Lift Bridge cocktail as well that was absolutely delicious 🤤. It does get very busy so wait times can be long , but our server was very sweet and informative. Overall : expect to spend some time and money if you want a great experience. Also remember to be kind to your servers !

Vikre (pronounced Veek-ruh!) was definitely worth a stop for a cocktail (or 3). I recommend the tasting to try their spirits straight - they give you a lime, tonic and seltzer to add to them if needed, but they were all very smooth without. The mixed cocktails we tried were excellent. I would have tried everything on the menu if my liver could handle it!

Incredible spirits and cocktails. We did the private tasting and had a great time learning about the process, trying the different spirits, and generally having a lovely time with Noah the bartender. Bonus, the locally-sourced snacks were delicious. Highly recommend.

I've stopped at Vikre almost every time I've been in Duluth over the last couple years. I love their creative cocktails and assortment of vegan snacks! The menu changes with the season and they always feature a delicious cruelty-free paté. I've loved every flavor, but this fall's white ban parsnip was my favorite; the crostini is always so delicious too. The snack box is fun as well and features a delicious cashew cheese log and vegan sausage. For us vegans, just remember to be careful picking out cocktails because they use honey in their herbal liqueur. I've made that mistake a couple times before. It would be nice if they labeled the drinks with a (v) or something, but until then I need to be more diligent. At home I always stay stocked with Vikre's spruce gin! It's such a fun twist on traditional gin with additional botanicals such as rosemary. A g+t with this is always a good option if I'm not drawn to anything on the seasonal menu!

As a non-drinker, a distillery isn't necessarily a place I would choose to go. Extremely pleasantly surprised. There was a small selection of zero-proof cocktails and, unlike most I've had, it's clear that just as much care and craft was put into the non-alcoholic portion of the drink menu as the alcoholic one. I ordered a "This Outrageous Accent" and the flavor was complex and pleasant and the drink was served beautifully.

Vikre Distillery is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates high-quality spirits and a fun atmosphere. They have an impressive selection of craft cocktails!

Stopped in June 9th and had the best time! Haley helped us all order drinks and was SO knowledgeable. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is so fun. Can’t wait to come back!

I am a Duluth native but no longer live here. While visiting family, I took some friends here for drinks. I was warned by a local that it's pricey, and that certainly was true, but I have a lot of respect for what they are doing. The staff took an impressive amount of time to explain things to us, and everyone working here was so friendly. Very cozy place. Great choice of music, too. My "food" rating refers to the drinks.

Absolutely great service! They have a staff that is extremely passionate about the drinks they serve and are always open to giving a recommendation based on your tastes. We enjoyed playing cards and enjoying some great drinks before buying some to take home. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a laid back relaxing atmosphere.

The only place where an empty glass is as beautiful as a full glass. See photos. A great laidback, lounge-like atmosphere. The staff is highly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Our serv-tender was Kristine. She was profoundly personable and was able to answer any question on the menu with grace, humor, and poise. As it is more of a lounge atmosphere, you will not end up feeling "crowded out" on a weekend - that is a great perk on a summer weekend in Duluth!

This place is alright. The staff were nice and the gin was decent. The atmosphere wasn't great in there, but the lounge was well put together and clean. We went to the patio area out back in the parking lot, which was ok. The view of the water and the boat museum from that area was good, however. Overall, nothing impressive. A place to get a drink I suppose.

Loved the venue for sure, with seating arrangements pulled together perfectly to accommodate your group or pair. Drink menu was full of unique drinks, I had a 'A Pear to Declare'. However, my husband enjoyed an old fashioned and said it was the best he had ever had! A great compliment coming from him. If you enjoyed your drinks enough, you are lucky to get to purchase the spirits on your way out the door...don't forget!

I had the best cocktail of my life here:Zero Fox Given. It had a fruity and herbal note that rotated with every sip. My wife and I had two rounds of drinks and each one was spectacular. Great customer service!

Excellent cocktails, their "Eros loves Psyche" blew my mind, the main glass was a symphony of flavors on my taste buds, then accompanied by a tasty but more mellow Velo sidecar, the perfect balance. I have not had anything this delicious and creative in some time. Definitely check them out and sit indoors for their amazing crafted cocktails.

We came up for the weekend from Green Bay and came here two evenings in a row to wrap up the day and unwind. Great vibe, unique cocktails with their own spirits, and attentive service. I really enjoyed the raspberry pistachio last word and strawberry sweater girl. My fiance loved the Scandinavian sidecar.

Amazing craft cocktails in a great environment. It's chic, but not pretentious. Staff were great. Will definitely come back since they change menus regularly.

Not only are the drinks delicious and presented beautifully, but the staff is so friendly and SO kind! This is the only dog-friendly indoor place I could find in all of Duluth, and when we showed up 20 minutes before closing (on accident) they invited us and my dog in and made us feel so welcomed. I highly recommend making this stop!!

Outstanding distillery. We tried Aphrodite’s kiss (amazing and so cute), the Bee’s Knees (delish) and a zero proof cocktail called The Nymph Awakens (coffee based/so innovative). Comfortable furniture, cool vibe. Could not have enjoyed more.
