Whether you care about the big ships that come in or not, they still make an awe inspiring view. That’s one thing we wanted. We got a harbor view and got lucky to have a third floor room. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection and should have something for everyone. The location is just spectacular. Minutes from the lift bridge, Canal Park and the beach on Lake Superior. Free shuttles run hourly. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

We decided on a Mid-October weekend to spend some time in Duluth. After doing some online shopping on some travel sites, we saw the great reviews for this location, and even though it was a bit more expensive than other locations, we booked the stay....and it was a GOOD CHOICE! What a great place! Let's go over the "Goods/Greats"...... Owning a boat the "marina" part was very intriguing, and the location was near the Haunted Ship we had tickets to tour, plus being on Park Point with the lake on either side made it a done deal. Canal Park is within walking distance if you don't mind walking a bit. They also have a FREE shuttle service to Canal Park that is a nice touch! We did get a "land" facing room, which was a little less expensive, but the good news is, it over looks the parking lot! The grounds were well maintained, so it was still a decent view plus we could see our vehicle. Our dual queen room was clean and decent size and seemed "low key modern"! The bathroom was clean and decent size as well. The staff was extremely friendly/TOP NOTCH and did a GREAT JOB! The included breakfast was very nice! Not the stale bagels and old fruit you see in some locations, but eggs, potatoes, and sausage! They do have a "bar" on premise, but it is very small with limited choices. We did not get a chance to use the fitness center or the pool, and when we walked the property, there looked to be a nice outdoor fire pit as well! Overall, very impressive! Now for the "Not so goods"...... #1- They informed us check in was between 4 and 9PM????? With a 10:30AM check out time, that seems a bit late! (On a side note we did show up early and requested an early check in time, and they stated they would try to get us in early and would call us....and at about 2:30 they did call us stating we could check in!!! Nice touch....) #2- I am not sure what they did to the carpet outside our room, but it was WET! Maybe they cleaned it? It did not smell bad or was stained, but it was downright WET! #3- Being Mid-October the geese are traveling south, and they must LOVE the grounds as there was a BOAT LOAD of goose poop all over! Not really the hotels fault, but worth noting. #4- Some of the fixtures in the room were worn. Our desk chair seemed a bit old/used, and our light with built in USB ports was broken. Also, this may seem minor, but some of the light bulbs they had in the room were "cool" LED lights that give off a "blue-ish" tint that made the room feel cold, and industrial! A simple "warm" or "soft" colored LED bulb in all fixtures would make a BIG difference! I know...minor....but wanted to point this out. Overall, I am giving them FIVE stars as we really did enjoy our stay, and we will be back!

Very helpful staff and the hotel was very clean. It was 15 minutes walk to get to restaurants over the lift Bridge, we added an extra night at a reasonable price which was easy to do. The only thing that we didn't like was that they constantly texted us, which after a time got annoying. But everything else was good 👍.

Great hotel tucked into the marina on Park Point! It’s fun and new way to stay in Duluth and away from the busyness of Canal Park. The shuttle to Canal Park is a great idea. Rooms were clean and cute. Patio in back is fun and has neat view. Breakfast is well done, tasty, and has great variety. Staff was helpful and we could tell they took pride in their hotel. We will be back!

Quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. Exactly what I look for in a hotel! Location is great - close enough to Canal Park to enjoy the offerings but far enough away to avoid the congestion. We had a great get-away and would certainly stay again.

My Family & I stayed at Park Point Marina inn. This will be our third time. Every time we come here we feel very welcomed. The hotel is very clean & no weird smells. The hotel has a cozy pool area that my son loved to swim and my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub/sauna. Each day they had a buffet style hot breakfast which is also a reason we stay at this hotel. They offer a big array of options for breakfast. Also they do a "Happy Hour" at their lounge and I enjoyed some drinks and ordered some pizza for the room. The room itself is super cozy with a flat screen TV offering multiple channels. The beds are super comfortable & they supply extra blankets & pillows for your comfort. It was a little too cold to enjoy coffee on the balcony but that is always a plus when you can. We stayed here to be close to canal park and bentleyville and it was the best decision! I highly recommend!

Highly recommend staying here, kid friendly with a little play area outside, swimming pool inside with hot tub and sauna. Huge breakfast, everything tasted great! Paid a little extra for a room with a beautiful view of the water. Prices were not bad at all for the nice, clean room we got. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and welcomely!

Attentive and friendly staff and thoughtful little touches throughout the stay. S'mores bar Mon-Thurs. Hot lemongrass scented towels available in the lobby daily. Happy hour. Lovely patio with fire table. Extensive breakfast options, including gluten free bread! (a special treat for me 🙂) The toiletries smell amazing! We had a nice little balcony facing the harbor bay.... very picturesque. Beds were comfy. A very short walk to the lift bridge and then over the bridge to Canal Park. We watched a few ships come in here and there... very cool experience. The free maritime museum and lake walk are also right there (and so many other lovely shops and food/beverage venues). We were able to check in a little early which was nice. When I checked out, there was an extra charge from the lounge on my bill. Ashley at the front desk helped to look up the tickets, reviewed them with me and then graciously removed the questionable amount. All in all, a very nice stay and I would definition go back!

Service was great! Overall enjoyed our stay. It was a nice hotel, but I would not consider this a “resort.” Perks included the walking distance to Canal Park, views of marina, and complimentary bikes. Rooms (including TV, decor, etc) could really use some updating. Lots of options for breakfast, but food was subpar. A little overpriced, but it seemed like the whole area is overpriced for hotels.

Rooms are clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable. Room amenities provided are sufficient. Hotel provides fun activities like a build your own s’mores bar. Many options for breakfast. Waffles, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, breads and pastries. Rates are reasonable and the location is so convenient. We have stayed here 3 times and plan to continue to choose Park Point Inn whenever we come to Duluth.

I had a fantastic time staying here. Staff was excellent and very nice. Room was perfectly clean, and it was all in great condition. Breakfast was one of the biggest I've seen in a hotel. Walking distance to the canal and canal park. Loved this place! I wasn't aware of the $100 deposit when checking in, so just be aware of that!

My husband and I recently stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there. First of all I made a mistake of booking through a third party and book for the wrong dates. I contacted the third party and they told me there’s a penalty for changing dates. They were going to have to charge me an additional hotel room rate (which was over $200) for changing dates. I was so shocked because I called them and tried to make the change as soon as I realized it was the wrong date. I called park point marina hotel and they were able to help me resolve this issue right away. I was so pleased with their customer service. Aside from that, we really loved our hotel room. We all had our own balcony and we loved that we were walking distance to the shore and local restaurants. We will be coming back!

Really great hotel! We had a spectacular experience at this hotel. We enjoyed the s'mores bar, free shuttle, indoor pool, outside playground and picnic area and shared community space in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was huge and had many options. The room was clean and spacious. We had a marina view and loved it! We are very impressed and will be back!!! My only complaint is that the pizza served at the bar seemed a bit overpriced for frozen pizza.

Rooms are nice, breakfast is good. They charge you an extra $100.00 to cover misc things you may owe. The problem is they don’t give you credit for the $100.00 for several days up to a week! So beware!

We love this hotel! Clean modern decor, good size rooms, nice location away from Canal Park but easy walking/shuttle distance, quality breakfast with numerous areas to eat. Decent size pool/hot tub and outdoor area for kids to run. Highly recommend for families or couples

Rooms were clean and nice. We stayed on harbor side with a balcony which was awesome. The buffet was huge and was one of the best buffets we have had. We really liked that they called after checking in to our room to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely stay there again!!

Loved the location on Park Point and provided a shuttle to Canal Park which was great due to Grandma's Marathon that weekend! Too bad hotel prices are so horribly over-inflated...all over Duluth. So unnecessary. Staff are outstanding with customer service too.

We loved this hotel. We love the Canal Park area in Duluth. Park Point is a smaller quiet hotel, the rooms were beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and clean. We had a Harbour view with balcony. It would be great to stay here in the summer. The pool and hot tub were nice. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely recommend this location to friends!

For the price, you can't beat this place. The beds are comfortable and the color of the room is relaxing. We did get the harbor view and i enjoyed the little patio. Staff was friendly. It's so close to the beach and the famous lift bridge. A lot of little stores, bars and restaurants can easily be walkable in just under a few blocks. Definitely can't go wrong with this place

Breakfast is very well done. Nicely laid out breakfast area, the eggs were hot and good. Much nicer than the hotel with lodge in the name where I stayed 3 weeks ago for meetings.

Friendliest staff, amazing view, and excellent breakfast! We had a view of the water with a balcony. It was in the perfect location to area attractions and food options. Only wish is that we would have stayed there during our whole vacation in the Duluth area.

Great rooms. Very clean. Building is a little older. Awesome views from the room. Nice little breakfast. The breakfast attendant and the front desk staff were very helpful. Would definitely come back to stay here! Happy hour is from 4:30-6:30PM, which is also nice to enjoy.

Our room and view were beautiful I just don’t like the old carpet smell. I found two hairs that didn’t belong to us in the shower. But our over all stay was nice very close to all the restaurants and pier.

For several years this was my favorite hotel. Not anymore as it now has a motel atmosphere. There was gum on the carpet by the exit door all 3 days I stayed. The room is no longer cleaned daily. You have to hunt someone down to get clean towels. The bills couldn't be printed because they were waiting for toner. Really? Go buy some. The assistant manager was told about this and had no empathy. There was a person passed out on a bench by the hotel and staff said oh it's probably one of the rich boat owners. Didn't even bother to call authorities. The price is outrageous for the room. So sad it used to be so nice there. Edgewater is cheaper and a better hotel now. Don't waste your money here

The rooms were spacious and CLEAN, and I mean CLEAN! We could hear the ships horns (as expected). Staff was outstandingly helpful. The only suggestion is the sheets were a little worn and pulled, but I'd definitely book this property again.

Please 🙏 do not stay here! I typically stay at Pier B and I will never stay here again. My 4 year old had a dentist appointment so we decided to make a fun trip out of it. Our room was half cleaned when we arrived. Yogurt in the refrigerator, no Kleenex, a lighter was found on the deck along with a nasty glass of cigarette buts and wrappers. I threw the yogurt away and picked up the glass and lighter so my toddler didn't play or tip it over, I didn't want to throw it in the trash in the room so we didn't smell it. The room itself smelt like cigarettes upon arrival but I'm not much for complaining especially around my daughter so I didn't say anything to the young woman working the front desk. I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I was wrong!!!!! I found out they charged me $350.00 because of the previous smokers. I called for 5 days until I finally was able to speak to Theresa Katzmark, the manager. She was extremely rude and told me she wouldn't take the charge off and told me all I could do was dispute the charge with my credit card company. She told me she thought it was funny we didn't throw the glass of nasty cigarettes away in the trash so that's why she won't take away the charge. The previous manager, Shannon, told me it was protocol to call me before charging me and I never received a call or email and she apologized. Additionally, the pool and hot tub had so much chlorine it made our eyes burn, the hotel bar is the size of a closet with bad wine and cardboard for pizza. This place is a rip off.

I had a lot of fun staying here. One of the best things about this place (other than the location) is the fact that they'll make you a pizza whenever you want it. I was up late drinking with my wife one night and it was pretty convenient to get a delicious pizza without having to leave the building. Overall great stay

Park Point was recommended by a family member and the price was reasonable, at least for Duluth in the Summer. Room was fine and beds were firm but comfortable. Breakfast was good, typical of most hotels offering a hot breakfast. Waffle machine, powdered scrambled eggs, etc. Harbor View room with balcony was worth the little extra cost. Rating would be higher except for the $12 fee the front desk wanted to charge for checking in at 3:35 instead of 4:00. I have stayed in hotels in many states and countries and have never heard of such a trivial bs charge. If the room isn't ready, that's fine. We just wanted to clear the travel bags from our car so we would have room for shopping. Staff was terse about it and we left and came back after dinner. Teens running guest services perhaps need more training on customer service. Sauna was also not operational. At least the hot tub and pool were working. I'd stay again if other similar priced options were booked.

We stayed here one night and had a fabulous time. The room was orderly, well kept and comfortable. The staff were wonderful and you could really tell that they cared about doing a great job. I also found a lot of value behind all the information they provided on Duluth, accommodations at the hotel and the 24 hour room service and convenience center. The pool and hot tub were great and I was surprised they had a fitness center. A wonderful value for the inexpensive price you are paying and you certainly won’t be disappointed.
