Comfort
Is
Key
Here
The
Comfort
Inn
is
located
four
miles
from
the
popular
Canal
Park
area
that
we
came
to
see,
but
is
in
an
area
that
seemed
a
tad
sketchy.
The
first
nice
touch
we
noticed
was
front
row
parking
for
veterans,
which
we
took
advantage
of.
Entering
the
lobby
you
will
be
in
awe
of
the
beamed
cathedral
ceiling
and
the
vastness
of
the
seating
area.
Plenty
of
comfortable
easy
chairs
and
sofas
for
large
groups
to
congregate.
The
large
breakfast
area
and
entrance
to
the
pool
can
be
found
towards
the
rear
of
the
lobby.
The
pool
and
spa
area
were
very
clean
and
inviting
with
several
patio
tables
available.
We
felt
it
was
large
enough
for
a
hotel
twice
it's
size.
There
also
was
a
small
outdoor
patio
with
tables
and
chairs
if
you
preferred.
Our
room
was
immaculate
with
comfortable
furniture
and
bedding.
Good
sized
T.V.
and
a
mini
fridge
were
present.
The
room
was
good
sized
with
a
bathroom
stocked
with
plenty
of
towels
and
amenities.
We
chose
this
hotel
partly
based
on
having
a
Perkins
restaurant
right
next
door
for
our
morning
breakfast,
but
quickly
changed
our
minds
when
we
saw
the
extensive
selection
of
items
in
the
hotel
breakfast
area.
Save
yourself
some
money
by
partaking
in
the
delicious
spread
right
here
in
the
lobby.
We
had
no
idea
how
popular
the
Canal
Park
is
during
peak
season
and
were
shocked
to
see
the
hotel
prices
right
on
the
waterfront.
We
still
we
hesitant
to
pay
what
we
spent
here,
but
if
you
check
around
online
you'll
see
that
almost
all
hotels
in
the
city
are
within
a
few
bucks
for
a
night.
So,
I
would
recommend
the
Comfort
Inn
West
as
it
is
an
easy
four
mile
drive
into
the
Park
rather
than
spend
as
much
as
$600
for
a
hotel
right
in
the
thick
of
things.
