The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast was good enough. The staff were nice. Everything was doing great until the next morning we were on our way to check out, so we checked our belongings that were left in our vehicle only to find out that someone broke into our truck and stole our belongings. We tried to get help from the staff and they said they can’t really help since they don’t have cameras installed by the west side of their parking lot and that they are not reliable for any stolen items.. well this is the only time I’ve seen a hotel with no cameras in their parking lot. Anyway all we could do is file a police report. PS: If you are planning to stay in this hotel make sure to lock your vehicle, take all your belongings or don’t leave anything important inside, and lastly park at the front side. Or just stay away from this place to save you from worry.

Consider looking elsewhere for your next visit. But if you like moldy breakfast ham and stale bread, then this is the right location for you. Reasonable priced hotel for the region, but clearly comes at the cost of serving expired and rotten food.

This hotel is good and the name Hilton stands by it. Though prices were high during July 4th, but amenities are good, gym, pool breakfast !! Rooms are decent nothing special. The staff is good and enough if parking spaces. Kids and family will enjoy the stay. Has Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, CUBS near by so there are all the stores and restaurants near by !!

Good experience! Service was great! However... My room had a street light shining directly into it. The black out curtains don't close completely so there was light in my room all night. As a solo female traveller this is a HUGE safety/privacy concern - not having curtains that close completely seems strange. This was the only issue during my stay, everything else was great!

Room was nice, clean, and roomy. Asked for a crib or playpen for my baby... never got one. And our fridge did not work, and I really needed it to store my breastmilk so it wouldn't go bad. I informed the desk attendant and he called the manager, only thing they said they could do for me was for me to pull the fridge out by myself and push some nonexistent button on the back to reset the fridge. There was no button. I requested a new room so I could store my breastmilk and got one, however that fridge didn't work either. I pulled it out and looked for that nonexistent button... still wasn't there. I had to keep my breastmilk in the ice bucket on ice... hopefully it didn't go bad and my baby doesn't get sick. The desk attendant said he would discount our rooms for the inconvenience, and never did. We were charged full price for both rooms.

I've stayed at this hotel 5 times. Last night I made a huge mistake and left my car door unlocked...this morning I found that someone had entered my vehicle stole my winter coat and all the change from my car. I was parked on the west side of the building right next to the door to the hotel. Just so you know, there are no cameras on that side of the building. Also please know that if this happens to you at this Hampton, the staff that is there will do absolutely nothing to try to help you except give you the phone number to the police and say they are not liable. Even when you explain that you do not expect them to be liable. No offer to walk with me to take a look, no offer to look at other cameras to see if they notice someone with my coat...no, but they did offer on many occasions to cover themselves and let me know that they do not care about me as a frequent customer. I understand people do dumb things and steal things, I also know that I made a huge mistake leaving my door unlocked. I had hoped for some level of concern, an offer of help or even a 'I am sorry that this happened, we take security very seriously and here is how we can help'. Unfortunately, no.

The staff here was absolutely USELESS. They clearly don’t understand that they work in the hospitality industry and their guests concerns are above their own. Imagine being 1000 miles from home in a city you aren’t familiar with, and looking for a nice place to stay with your family. You wake up to find the rear window of your vehicle busted out and laying all over the ground in pieces… We proceed to tell the front desk attendant (who happened to be the manager) if there is any potential surveillance footage. Without lifting a finger (or looking up from the computer) she says there are no cameras on that side of the building and nothing she can do. We then ask if there is a non-emergency police number to file a report. Again she is no help and tells us to instead dial 911. We finally got the situation handled on our own after another 2 hours. Thanks for the help Hampton Inn staff, you couldn’t have handled the situation any worse and Hampton/ Hilton has definitely lost our future business.

Rough start. Booked a handicap accessible room for my disabled wife. At check in they said the room wasn't ready and would be 20 minutes. It took 40 minutes and a follow-up to get checked in. The desk girls were nice and offered my kids water and a snack. Finally got to the room and it wasn't properly stocked. Missing toilet paper and coffee. The room needs updating and the handicap accessible shower has major tile damage. Paid nearly $600 for two nights. Way overpriced. I will not stay here again and neither should you. Find something else. #Ripoff

Pretty standard, mid-range hotel. Rooms were fine, beds were comfortable. There was a barn-door type thing for the bathroom and closet that slides shut, but that means you can either have the bathroom closed OR the closet, but not both. Not a big problem, but seemed like an odd choice. We found a piece of broken glass on the floor, good thing we saw it before either of us stepped on it. When we arrived, we noticed right away that the beds were made in quite a sloppy fashion. Edges were loosely tucked in and linens were wrinkly. Again, not really a problem, just weird. The free breakfast was pretty standard, maybe a little below average in quality and selection. The coffee wasn't very good and they only had artificial creamer. Front desk service was adequate. They did not give us an invoice after we paid. Would maybe go back again. Location was pretty far from the attractions of Duluth.

Nice spacious rooms. The pool was a little small but the hot tub was nice. Definitely needs another waffle maker for the free breakfast. !!

This hotel was wonderful. We took a trip to Duluth with our 2 kids (age 10, 2) . The rooms are spacious and very clean! The bathroom is big. Thr service was great! Very nice employees. The free breakfast was delicious! The only thing the family said they didn't like was the small pool, but that's ok because we weren't at the hotel much anyway, we were sight seeing. But for the 30-45 min swim break it was perfect. Great experience with this hotel.

We had blood on our pillow cases. Like acne blood. Sheets were obviously not changed. Rooms were decent but for the price you pay they should be spotless. Pillows were poor. This hotel is not worth the price they charge. Breakfast was decent but coffee was garbage.

I found nothing wrong with the hotel or the rooms itself, but I had an issue with service. While checking in you have the option to request turndown service, so we went ahead and requested two mornings for a 5 night stay. The first morning we had to remind the front desk and the 2nd time we reminded the front desk the prior night as well as mentioning we had no soap. The next morning, we reminded the front desk again about the turndown and soap and when we came back after a long day, we found our rooms were not attended to. Upon checkout I asked for some sort of credit but unfortunately was told they do not issue credits. I found this very disappointing of how you were treating a member plus for paying over $200/night for a room. The front desk apologized but if you were truly sorry how about some sort of compensation?

One of the beat Hampton Inns I have stayed at. It was very clean and updated. The staff was friendly and warm, which was appreciated during the frigid temperatures. The gym was large with plenty of room and equipment. The location is near many of restaurants and shopping opportunities. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to return to Duluth.

Vicki at the front desk made our stay absolutely wonderful. She took the time to tell myself and my coworker about the area. Thanks for taking the time to be sweet, approachable and make our stay memorable!

We stayed here one Saturday night after exploring the downtown area a bit and enjoying dinner! Check-in was very smooth, we used the laundry room which was very clean and asked for extra towels in the room. The bed was sooo comfortable. In the morning my wife and I got some breakfast and wow, that was fantastic! Great spread of items available, all freshly made. What made the experience great however was the incredibly sweet attendant who was checking on everyone, keeping the buffet items clean and helping clean up after you were finished. The service was superb and she really seemed to enjoy helping others. All around a great stay!

Great spot to stay when traveling to Duluth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very reasonable rates. Breakfast was very good. Lots of parking. Conveniently located by Miller Hill Mall, Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden. Will definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and the rooms and hotel were clean. The bed too firm for me. I think on a different stay I could give a better review but not this time. There were noisy guests down the hall that woke me up around midnight and then the fire alarm was going off at 6am because someone burnt toast.

it's a nice hotel with a pool and comfy blankets with good heating/ac but the bathroom doors are sliding with no lock and theres a gap you can see into the bathroom so if you're staying with a group.

Our room is very contemporary. For a newer hotel we were surprised when we saw our room had stains on the carpet. Chipped paint. The room was dusty everywhere, a white powder look on all surfaces. You would have thought they knew someone was coming it would have been clean. The room did not come with a microwave, which I was really surprised. For how expensive the room was you would think that was standard feature. The desk clerk stated only their suites have microwaves. The coffeemaker tray compartment for grounds was broken so grounds were in the bottom of your cup of coffee. The bathroom shower had no skid texture on the shower floor, so extremely slippery when using. There is one hand bar in the shower to hold on to. Housekeeping only works on certain days. This is the first time we've stayed in a Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel. Probably won't stay again for the price we had to pay.

Small pool but the rooms were nice and clean. Very good breakfast. Nice value for the price. Away from the great lake but near all the shops, restaurants, and malls.

After we spent a beautiful day hiking at Gooseberry Falls, we showered and settled in for an afternoon nap, had someone VERY rigorously try to get in our room. After calling the front desk, they said WE needed to come down to talk about our stay dates. My husband dressed and went down to talk to them and waited 5 minutes for someone to be at the desk. They had no idea we had checked in the day prior. Apparently they double booked our room, as well as the room next door to us. At this point we found out they thoight we had a 3 day stay and we only had a 2 day stay booked.. After the people waking us, as well as 2 trips down stairs to the desk, we finally fell back to sleep (for 10 minutes) only to be awakened by a phone call from the front desk wanting to have us verify the rates for each of the nights stay. This fiscal basically took up a couple hours of our resting afternoon. Very disappointing and no apology or compensation offered. This will be the first and last time we book here.

Loved the friendly greeting upon arrival. Room was nice and spacious. Shower had hot water quickly and drained well. Bed was comfortable. I had a great view of the sunset. Location was easy to get to with plenty of complimentary parking. The complimentary breakfast was good. Only negative was that the computer was down. For guests staying for business reasons, computer access is nice to have.

The room and common areas were spotless. I witnessed the eating area being cleaned throughout breakfast. All of the personnel were smiling and were very friendly. This is a great place to stay!

Very clean comfortable rooms. The king beds are a little bit short for taller people. MN ice breakfast and seating area. Pool and hot tub are really clean and big, almost spa like

Very nice stay! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the area. Check in had me a bit nervous as their computers were having issues after a power outrage, but they had rooms assigned and cards coded and waiting for us. Our room was a king wet bar suite and it was nice and spacious. Everything was clean aside from something stuck in the wetbar drain. We handled that and enjoyed our stay overall. The beds are a bit stiff, as is the couch, but still a room we could relax in. Only down side was the TV is in the middle of the room, not facing the bed or couch, so you have to turn the whole base to get it watchable, which is scratching the surface it sits on. Also the breakfast was kinda hit or miss and the gal that was handling that area seemed annoyed with people in her space.

The hotel is awesome. Roomy rooms, great breakfast (included), super clean. The only problem for me was the price. When I did the reservation with booking.com I saw it advertised as $125 (in all different sites) when I went, my reservation was not there and I ended up paying $175 plus taxes. It was late at night and we were exhausted so we stayed. Yet if I have had more energy and time, I would have complained or gone to another hotel.

We stayed here in January of this year during a weekend family vacation that we took. This hotel is awesome and love the location with easy accesses to everything without the price tag of the Hsrbor! Rooms were great, Our daughter loved the pool, and we had great interactions with the employees. This what Hilton is all about and why I only stay at Hilton properties when I travel.

Nice, Affordable hotel in the Duluth area! Exactly what you would expect from a Hilton hotel. I don’t think that i can think of any complaints (other than some of the rooms not having microwaves). Up to date, modern design. Pool area looks nicer than most found at other hotels, and water temperature is nice. I would highly recommend staying here if In the Duluth area

Nice clean newer hotel. Stayed during an anniversary trip and enjoy its central location. Only complaint was the bed was firm and not to our liking, wish it would have been a pillow top or something that is a bit more comfortable. But hot tub was relaxing, breakfast was nice, employees were nice. Loved the daily paper.
