I
WAS
a
regular
customer
who
resides
in
the
same
neighbourhood
where
Starbucks
is.
Lomondgate
Starbucks
WAS
our
meeting
place
for
our
catch-up
but
it
came
to
an
end
since
I
was
charged
£100
parking
fine
due
to
not
entering
the
plate
number
into
their
parking
device
that
was
"concealed"
and
"disconnected".
Not
to
mention
that
your
staff
altitude
is
not
pleasant,
not
a
single
day
they
welcomed
us,
they
were
absolutely
disengaged
with
us
and
utmost
helplessness
with
customers.
I
raised
my
concern
to
customer
service
(case
number
CS0004736)
however
not
a
call
received
from
Area
Manager,
that
was
the
final
straw
since
then
we
are
boycotting
Starbucks,
and
I
have
already
raised
awareness
in
our
community
to
not
go
to
Starbucks
also
never
use
their
carpark.
To
be
more
specific,
on
28.03.2023
at
8.00
pm,
whilst
we
were
ordering
our
drinks
at
the
checkout,
I
sought
advice
from
the
lady
who
was
in
charge
hoping
that
she
could
rectify
the
parking
fine.
I
articulated
my
concerns
and
said
we
never
charged
for
parking.
I
was
told
that
I
had
to
enter
my
plate
number
on
the
screen
that
device
was
conceded
and
the
screen
was
dimmed/disconnected,
also
the
device
is
absolutely
not
easy
to
spot
within
the
store
plus
it
does
not
bear
any
sign
about
its
purpose,
furthermore,
it
seems
a
part
checkout
unit
and
not
functioning
as
it
was
deliberately
switched
off.
Nevertheless,
the
staff
turned
the
device
on
and
allowed
me
to
enter
the
plate
number,
following,
that
I
saw
the
confirmation
of
parking
notice
until
29.03.2023
/
00:00.
As
you
can
correlate
that
customers
can
park
the
vehicle
for
a
longer
period
of
time
than
90
mins.
Not
to
mention
that
If
I
would
have
stayed
over
next
door
(Malt
&
Myre
Brewers
Fayre
or
Premier
Inn
or
Costa
Coffee),
I
would
use
the
same
car
park
and
I
would
have
never
been
charged.
Clearly,
that
incident
was
the
last
straw
and
I
will
make
speak
up
everywhere
to
make
aware
our
community
at
Lomond
Gate
about
the
plot
Starbucks
set
up
along
with
other
private
parking
company
that
they
rip
off
their
customers
in
every
possible
way.
