I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks for years, enjoying their lattes and espressos as part of my morning routine. However, I was very disappointed by the quality and service of this particular branch. The coffee here is inconsistent, often tasting awful, burnt, or acidic. The prices here are also higher than other Starbucks locations for no apparent reason. The reward system is frequently malfunctioning, making it difficult to collect points or redeem free drinks. The staff are unprofessional, clueless, and sometimes even rude. This branch has tarnished the reputation of a brand that I used to love. Costa across the street is much better in terms of quality, service, and price. I would avoid this Starbucks at all costs and if you need a coffee, go to Costa or use the Starbucks machine at the Esso petrol station, which makes better coffee than their baristas.

First visit here via the drive through. Should have went to Costa. Not busy in the shop, not busy in the drive through either but was waiting about 10 minutes for a coffee. No apology from the lady at the window, not even a smile. I can only assume there is a staffing issue here… let’s just blame covid I guess.

AVOID - PARKING FINE / DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE / POOR MANAGEMENT - PARTICULARLY AREA MANAGER I WAS a regular customer who resides in the same neighbourhood where Starbucks is. Lomondgate Starbucks WAS our meeting place for our catch-up but it came to an end since I was charged £100 parking fine due to not entering the plate number into their parking device that was "concealed" and "disconnected". Not to mention that your staff altitude is not pleasant, not a single day they welcomed us, they were absolutely disengaged with us and utmost helplessness with customers. I raised my concern to customer service (case number CS0004736) however not a call received from Area Manager, that was the final straw since then we are boycotting Starbucks, and I have already raised awareness in our community to not go to Starbucks also never use their carpark. To be more specific, on 28.03.2023 at 8.00 pm, whilst we were ordering our drinks at the checkout, I sought advice from the lady who was in charge hoping that she could rectify the parking fine. I articulated my concerns and said we never charged for parking. I was told that I had to enter my plate number on the screen that device was conceded and the screen was dimmed/disconnected, also the device is absolutely not easy to spot within the store plus it does not bear any sign about its purpose, furthermore, it seems a part checkout unit and not functioning as it was deliberately switched off. Nevertheless, the staff turned the device on and allowed me to enter the plate number, following, that I saw the confirmation of parking notice until 29.03.2023 / 00:00. As you can correlate that customers can park the vehicle for a longer period of time than 90 mins. Not to mention that If I would have stayed over next door (Malt & Myre Brewers Fayre or Premier Inn or Costa Coffee), I would use the same car park and I would have never been charged. Clearly, that incident was the last straw and I will make speak up everywhere to make aware our community at Lomond Gate about the plot Starbucks set up along with other private parking company that they rip off their customers in every possible way.

Extortionate prices £1 more than normal! Staff were lovely but was disgusted at the pricing and the fact that I couldn’t get my points on my purchase as the machine wasn’t updated and not offered a way to get them!

Lovely staff food was lovely but BEWARE after meeting a friend I received a £100 parking charge for staying more than 90minutes Apparently there is a machine you can put your reg in inside Starbucks and stay longer but neither of us saw it and staff did not mention it. You are probably best to avoid this place unless you want the dearest coffee in Scotland !!

No GF food other than Crisps. Coffee is good but service speed mediocre and a 'canteen' atmosphere. Only went here because Costa was closed on 1st January but won't be dashing back

I reckon Starbucks is a very posh place but 5.40 for a Mocha??? For less you get the mocha from Costa and it's even better. I just went to Starbucks because Costa was closed and when I paid the bill I understood why. For that price I won't go again, even if it's the last coffee place.

Unaware there is a 90 minute parking restriction at this branch, found out when fine arrived via post. Their Web page says in the about section, there is free of charge street parking and free parking lot. Won't be rushing to go back here.
