I recently dined at the Fish Shack Sandycove restaurant with my friends, and it was an absolute delight! The location by the sea created a picturesque atmosphere, making our meal even more enjoyable. The fish and chips were crispy and flavorful, the mussels were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the sea soup was a delightful surprise. The staff were not only efficient but also friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I can't wait to return to this fantastic seafood spot!

The fish and chips was delicious. Love the soft and tender taste of the fish. The chips were yummy too, not too oily. The piri piri shrimp was fresh and despite the small portion it was good. The staff was really busy and they didn't smile to us. We paid and they didn't reply a single thank you or how was the food.

The fish & chips were nice, light and crispy and not overly oily. It’s a small spot and it was busy, but service was friendly and the food came out quickly. They had a gluten-free option for the fish & chips for my traveling companion, which was appreciated. Good location.

An absolute gem near the sea. Food tastes amazing and worth the price. Ambience is great. I will keep visiting again for their tiger prawns which is a winner 🥇. Mimosas are great too.

Simply wow. We loved the Fish&Chips and the dessert. The staff was friendly. I am really sad, that we can't come back that easily. We enjoyed everything.

Love this place (see how I avoided the temptation to do a terrible pun there!) Cute little venue, book in advance as limited seating. Super fresh fish, helped by constant footfall. Tostadas were delicious, the king prawns (there were more than in the pic) were crispy and tasty. The fish and chips had a lovely light batter. Only slight problem was chips were not quite as hot...but a small thing Great informal place and always a pleasure

We loved the place! Right in front of the beach! Specialized in seafood... we had a paella and tostadas. Very very good A plus is that they are pet friendly! Highly recommend it

Lovely fish&chips restaurant in Dún Laoghaire. Mussels in white wine cream are delicious, calamari fried very fluffy. All of the fillers (mains) was delicious too, price is fair. Young service team are very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice food and atmosphere. Service could be better. Loved the seabass fish on the bone 10/10 Potato gratan is to die for Shrimps were ok 7/10 So sad they changed the menu and removed the Calamari 🙁
