The room was great , it even came with roommates(dead bugs). The best part was the complimentary breakfast they tried to charge $12 per person for . I have never stayed at a Hilton that made you go through an elementary school roll call system for breakfast. I will never allow any of my friends or family to stay here . Nor will I book this hotel for my employees and stay during business trips. This has been an utterly terrible stay .

Had a reservation for my birthday to spend with family May 16th -18th and checkout was the 19th morning. Everything was fine until we were awaken with housekeeping trying to come into our room without permission then getting a call from the front desk at 12pm just after that saying that an extended stay is not granted and that we needed to check out pronto. There was an event going on (I saw all the guests during breakfast and there were many) and whatever party they were there for bought out our floor and the manager was just not honest with telling us that. We were basically kicked out of our room. Lady manager came up to our room while I was downstairs finding out what was going on and got smart with my wife telling her that we needed to leave (mainly so they could get the room ready for those guests). Very unacceptable. Won't be doing business with Hilton again. I do commend Patrick the assistant General Manager for making sure our needs were met while staying there.

I'm glad I didn't go by the bad reviews by deciding to book here. The front desk clerk was nice and pleasant, the bar tender was awesome. The only bad I have is the breakfast had only pork selections and it was a little pricey. I saw 1 roach in the room also.

My reservation was for 7 days, and I was very disappointed in the service I received. Management was polite but they just did not deliver great customer service. I requested for my room to be cleaned every day and that did not happen. I had to put in several requests before my trash was dump or before I received fresh towels. In addition, the pipes in the bathroom at times sounded like someone was drilling in the streets. My room was in front of the hotel, which a train periodically runs during the day, and it could be frustrating when you are trying to concentrate. I tried to get my room changed, but management could not accommodate me. Yet the hotel was not crowded. However, they gave me some air plugs. Never again, I'm done with this hotel!!!

I was there for an event honoring one of my sister's, Dr. Juanita Simmons. I believe the event takes places once a year. There were a few more honorees as well. The food that they served during the event was good.

Patrick at the front desk was outstanding! He was very gracious and worked to find us the best rate possible. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good, though there was an additional charge for it. No complaints to add!

Absolute waste of money. Don’t know where to start. All trash bins outside including by the pool are overflowing. The elevators in the hotel didn’t work when overheated, whatever that meant. Nothing like lugging a baseball bag and ice chest up and down flights of stairs when there is an elevator. A/C sounded like a Diesel engine the first night and was told no other rooms too move too and no one could help till the morning. Breakfast is very expensive including coffee. Beds and pillows are not comfortable. Commode has a back-flow problem that sounds like it is belching about every 30 minutes. Shower pressure goes from high to very minimal while using it, not including you almost have to pull the knob out off the wall to get it to work. Stayed here for a tournament and every parent has had the same issues. There is a motel 6 across the street that would probably be a better stay. Here for a week and emailed the General Manager, with no response back. They do have a washer and dryer on site but the dryer doesn’t work. Only thing positive is the front desk staff was very friendly. Don’t know his name but he was good at putting out fires. While checking in the three people in front of me were asking for refunds. Should have read the writing on the wall with that.

Father's day brunch $15 and they offered scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage and biscuits and gravy, prepackaged sweet rolls, and yogurt with fresh fruit. Eggs and biscuits were cold. So embarrassed. My "dad" said we would have gotten a better breakfast at Denny's with their grand slam. If your brunch can't beat Denny's, what are you doing, Hilton?

Housekeeping at this hotel, and several other Hilton hotels, is Non^existing. Asked for daily cleaning and towels and toilet paper but received zero. Also upon arrival 2 towels for 4 guests. No reason was given for zero room cleaning just a Surry. Being a hilton honors member really means nothing. You would think asking for clean towels and toilet paper would be a reasonable request. Will not stay here again. Area is a bit questionable also.

It was fine. Not a terrible experience, but there were small things that made my trip to the mid cities less enjoyable. There was no shampoo. I usually bring my own but this one time I figured hilton always has it and they all have thr built in dispensers now but my shower had two conditioners and no shampoo. Minor thing, but a thing. There was a cabinet door that would not close in my room. That wasn't a big deal until I looked inside and there was a large cutout in the wall. Leading to behind the wall and who knows where inside that cabinet. Then all I could think was that anything behind the wall could come right into my room because the cabinet door would not shut. So I propped my suitcase in front of it and decided to try not to think about it. I went to the lobby to buy a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Got it to the room, no dressing provided. Small things. Adding up. My room was next to the workout room. Someone was lifting very loud heavy weights behind my head at midnight. Small things. But it was fine. I will probably not return because there are other places to stay but it wasn't the worst place every.

First of all the 2 African American woman that work in the restaurant in the morning were totally rude…when we made our reservations we were told breakfast was free and when we went to get breakfast they said we had to pay $13.95….we have stayed in way nicer hotels and breakfast is free….by the way my husband and I walked over to Jack in the Box and had a great breakfast and only paid $15 for both…. Second went out to the pool and it was freezing cold and the hot tub didn’t work. Told the manager about it and he said he would get maintenance on it and by the next day it still didn’t work. On the second day there were no clean towels what so ever. My brother-n-law called the front desk and complained about the pool and hot tub and they said when we came up to the front desk they would discount our room for the inconvenience. Went up there and the manager was there and he said no discount and apologized. Staff needs to get their policy together. Third asked the housekeeper for clean towels and never received them, she went right past our room. So I kindly went up to her cart and grabbed 2 for myself. Forth on our first night there they have a large table with 8 chairs and while we sat outside due to being nice the first group were white and they were allowed to do whatever they wanted. The next day we gathered family and we were on the same table and we were told when getting ready to leave to go to our rooms that we were not allowed to come back down there and socialize and have a couple more beers. No one was intoxicated at all not even close. So knowing the fact that we couldn’t have fun with our extended family sucked. We paid good money for our rooms and couldn’t really enjoy ourself because we felt limited on what we could do. We will never stay at this particular hotel again.

I stay at this hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We hosted our company Job Fair there. The staff was amazing and Rikki made sure we had everything we needed and more. Every staff member we encountered made our work there a success. The food was good, and the rooms were well maintained. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was amazing!! Everyone was extremely helpful and if you stay, Alexander at the front desk is your best friend.

Rooms were terrible!! Not clean, bugs, not enough towels and wash cloths for our rooms, along with no air-conditioning. There were many complaints at the front desk from others staying in the hotel as well. We assumed that with the Hilton name that this hotel would exceed our expectations. We were wrong!! Definitely choose another hotel. The only Positive was the staff at the front desk. Alexander was extremely polite and kind. He did his best in assisting hotel guests in the midst of So many problems.

The front desk staff was very nice, however one of the house keepers or maintenance stole my expensive $330 wig. I just made it home and was unpacking my suitcase and discovered my wig was gone. We were just there from 10-3 thru 10-6 for a Leadership Summit. The tub had mildew around the caulk. I reported it to the front desk, but nothing was done. I will not stay here again. I'm also reporting the theft to the headquarters.

Two stars is mostly due to no complementary breakfast. It's honestly ridiculous considering the price for rooms. I have 3 children with me that would have loved just cereal but it was $ 7.50 per bowl! and the hot breakfast was $15 per plate! It's ridiculous for the amount of money you already pay for a room.

Biggest complaint was how easy it was to hear things in the room. Both nights I was woken up around 1am and could clearly hear people very easily. First night I was woken up to whoever was next door to us have very obvious sex and did not appreciate having to listen to the 20 minutes of "relations". I'm just glad my 9-year-old was not woken up. Second night, no one was screaming or being loud, normal conversation. Normal talking and being able to hear the entire conversation is absolutely ridiculous and have not experienced something like this in a Hilton. With how little soundproofing was in the walls/rooms, felt like it was in a Motel 6 or some other budget hotel/motel. Other complaint, food was cold when we had breakfast. Would not recommend this particular hotel, nor would I stay in this one again. I've generally had very positive experiences with Hilton, but this particular one, don't go if like to have a peaceful sleep.

Horrible experience--culminating with us having to find somewhere else to stay. Bottom line, they gave away our rooms to someone else and then tried to charge my credit card! I usually do not write bad reviews, but i had to make an exception in this case. My family and I am traveling cross country with Uhaul trucks so I set up a reservation for us here eith two rooms--and specified we would arrive after midnight. We stopped for gas 45 minutes up the road and called to confirm they were still holding our rooms. They were not. So, we're left standing at a gas station after 19+ hours on the road with nowhere to stay. After almost an hour on the phone with Hilton offering us other rooms at other places only to find out those rooms weren't available either, we found our own solution at La Quinta. Thanks for putting us at risk for a buck Hilton. so, I called Hilton HHonors to let them know how their property treated us...here is their response: Dear Robert, Thank you for contacting Hilton Guest Assistance. It will be my pleasure to assist with your cancelled reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Duncanville. Upon reviewing your case, I understand the hotel team has extended their apologies for the inconveniences caused to you. They have further added that they did not charge you for the reservation. They look forward to welcome you back in order to show the true Hilton hospitality as they will ensure to deliver a smooth experience during your next stay. Thank you for your ongoing loyalty and understanding. If you have any questions, we want to speak to you personally. You can connect with us via Chat Click Here or email. Best regards, Shubham P. Was there for 4 days for a conference. The room was ok with the exception of a place in the ceiling where three had obviously been a roof leak. There was no leaking, fortunately during my stay, even with the hail storm that happened while I was there, but there obviously had been a previous problem as the plaster on the ceiling was in need of repair. House keeping vacuumed the plaster particles that had fallen to the floor prior to my stay but apparently did not report it to management for maintenance. Other than that, and no coat hangers with the metal clips for hanging pants and a faulty ironing board, everything else was tolerable as far as Laquinta inn goes. As a Wyndham rewards member, I've come to expect a certain level of professionalism from Laquinta Inn and Suites. It's not always lived in to, but I expect it just the same. Taking into account these things are addressed I would stay again.

I didn't stay here but was here for a school event. The employees from the school and hotel were so nice and friendly. This hotel is beautiful, plenty of space and clean. The staff constantly were wiping and disinfecting the floors, tables, and chairs. We were there 3 1/2 hours and saw them constantly cleaning.

Did an online check in for the morning picking a room opposite the noisy interstate for a 3p check in. Arrived after 5p and had to go to the desk since my electronic key never showed up before 3p. They advised the room wasn't ready and have me another room of course on the side by the noisy interstate. Room is good but bathroom sink drains very slowly and they couldn't manage to have my room ready within 2 hours of my arrival time...

I arrived late a night and was pretty defeated and drained for the day. Alex welcomed me from the moment I walked in the door, he was a breath of fresh air! His amazing personality and costumer service brightened up my day and he made sure i was fabulously accommodated for my stay! Thank you for having amazing employees like this on your team! I will be retuning soon.

My family and I had an issue with our stay at the hotel. I was perfectly fine with just informing the staff about the issues without any expectations. Alexander who was manning the front desk was very concerned and went to get his GM. I was shocked when Noel Salinas came out of his office on a Sunday morning (not aware of any GM’s working on Sunday mornings). Noel came out and went above and beyond what I would have ever expected. His customer service skills and management skills are top tier. Alexander was amazing as well. I will try this property again in the future just because they work there. Two extremely nice gentlemen.

At the hotel's restaurant my group was served by Cecilia, who was magnificent. She did a wonderful job of making sure we were all taken care of. Very good food too!

The only negative thing is we were on the floor with kids that ran up and down the halls. A couple of them had some manners and polite. Just wasn't expected that that. There may have been a basketball tournament. For the price we paid, there could have been a simple continental breakfast vs. Paying $12.99. However, I should not place my expectations from other facilities that do provide it to this facility.

UPDATE: Since I wrote the review, which was before I checked out, it turns out that a random crew stole the catalytic converter out of my rental vehicle parked in this parking lot. I wouldn't recommend staying here. --------- Perhaps this location is a victim of its own success, but it is a victim nonetheless. It seems like they started a renovation, but ran out of money and had to use unskilled labor to finish. For example, several of the lights don't work, some of the chargers don't work (even within the same faceplate), the smoke detector is hanging out of the wall, the bathroom door looks like it had signs ripped off and poorly painted over, there's something floating in the coffee maker reservoir and the bathroom light switch is half sticking out of the wall. Oh, and spots on the carpet. How is it possible to see sizeable spots on a multi-colored hotel carpet designed to hide spots? It doesn't get cleaned much, I guess? Combine this with some nice high end fixtures and finishes and you have a confusing jumble of a hotel room. This happens at hotels, so it's not a shock. The price is on the lower end for a Hilton, but I won't be staying here again. The only thing really surprising is that its a Hilton. There is no level in the Hilton family of hotels that this would / should be acceptable in.

Our state religious conference was held at this hotel for 4 days 7-10 June 2023. The hotel staff did a good job, however this hotel needs renovations to include elevator maintenance, and conference room A/C maintenance. It is highly recommended this hotel hires armed patrolling 24hr security. My vehicle and another one was stolen in broad daylight, ours was parked next to a handicapped space in eye sight of the front desk. All that was left of my vehicle was the back window the thieves cut out!

I was here because of a job interview. The gentleman at the front desk was great and exhibited amazing customer service as well as the lady assisting with serving breakfast. I forgot their names but I'll never forget their faces and positive attitudes. Once I move to Texas I'll recommend this hotel to everyone that visits me. I travel a lot and worked in a hotel as a teenager so I know great service and because of the I had an amazing experience. Thank you both and forgive me for taking so long write a review that I forgot your names.

The room smells musty and the walls seem to be made out of paper. When the neighbors flush the toilet or take a shower, it feels like we're in there with them. I'm currently listening to the party hosted in the hotel which I'm told will be over at 1:00am. My wife is literally sleeping in the bathtub because it smells better in the bathroom and it muffles the sound of the party. On a positive note, they comped me $9 on tonight's stay.

Very very nice people that work at this Hilton. Unfortunately if you do not like bugs do not stay here! The crickets the large crickets are running rampant I had to kill nine of them in my two day visit. The hotel is old and needs to be redone as the pipes make a lot of noise all night long. Again the employees and the staff were super friendly no complaints there.
