Fantastic course, lots of trees which gives a nice secluded atmosphere. A wide variety of holes with none of them feeling like "filler holes". Pace of play has always been good and the greens are in excellent condition

Brilliant in a word..!!! Great staff, very warm and friendly, cub house tremendous, pro shop well stocked and very helpful staff, This course is the star of show though, testing without being to penal if you stray from the generous fairways, greens superb if a tad slow this time of year. This course is so beautiful and impressive on the eye it looks like a small version of Augusta. Please go and try. Food in the club house and staff service was excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day at Downfield today playing in a senior’s competition, the course was very playable and in fantastic condition-if the greens were your carpet they would be at least £100 per square yard. The staff in the Pro’s shop were very professional and had a well stocked shop. Well worth a visit👍

Downfield is a wonderful parkland golf course which is extremely well maintained. The greens are in great shape and are consistent throughout. The staff is excellent and very welcoming. As a alternate to the links courses, this was a perfect choice on our Scottish golf trip.

Most enjoyable! Pro shop went out of their way to help me and play with a regular member. Fantastic course thank you!

Played in July when staying in Dundee. Not a memorable course but playable. In ok condition. Would not necessarily recommend.

Great track. Very picturesque and a good test. I should have have played off the back tees for the ultimate challenge though 😎 Definitely recommend you give the Pro, Barry (a gent) a call to book your tees rather than using apps. For those who want/need them, they don't have many buggies. Although they're not a deal breaker, I it's best to try and book them ahead of time.

Sunset Bluff offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It's the perfect spot for a romantic evening watching the sun go down. The trails are well-marked, but it can get a bit steep in places. Bring a picnic and enjoy the sunset with a loved one.

Serenity Lake lives up to its name, providing a tranquil spot for relaxation. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities, and the birdwatching is fantastic. The only drawback is the lack of clear signage for the various trails, so make sure to grab a map at the entrance.

The young fellow named Nairn , was very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to make up for the terrible way I had been treated by his collegue, the very young man behind the bar who was rude and insulting to a simple question. The food was lovely and the course spectacular.
