Short review: Extremely disappointing experience from the staff, service, dining room, and especially the food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone! Will take a lot to try this place again, especially with such other great options nearby. Detailed review: The servers do not seem interested in their jobs, are constantly hanging out, talking, joking and not looking after customers or clearing tables. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also uncomfortable due to a general lack of organization of the servers. The food itself was very disappointing. I got the calamari which was undercooked, with soft and non crispy batter, and generally lacking flavor or seasoning. For mains I got the florentine pizza which had way too much spinach, not enough cheese, not enough tomato sauce and the dough was basically raw in the middle with no crispiness to the base at all, extremely poor. My partner got a custom pizza which was similar undercooked, soft, and way too little sauce, cheese, and somehow undercooked onions. It is a little difficult to know how someone could cook such basic food so badly and raises concerns.. When i told the server he had little to no idea of what to say or how to reply and didn't even offer a free desert or discount.

Had to wait for a long time for table. The place was dirty. I was served tap water but I could see dirt floating. Food was ok.

Love this restaurant for a family outing with the kids! All the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and great with children. We always get a table quickly. The pizzas are tasty and the kids set menu is great value for money!

Returned here as the kids used to love this place but it has changed, glasses were dirty, service was poor and the toppings on the pizza were barely there.

Unfortunately this place leaves a lot to be desired. The food is overpriced and the place felt quite dirty. I don’t think our table had been cleaned properly before we were seated and the cutlery on the table in the cutlery holder wasn’t clean enough. There was an old stained tissue in the holder too. The Calamari was way too chewy, tasted like it was frozen and we left most of it. The pizzas were soggy and not much better than a frozen pizza. Definitely will not return. The standard needs to be brought way up.

Very good food, good service. Food portion size needs a little attention. The place can do with more ambience. Had to use a folded napkin to balance my unsteady table that spilled my drink. The toilet area can do with more cleaning.

Dont waste your time. Service was awful, we were constantly looking for knives, forks, salt and pepper, water etc. Place was a mess and food sub-par. Do better

Great food! The pizzas are distinct & have a great taste. I had the honey dough balls, the La Cubana pizza & the billionaire sundae. All were packed with flavour & I had no complaints. The view from the window is great & the restaurant is clean. I went with a group of 7 & we all received great food. Will be back again!

I went here for lunch with a group of three. First thing we walk in the door and we’re surprised about how empty it was only to find out we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Once we were sat down we were given menu. Not going to lie they were a bit difficult to read. Then we ordered, our server was very friendly. Drinks and dough balls arrived very quick and I have to say the dough balls were really nice especially the garlic butter. Mains took a little while longer but not ages. I shared a pizza and someone else got chicken pasta. This time it came with a pizza cutter but last time I was here we had to cut it with a knife because we weren’t given one. The restaurant was not fully clean, some of the chairs had crumbs on them. Overall, it was pretty good, the food was good and relatively cheap, the drinks were a bit pricey but everywhere is a bit like that at the minute.

From 5 stars to 1, in 3 years. King prawn starter has barely 2 teaspoons worth of tiny prawns in it, for €8. Didn't realise "bbq burnt ends" meant the pizza would be severed burnt, literally. Probably the worst choice in Dundrum

I went to Milano last night with 2 teenagers, we ordered dough balls late in the order but I think they went to the table next to us by mistake, then we got the dough balls delivered cold and with a teaspoon of garlic butter, I returned these.. next my sons pizza arrived it was totally burnt at the edges and overdone on top, again the pizza was returned and it was delicious on return. I have to say that the lady member of staff who served our table was absolutely lovely and was very apologetic, this is the reason I gave the 3 stars. The reason I am adding this review is that it takes the joy off the dining experience when you have to return the food and embarrassing for the teenagers as I seemed to be making a scene.....

If you have children, this is the place to go. They have children's menu, and it comes on a paper that they can use to color and draw. It has a great variety, and they also have gluten free options. It is an Italian restaurant. The mushroom and truffle pizza with the Romana base is quite good, so are the pizzas with the hole in the middle that comes with salad. Overall the environment is quite good, and the service is nice.

I visited here for a quick meal in between shopping with my daughter. I got a table straight away. Food came out very quickly which is impressive given the current staff shortages. My daughter absolutely loves their dough balls. As mentioned by another reviewer the toilets do need more attention. I only used the disabled toilet and although generally clean it is in need of a deep clean.

The pizzas were very good as usual. Couple of issues… cutlery at the table was not clean. The glass I received was also unclean. Good to see new additions to the menu but unfortunately the garlic prawn seafood pizza lacked the one vital ingredient…. prawns! Very small and far from succulent as described on the menu. Quite disappointing. Service was first class.

Nice restaurant, especially in good weather. I honestly didn't rate the food. I had a pizza and spouse a pasta. Both were bland and somewhat lacking something. Slightly disappointed.

Staff were very kind and friendly upon entrance which was a plus! They were attentive which made myself and friends feel welcomed. Unfortunately, the tables allocated at the front were full of dirty dishes from previous customers which weren’t removed until we left the restaurant (2 hours later). Ordered the dough balls, beef pizza, and halloumi bites, which were bland, undercooked as it was raw, and tasted with a rubber texture. Was very unsatisfied after my meal as the price was not matched with the food.

A slightly slow service speed but only due to the popularity and volume of customers. With a staff that works hard and delivers delicious meals and excellent desserts and an excellent atmosphere when you walk in the door with a smell of cooking dough that intoxicates from the minute you step foot inside. A wonderful dining experience that I will be eager to visit again

We really like romana pizzas in Milano. We did half and half on our pizzas. My favourite was Padana, it was one of the best veggie pizzas I ever had. We really enjoyed Spicy Giuseppe too. If you are 2, its always nice to share a carafe of white as well.

4 friends that finally managed to meet. Booked a table for 4 at 8pm (Google says you close at 10pm) My melanzane was chewy, my Peroni wasn't as cold as I would like it to be. One of my friends asked for a pizza without cheese and came with cheese on it. She waited for another 10 min. No complaint because we were enjoying the occasion. But at 9 the guy that was looking after us came and asked if we finished and without taking the plates gave us the bill saying that he had to go. We payed and thought that we could ask for dessert and coffee to another guy. We kept talking and at approx 9.20 my friend asked for a peppermint tea or dessert and the guy said that he just cleaned the machine but dessert was available. I could see that the waiter that looked after us was behind us packing brownies in a container. We said no Thanks. And I have ro say we didn't feel comfortable to ask for anything else with such a service. At 9.30 waiter came to say sorry you need to leave we are not allowed to have anyone after 9.30. Sadly we stud up to here very sad news about one of my friends. She literally said. "I am going to tell you something for you to never come back here.... I am sick" Milano really failed us today.and I feel specially responsable because it was my suggestion. Never again!

Delicious hot food! Server Hugh is so helpful and friendly. Sadly they got rid of the carbonara RIP but the pizza and doughballs are delicious! Great restaurant with decent prices and fantastic window views. Not too noisy and good music. You can use your tesco clubcard vouchers to get milano vouchers which is great value.

Booked a pizza making party for the kids, had a blast, the staff were amazing and looked after everything, the kids loved it and not a second went by without some form of activity. Plus, the kids make their own food and eat it. Wonderful idea, highly recommend for a kids party!

I love Milano's. They have a wide menu with a chilled casual vibe. They have a variety of things on the menu from pizzas, pasta and salads. They also have a cocktail menu and offer a great spot for parties or casual meal out.
