Love this place. Lovely food, reasonably priced, and crucially for me, it's not in some mega shopping centre like most places these days. Access is easy. You can park outside the door, grab a hearty Irish breakfast, and be on your way without any fuss. It's very satisfying. 5 🌟

Terrible staff, very rude and ignorant, don't ask for optionals that come with food, also was sat down at a table with my girlfriend that had no cutlery and was never brought menus, waited for over 5 minutes for one and then just stood up and went to get menus ourselves, was not at all busy and the staff were standing around chatting. This has been the case for the last few times here, used to be a regular customer and service used to be great but in recent visits it has just been a terrible experience

My family typically love to meet here but after the way a waitress treated my mother, we will never be returning. This waitress wagged her finger in front of my mothers face over table seating. I can’t actually believe it and this is the customer service standard. There are plenty of lovely cafes around Churchtown but if you want good customer service, avoid Howard’s Way at all costs. Highly disappointed.

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time, especially for breakfast. To date I was happy with service, food, etc. But this morning when I went with my daughter, there were no tables for two. It was approximately 11.00 am. We were offered a table for four which was reserved, provided we leave leave by 12.20. That was fine with us. We placed our order, then a family of four cane in and we were briskly shuffled inside to an indoor table. Our breakfast was served immediately . Spoke to the waitress and owner to say that was so incorrect. After a few minutes of nonsensical talk, they both admitted it was wrong. ( Admittedly after paying the bill, which I regret)! That is not a way to treat customers. So sad to have to put this up, but it's another example of how to lose customers!

Staff were lovely, food was good, owner was obnoxious to me and staff member when card machine had “connection failed” - insisting there was a problem with my card, telling them to take for other customers first. asking to write down my card number and i found it uncomfortable in how he seemed to be aggressive towards one of the waitresses. deal breaker. never going there again.

Read so many bad reviews so nearly did not go. Been twice in a month. Always get served fast and food comes very quickly. My wife loves their pancakes and bacon. I love the full Irish. The individual items are hot and not greasy. The staff are polite. Toast fresh and hot. Maybe we picked the right dishes. Soooo good.;ok sometimes it is really busy. What can they do?? Maybe only those unhappy post reviews. So this is why I am posting. Keep up the great work and food. Only gripe is that there is no way to top staff without cash. What happened to those card machines where you could add 10%

Eggs Benedict was ok and coffee was also fine. Hollandaise sauce probably from a packet but fine. Watch out for overcharging on your bill. We were charged an extra 2 euro for bacon on the eggs Benedict even though theres no mention of this on the menu. A small amount but it would add up if the same is happening to everyone. Staff were reluctant to refund and one of them got quite rude however they did eventually refund the money. They claimed there is a new menu with the updated prices about to be put out (but somehow I doubt this).

Have eaten here 10 or more times, but with increased prices and increasingly poor service I think Im finished with it. Went over the weekend and prices appeared up again. €14.50 for a wrap and small side salad, €17 for a ciabatta. We asked for water and were told they only had bottled water today and it was €6 for a bottle. So for 2 sandwiches, a coffee, a small lunch for a young kid and water for the table we were looking at €60 plus. We cancelled our order and we left it. The place does well given there is nothing else near by, but its on a downward spiral in terms of quality and price and I wont be back.

Really nice big breakfast and lovely coffee but.... Some staff had very poor English, got two out of three orders wrong and we were over charged 😥 very disappointing

Howard's way is a good little spot especially for breakfast. Their "big breakfast" is filling and tasty although tea and coffee not included anymore, they're cappuccinos are delicious using real chocolate on top. Can be very busy at the weekend but service is quick and you are not left waiting.

Topnotch! Chose the full breakfast, with a latte, really excellent quality produce, choice of how I wanted my eggs and what bread I would like for my toast. Service was excellent, lovely young man attentive, polite, great manners... Would make a fantastic manager. Would I return? In a heartbeat❤️

A cute wee find among an already busy setting with many similar options. The outside seating with shelter is truly inviting. Wee blankets on each chair to ensure your comfort is catered for. The staff are a buzz with addressing your needs and the speed of service was impressive while most tables inside and out were occupied. The only oddity was the creepy door man whose only two purposes were to hold the door open for the staff and to eyeball everyone, strange behaviour he could try smiling or stick to creeping people via CCTV where he can't alienate customers. Great wee venue all the same, the waiting staff make up for the oddities and the drinks and food on point.

Went there for coffee yesterday with my wife having walked out of Elephant & Castle because of sloow service and downright rudeness by a staff member. Contrast was like night and day. Very prompt friendly service and delicious coffee. Great atmosphere. Will come back for food.

Brunch prices are fabulous! It’s always buzzing on the weekend but feel a little crammed inside. I would definitely recommend the poached eggs with salmon - hunreal for the price. The waitress was really friendly even when busy! Parking is free around SuperValu on a Sunday which is so handy. You can pay separately at the till - thank you. Decor is a little old but loved

Very slow service, asked for table and staff member walked away. Once we got a table (covered in maple syrup) we were ignored for 15-20 min. Pancake portion small and most of full Irish deep fried.

Really nice reasonable food. The greys had taken over in the morning shift but managed to slip in between them and the lunch crew at 1230. They were in no hurry to move anyone on which is great considering you pay for your food.

The big breakfast is insanely good, especially the white pudding! Also the tea is not to be underated. However the service here has been consistently poor if not awful. We've been maybe 5 times in the last 2 or 3 months and every time it feels like we are a hassle to the staff for asking for food. Often our requests were forgotten and we would struggle to get staffs attention to order/pay and be waiting a long time. From what we can tell the staff seem miserable under a rude manager in shorts and flip flops who does not seem to know how to appropriately interact with customers. Overall I'd recommend as a place to get a good quality Irish breakfast but I would expect poor service.

😠 Waited so long for a simple spice bag take out at 23:00 which shouldn't be a busy time. I live only within 10mins drive to the restaurant so can't figure out why it took so long and why lie to me that the order is out and will be with me in 10mins, twice. Very disappointed.
