Place looks pretty and was surprised to stumble on a pretty nice cafe at a rather quiet town (after camping). Chai tea (leaves) was good and tiramisu was good! However, all our orders (3 mains) had poached eggs and all the poached eggs were too done - the yolks were hard like hard boiled eggs. My hubs and I agree we make better eggs bene at home 😅 Nonetheless, really like the fire place which was nice for a cold morning and service was not bad.

Motorbike rider. Sydney. One of our group long loops. Stopped here twice. 2 from 2💯❤️🇦🇺. Last even better than first. Great specials board. Accommodating for large groups. Chilli seafood pasta was insane. No bumpkin feeds here. Would hold up against any metro Cafe. 💥💯❤️

Had the most awesome food from here, wonderful coffee, great decor, great atmosphere and great table service. Love how they always give you chilled water without asking too! Would highly recommend 👍

Highly recommend We are making lunch at Stella Bistro a regular part of our Hunter Valley travels. Last Sunday we had a seat by the fire while we waited for table - gorgeous! The food was delicious and healthy, and had an innovative French twist with herbs and spices. We enjoy red wine and mostly ask the owner to match our meal with a good red. We have not been disappointed. This is a really friendly and vibrant cafe in the Main Street of Dungog - highly recommend.

Very great small little place! First time I had visited as not from around the area. Great coffee the service was also fantastic and catered to dietary restrictions with absolute ease. Was fairly busy when we were in although everything was timed well. Will definitely try and be back in future.

Having lunched regularly at Stella's we enjoyed our first dinner there with family. The same great service but a completely different atmosphere with a roaring fire and candle lit tables. The food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to re-book!

Just had the most divine Tiramasu, you’d better be quick if you see it in the display cabinet. I’m also a fussy tea drinker and to get a strong cup of tea without it being bitter is a skill. We will be back. Hubby always chooses Stella Bistro for his coffee. We have never had a disappointing meal. Congratulations on your good food and service.

I had fish tacos, which were very good. The pick of the menu. He had roast pork bowl, which was disappointing. Cold sliced roast pork with a boring salad. No drinks menu, but seemed to have most things.

Absolutely fantastic. The lady who served us was very friendly - even added marshmallows for the kids. I had the meatball sub and it was super delicious. They promised the kids kids size milkshakes and then added a whole heap more - generous and warm! Will definitely go back.

This is one of my all time favourite places to call in to stop for a meal, snack and or drink. I couldn't feel more relaxed or welcome if I was at home. The food is always sensational and the service is incredible . I love the atmosphere, like visiting your closest best friend.

Thank you to all staff who prepared beautiful meals for our XMas party. All our food preferences were considered and served professionally. Thank you for packing our desserts and wine for us. Lovely service.

Really disappointed. Read previous reviews and was looking forward to going there. My friend has a Reuben sandwich with the toughest, worst corned beef oive ever seen. My schnitzel sandwich was tasteless. Asked for mayo, but didn't get it. Such a disappointment

👍 Elle and I stopped at Dungog for a couple days and found the Tin Shed opened so a bit of time we'll spent on a Sunday afternoon. We tried the beers and had a chat and look around. Nice smell of fresh cut chips being fried and served was inviting however we had food prior but the staff were doing a g...

👍👍 For a small country town this was a excellent meal. It was the best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. It’s 1.25 hours from our home and we are taking about coming back for dinner again
