Really poor show. I know that you can't possibly match the picture with the actual items but make an effort. Tomatoes returned twice not cooked just picked with a warm glove. Black pudding well over cooked and simply fell apart. Bacon cremated. Refused to pay. Its a nice setting and could be really nice. On a good note my fiancee said the toilets were very nice

Well what can I say. To start parking is very good and plenty spaces. As soon as we walked through the door,it was warm, inviting and friendly staff immediately engaged with us. We had the carvery and it was hot and delicious. Very tasty and well seasoned. We will definetly be back! Great prices too! Yorkshire puddings were delicious.

The only place in Stirling that sells chicken and mushroom pies. Been craving these since I was 3 months pregnant and was so happy that I finally got one and it tasted amazing. One of the nicest meals I've had here my fiance's mixed grill was cooked to perfection and my daughter's macaroni was lovely too. Desert menu was good one of the best I've seen lately as most places just sell the same things now.

Very slow service, food was acceptable, service was just as bad on my previous visit the day before.

Went in for a quick bite to eat whilst doing some evening surveys nearby. Service was a little slow and there was three things we ordered that were unavailable...which we were told about one by one. The wings were unavailable but we weren't told until 10 minutes later. My partner ordered a steak Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing. It wasn't until after the starter we were told there was none. When the mains came, the Cobb salad had no avocado and the steak was missing the peppercorn sauce. When we enquired about it, we were told there was none. So a Dianne sauce was ordered instead which we had to chase up twice. Food was good when it came, but a slightly disappointing experience.

Complete breakfast (typical + Continental) for 9,99. Just continental for 7,99. Drinks included (3 types of juices, coffee and tea) My experience was very good and I can really recommend it for tourists who wants to have a good hotel type breakfast with typical food.

Had the mixed grill, steak was full of grizzle, fried eggs were hard, everything from the grill had chunks of black bits, chips were ok. Service was slow and minimal so no chance to complain quietly. Lots of empty tables on a valentines night tells me the locals know its not great

We visited early afternoon. The place was quiet. That's how I like it. The food was tasty and pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The place was cool, which a a pleasant change to the overpowering heat outside. In general. A welcome break on our journey.

Not a fan of this place at all! The food was mediocre at best - had the cheeseburger. We were "welcomed" by the manager on arrival. He asked if we'd booked, to which we replied that we hadn't (but it looked relatively quiet and it was 8.45pm on a Saturday). Cue a very audiable sigh and he said "I'll just check if there is anything available". He then proceeded to walk off around the corner. We had a laugh at his obviously pompous attitude. He came back a few seconds later and showed us to one of the many empty tables at the window (#5). When he left us to read the menus we counted nine other unoccupied tables!!! So, obviously a complete nonsense to ask if we'd booked! There was a young girl behind the bar who took our food and drink order and she was very pleasant and friendly - I'm sorry I didn't get her name. Wouldn't recommend.

Great Food service was a bit OTT and I did use the toilets but cleaner looks like the sinks were brand new the rest of it though not good so in my opinion get that sorted and it’s a great meal really enjoyed the food

Very poor experience with my family here today. Bought five meals. When the the meals started to come out, the two kids meals were incorrect and 1 meal was not brought out at all. They took back the kids meal and “remade” them about 15 mins later; it was clear they had just reused some of the food, attempting to clean off some of the sauce the kids did not want and the order was wrong again! They kids meals went back again and eventually came back with the third meal which had been sat in the kitchen for a very long time. It was not a busy day and aothers around us had issues too. Food was satisfactory, though overcooked all round and it ruined the lunch that we did not eat together. The management should have offered some kind of refund for the really really poor service.

I took my wife, in-laws and children for breakfast here yesterday. The food was excellent and the service pleasant. Already looking forward to going back soon.

Potato dippers starter was amazing but unfortunately the mushrooms and goujons were overcooked. The "smothered" chicken was really dry, overcooked, the mozzarella was crispy with no sign of BBQ sauce and the bacon was basically incinerated. Came with a very soggy salad. Lasagne had minimal beef with lots of overcooked pasta with burnt edges and chips were again, overcooked. Fish was nice but the bread was quite stale and hard. The whole meal we had was dry and overcooked. Perhaps left on hotplate way too long. Shame, as the flavours were nice and the staff and atmosphere were lovely.

Rating for Sunday carvery. Pros: - Service here is very friendly, welcoming and polite. - Bottomless drinks and coffee machines - Fair prices - Clean restaurant Cons: - Carvery is cold, including veggies and gravy - Gave me the end scraps of the meat. Didn't taste good. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but if you're looking for a decent carvery, this isn't the place.

Staff were excellent and refunded me for chips that I'd mistakenly ordered thinking they weren't included. Location was spacious and comfortable. Food (burger) ok - a bit on the luke warm side but decent on the quality front.

Very quiet when we dropped by with a group of American tourists who wanted a late lunch. The area had a bit of a damp smell so I was worried about how our clients would enjoy the place. No worries..they came out raving avoid the food and beers. Staff great but venue lacked a little atmosphere and could perhaps do with being aired. ?

Went in for dinner as staying in premier inn next door. Had prawn cocktail for starters then steak and ale pie. Was lovely. Waitress was Ashleigh. Very attentive and cheery. Definitely be back.

Went to order my food, came back and someone had been placed in my seat whilst I ordered at the till. Told a young blonde girl, got a sarcastic response ‘that’s nice’. Starter I received was wrong got gouchons instead of wings, didn’t want to cause a fuss so ate them. Burger was nice

Food is OK but marking them down as their fish fryer has been broken for months and they don't seem to care so no fried fish available long term. Also can't get through to book by phone but sometime turn customers away.

Good place for families. Carvery only on Sundays. Service was very slow. Waited hour and a half for the main course. Despite being short staffed they were very courteous and friendly. Wide menu choices. Our veg was undercooked. Plenty of parking. Tables well spaced.

Visited today and thoroughly enjoyed the festive turkey,. Absolutely delicious everything cooked perfectly and excellent value for money for anyone especially family's. The manager even went out his way to make a delicious milkshak with sprinkles for my son who is very very fussy and brought it to our table. I have been coming here for 15years and my husband even longer time when it was a farmer and wife owned the pub and can I finally see this lovely place coming back it's original brilliance that has brought us here for many years. Long may it continue Will be back very very soon

Absolutely the worst I've had and we have had some bad ones at Brewers Fayres recently. Burger with mac cheese - burger was like a block of dry chewy carbon, mac on top was tasteless and pasta was dry, roll was soggy, chips were cold and full of grease. Seems to have been very poor luck and coincidence but Brewers Fayres in Scotland have been god awful. Maybe it has something to do with the fact you pay for your meal at point of ordering Photo below does not do it justice

Quiet spacious restaurant. Great choice of food and drink. Food was great tasting and was delivered quick as well. Located right next to a Premier Inn

Amazing breakfast, great value, warm and welcoming staff who can't do enough for you. Been my go to home from home for breakfast while we have been back up here visiting our old haunts. Highly recommended. Stayed in the nearby Travelodge minutes away by car.

A really good carvery. We'll seasoned fresh and a great selection. The chef is obviously working hard to produce tasty food. Atmosphere was a little lacking but it was just right for a rainy afternoon.

Booked a table with no hassle. Staff were friendly and helpful and clean restaurant. Ordered food and didn't have to wait ages for it. Meals were lovely the fish was huge. Great value for money

The food was awful we asked for a steak medium rare and it was widely over cooked. As well the cheese gravy fries they advertise as share size was not fit to share between 2 people.

I have no quibble about the food or the service as both were ok. However, the place was empty, the online ordering facility was offline which meant ordering at the bar and the coffee was out a self service machine. None of these are a problem just the overall effect was no atmosphere and a feeling it could have been better.

Came here a few times now for breakfast. Continental is great selection of yoghurts mixed berries and fruit in the cooler. Croissant, pancake and muffins in the bakery including bread. juices laid out of apple, cranberry and orange. The fried breakfast itself is not the best but not the worst I've had. Definitely don't like the black pudding that's not been nice anytime Ive had it so I avoided it the last time. There is veggie options and the veggie sausage is lovely. There's a little corner with all sorts of teas and instant coffee but also a cappuccino /latte maker too. The staff are always welcoming, polite and friendly. Would recommend a visit if your looking here for reviews.

Lovely customer service, fast, efficient and safe. Food about standard for price and something quick and easy. Winner with toddlers and impatient men alike .

Awful. The only good thing is they were able to take us without booking. Aside from that, little redeeming features. We ordered on the app, but during the process it went past 18:00 and because the menu changed it kicked two of our orders out of the cart and had to put them back in. We then waited. And waited. And waited. And watched a few people come, order, eat, and leave before we got our food. It finally arrived over an hour after ordering. And it was wrong. My sons meal was fish nuggets instead of chicken nuggets. The chips weren’t with the meal. The kids starters never arrived. My daughters pizza was burned. The kids Mac and cheese was tasteless. My wife’s curry wasn’t very good. I ended up sharing my fish and chips with my other daughter who wouldn’t eat the Mac and cheese, one of her favourite meals. We had to ask for the ice cream that came with the kids meals. Again, waiting and waiting and waiting for it. Never going back here again. Very unhappy. Only good thing was we got some drinks because we were waiting so long. Small gesture. But even then we had to ask for everything.

Given the circumstances when I came here I was very pleased with the attitude of all staff. Stuck by thier current guidelines. Food was lovely. Place was nice and clean and well laid out.
