๐๐ Incredible day! 8 year old grand daughter's first Munro & ascent up the Ptarmigan route. Absolutely stunning, so lucky to experience an inversion! Loved this hill, nice to manage a loop instead of there & back.
Definitely be doing more of Scotland's gorgeous hills in the years to come with these 2....

Smokeys @ 17
Fast food restaurant
๐๐ We arrived in Stirling very hungry so decided to try Smokey's. Their burgers were very good, fries were plentiful and sauces were delicious. I ordered the K2 burger with two patties and it was delicious. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and dress is casual.

Stirling Old Bridge
Bridge
๐๐ This place would always get a five star for its history aspect. To visit it there's a main road you can park a car on. Plenty space for wheel chair users to cross the bridge. The forth river runs under neath the bridge. Photos attached. Just in general a lovely place to visit with the kids tell them...

The Whangie
Tourist attraction
๐๐ Great wee walk 40 mins each way, quite steep at the start but it levels out pretty much for most of the walk. Bring waterproof shoes as it can be very boggy. Stunning views of Loch Lomond on a nice day, and make sure you persist to the unique rocks formation at the end of the walk.
