A Hyperbaric chamber was something I had heard about but never pursued. When the opportunity came up to visit George at Mountain Hyperbarics, I took it. George Glass is an authority on what these chambers can do for the improved health of our community. In May '22 I was in a T-bone collision and hit my head pretty hard. The typical head injury signs where there, moodiness, mental fog, inability to focus... As soon as my ribs healed enough for me to move around, I upped my sessions to 5x a week for 4 weeks. I can’t thank Mountain Hyperbarics enough for the ability to fly into town and resolve all of my altitude acclimation issues with one mild hyperbaric oxygen treatment. I live at sea level and experience altitude issues when I hike at high altitudes. Not this trip! I had my mHBOT treatment this past Wednesday, then made 3 separate summits just shy of 13k feet the next morning; all I can say is amazing! George and Christian were the best, and made the whole experience great! I would absolutely recommend Mountain Hyperbarics for anyone that experiences altitude related symptoms or issues!

Last year, I awoke one morning with nothing but a black cloud in my left eye. The diagnosis was rapid onset wet macular degeneration due to a bleed into my eye from a leaking blood vessel. The proscribed treatment was an injection into my eye every three to twelve weeks for the rest of my life. Not only have I not needed injections now for a year, but the distortion from the macular degeneration has improved. I credit Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for this. It is at the top of my health care treatment protocols.

I went to Mountain Hyperbarics to help improve some aches and pains from old injuries as well as improve my thyroid function, energy, and overall health. I always feel really good at sea level, and so I thought Oxygen Therapy may be a good option for me to try. I purchased a 10 pack treatment plan for the Mild Dive option, which is their soft sided hyperbaric chamber. I didn't feel like my issues were as serious and so I chose that option over the regular chamber. That said, after completing my 10 days, (which I did try to do back to back), I do feel like I received some good benefits from the treatment. Overall, I have been feeling great, and I have more energy. My mood seems like it has had a positive improvement too. My ankle injury is healing nicely as well. I also had some lymph node cysts on my neck that were taking a long time to go away when I first came in and those have healed and are now gone! I would definitely recommend Mountain Hyperbarics to expand your overall health and improve healing time! I think for mild health concerns, the soft sided chamber works extremely well and certainly worth a try. For more serious health challenges, I would absolutely look into doing the regular chamber, as you can increase your pressure margin by a lot more than the soft sided one. The amount of pressure is a key component in reducing inflammation. Overall, I think Oxygen therapy should be a consideration for your health journey! The owners, George and Lori Ann Glass are extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgable to guide you in the process of choosing which treatment plan will be best pursued. I felt very cared for by them, and they answered all of my questions. I also was very comfortable in the chamber itself and I just took a nap every time, but you can also read a book in there too. The results from treatment at Mountain Hyperbarics were amazing. I used hyperbaric oxygen as part of a protocol to improve my vision and it went from 20/60 to 20/40. I went from not being able to drive legally to being totally at east behind the steering wheel of a car. Mountain Hyperbarics is totally clean, well run, and a friendly place to be. It is a VERY safe treatment and my treatment of choice. My vision may get better yet before all is said and done. If you have poor vision you might give it a try and see if it could help your vision as well.

Mountain Hyperbarics has been my answer to managing the effects of Long Covid which has resulted in Adult Onset Asthma. The cumulative effects of treatments and flexibility of the staff has resulted in increased lung capacity and put me on the road to recovery.
