5/5 Star Knight (. 1 year ago on Google
Spent
two
nights
at
the
Choctaw
Casino
while
on
vacation
in
Texas.
It
was
well
worth
the
hour
or
so
drive,
north.
Absolutely
one
of
the
best
casino
hotels
around
and
it
would
rival
many
Las
Vegas
casino
hotels.
Stayed
in
the
Sky
Tower
(the
newest
part)
and
it
was
terrific.
Rooms
were
immaculate,
beds
were
very
comfy,
bathroom
was
beautiful,
furnishings
were
excellent.
My
room
(15306)
overlooked
the
pools
from
the
ceiling
to
floor
window
from
the
15th
floor.
Other
family
members
stayed
on
the
6th
floor
(6308)
and
had
a
balcony
to
relax
on
and
take
in
the
pool
views,
however,
other
than
the
palm
tree
lined
pools,
there
isn't
much
to
see
except
the
hay
fields
and
expressway.
Still,
it
was
a
decent
view
of
the
surrounding
area.
Definitely
a
country
scene.
The
hotel
and
casino
staff
were
terrific,
the
entire
hotel
and
casino
is
always
clean.
Many
sanitizing
stations
around
the
massive
casino
floor.
Many
free
beverage
stations
throughout
the
casino.
This
casino
is
very
large
and
has
so
many
new
games,
some
which
I
never
saw...even
in
Vegas
5
months
ago.
Always
could
find
a
machine
to
play.
If
you
like
the
slot
game
Buffalo,
then
this
is
the
place
to
be.
Every
type
of
game
that
involves
the
original
game
of
Buffalo
is
found
here.
From
the
newest
to
the
older
versions.
Even
has
its
own
special
corner,
with
many
other
Buffalo
games
throughout
the
casino.
They
also
have
a
bowling
alley
(20
lanes),
an
arcade,
a
theatre
or
two,
shopping
and
many
restaurants
for
those
who
don't
gamble
much.
From
a
celebrity
restaurant
(Guy
Fieri's
Kitchen
and
Bar)
to
Smashburger,
Starbucks,
1832
Steakhouse,
Papa
John's
Pizza,
Bamboo
Noodle
and
the
buffet,
you
will
find
great
food
to
choose
from.
If
you
like
shrimp,
then
the
Butterfield's
Buffet
is
the
place
to
go.
Very
large
shrimp
and
as
much
as
you
want.
Lots
of
great
dishes
at
the
buffet.
Only
a
couple
of
drawbacks
here
at
Choctaw.
The
large,
outside
pool
with
a
swim
up
bar
is
close
due
to
construction
of
the
surrounding
area,
along
with
the
outdoor
eating
area.
Heard
it
will
be
a
couple
of
years
before
it
can
reopen.
Smaller
pool
area
by
the
Sky
Tower
will
remain
open.
Also,
if
you
don't
like
to
walk
much,
this
hotel/casino
may
not
be
to
your
liking.
From
the
elevators
to
our
room
was
over
a
block
walk.
The
casino
floor
is
a
massive
area
(think
MGM
Grand
size)
and
getting
around
may
be
difficult
if
walking
is
an
issue.
As
a
side
trip
for
my
vacation,
I
am
so
glad
I
stayed
here.
So
much
to
take
in,
so
much
to
do
and
the
good
times
kept
going
from
start
to
finish.
This
place
is
just
a
great
place
to
stay
and
play.
