Always hits the spot 👌🏾. Drive thru is quick, food is fresh, and I'm as full as a Mississippi tick.

Long line but good enough to show how many people love this drive through. The service is fast and very helpful. The staff are amazing and respectful too. My kids and I just hang out outside and enjoyed our delicious Cook Out burger and our ever-favorite milkshake. This is Five-Star for me and my family

The girl behind the counter KILLED it tonight. Crazy long line and she handled it so well. Very efficient and friendly. Get her in management...she knows how to run things. Great job!

I ordered a hotdog and all I got was a bun...i would've given 0 stars but orange shake was pretty good, hence the 1 star

A former coworker who used to live in NC recommended me cookout...Kinda of a letdown🤷🏾‍♂️ Milkshake was good though. Witness a customer who ordered via drive thru complain about the workers giving attitude in the back. That's a huge no-no for me & hopefully they hire new people who care about their customers. Kimberly S. was cool. I mean I hope that's her name lol it's the name on my receipt.

Fantastic cookout experience! Mouthwatering flavors, impeccable grilling skills, and a vibrant atmosphere. The variety of dishes exceeded expectations. A delicious feast that left us craving for more!

Definitely not a fan. BBQ sandwich was awful. They got the order wrong twice. So had to wait in line forever. Girl at the window was very rude and saying how understaffed they were. I can get better food at a truck stop.

The food that I ordered was not properly made for me. I specifically said “chicken quesadilla tray” and what I got was 1 beef and 1 cheese quesadilla without any meat in it. I understand if it came out as 2 beef or 2 cheese quesadillas, but to have 2 different types of quesadillas makes no logical sense at all. Seems the workers just decided that it would be a prank to give me everything except what I ordered. Service was fine as the order came out relatively fast and I was with my 2 friends in the drive through so atmosphere was fine as well. However, if you’re a food service, I would like to think that the food matters the most and today I did not see those expectations being met.

Went in and it was super busy, but staff was ready and handled it well. They were very friendly and the food was great. Even with the additional business, I still got my food faster than I have at other fast food restaurants with no orders ahead of me. Highly recommend.

Rude, slow, and notably worse than other cookouts in the area. This is a ridiculous amount of chicken to put in a wrap. Very little quality control and consistency.

Coming from Texas, I’d never heard of Cook Out. After trying it, I may start a petition to bring Cook Out to Texas. Open until 3-4am with 40+ flavors of milkshakes? Sign me up. The service was awful - the person taking the orders sounded agitated and impatient. When we got to the window, a guy just opened the door, repeated the price total, and held his hand out for a card. The food greasy and yummy food made up for the lack of service. I don’t expect white-glove service at a drive-they, I just want my order correct and tasty. I tried the cheese bites, chicken nuggets, and a Cajun chicken sandwich. The nuggets were my favorite and made me wish I had gotten more of them, instead of just a side. But the milkshake was the absolute best I have ever had. I ordered the Oreo peanut butter and I think I may have an addiction. They fill the cups up to the brim and leave a thick layer of peanut butter and Oreo chunks at the bottom. Best. Ever. I’ve been here 3 more times since and will sorely miss this place when I return to Texas. If you’re looking for a late-night fast food spot with thick milkshakes, then look no further. 10/10, highly recommended.

The drive-thru is very slow, the line of cars wraps around the building often. Customer service is lacking, the staff is short with replies, leaving you wondering if they even got your order. The only reason I keep going back to this location is that it is close to home and their food is superior to the other burger chains in the area.

Stopped in to grab a quick bite for lunch. The location is convenient to the interstate, and the restaurant appeared to be clean and well maintained. I was greeted as I entered, and the staff was friendly. I ordered a bbq sandwich, but I got a bacon cheeseburger instead. It looked good so I decided to just eat it. It was a little overcooked and the patty is smaller than the bun, but it didn't taste bad. I liked that their combo meals give you the option to pick 2 sides, and that they had a number of side options to choose from.

...food was good, typical. Decided to go inside because the line was crazy long. The late night staff, at the counter, were nice and super friendly...

Everything was great about this visit. The staff was friendly and fast. The dining area was emaculate. This was the 1st restaurant that I've ever been in that played gospel music. Definitely will be returning soon.

The cashiers were happy and laughing which was a light hearted atmosphere, but our order was completely wrong. Very disappointing. Also, who gets BLTs?? There were like 5 in the bag and they were all very sad. 2 pieces of bacon from skinny pigs, 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce, ONE tomato slice, a whisper of mayonnaise, all in-between two thick bready burger buns. Would not recommend.

Consistently delicious no matter the location. I've told my peeps, if there were a Cook-Out in Chapel Hill, I'd never cook again!! Char-grilled all the way! Hand-made shakes that have you doing the Happy Dance!! Win/Win every single time!!

Stopped in for dinner after work. Cook Out hasn’t failed me to date. The barbecue-style grilled chicken tray with two coleslaws and unsweetened tea served it’s purpose. Service was prompt and the food tasted good; didn’t even wait long. Thanks Cook Out!

What a great place for grabbing a quick and affordable meal!!! My family of 5 love this place. A lot of yummy food for less than $7 each. I only would like they don't add pepper to cheese quesadillas without asking first. My daughter doesn't like pepper.

This cookout specifically did a really good job. We both got double fries and they hooked us up on the fries. I hate when you go to a cookout you get double fries and it's like because you got double fries they only give you like one and a half orders or less. But besides that everything was cooked real good service was great.

This place is packed and I'm not really sure why. I waited in line for nearly an hour. When it was finally my time to order after being cut off by all manner of people who didn't respect the queue... My car made our order at the drive-thru... The burgers we received were about the size of a poker chip... The cheese was basically Velveeta... The ketchup tasted like it came from a ketchup packet instead of a bottle... We had soggy pickles that were nearly the size of the hamburger... There was really nothing remarkable about this place other than the fact that the food was completely and totally unremarkable. It was not worth the wait. It was not worth the money. It was not worth dealing with the rude people around the periphery. I could have gotten a better burger from McDonald's and since McDonald's barely qualifies as a burger I'd say that's a pretty big statement.

Give everyone a raise and stay open 24/7 🔥 Typical Cook Out. Which means - a LONG line, barely understanding the speaker through the drive thru, food that's so fresh it burns 🥵 out of you lol 🤷 And no napkins. Ever lol 😂 *I asked for a fork and knife at the window and received it of course because these guys are exceptional! Cajun fries and cheddar bites

If I could give this location no stars I would. I don’t know who the male cashier was working @1:49AM 10/12/2022 or what he’s going thru but his demeanor was off. I asked him at the window for no ice in both my drinks, extra bbq sauce and extra chocolate chips on the side for my fiancé. He told me he might be able to give me a few and handed me 2. Then when I asked for the extra chocolate chips on the side he told me they barely had any to make the shake as was. If that was the case they could’ve just told me at the window and I wouldn’t have ordered the shake. He then threw the young woman under the bus by saying she told us that, which she didn’t. The young woman with beautiful blonde curls and glasses should not have to work at the window this late with someone that ignorant. I am very respectful anywhere I go to eat because I know what it’s like to deal with difficult customer but I choose not to be one to others. If he’s gonna have an attitude and/or choose to not reciprocate the same respect back he needs to be on the line cooking or cleaning. I shouldn’t have to drive another 12 mins just to get what I’m nicely asking for. He wore a durag and a grey hoodie, not even in cookout attire. If he doesn’t have a cookout shirt don’t even give it to him. Treat others with respect and maybe your life will go the way you want it to. That is my friendly advice to you, stay blessed.

The staff is very nice. I’m from up north and I kept seeing this place called CookOut. So I wanted to try it. I seen they had these tray combos were you pick a sandwich, two sides and a drink for $6.49. I seen bbq and I asked if it was like brisket and they didn’t really understand kept telling me bbq so I’m thinking a burger with bbq sauce. I ordered nuggets and onion rings as well. The sandwich look like chicken of the sea or cat food 🤢 on a bun with coleslaw. No ketchup or anything. I got four onion rings two tiny ones and two regular size. I got three tiny nuggets I gave to my baby to eat. That sandwich was atrocious. I had to put bbq sauce on it. But their milkshake was good. I wasn’t impressed by their food or the tiny portions on my plate, my dad and son’s plate. Should have went to Wendy’s. If I’m in NC again I will never eat there again. Strong pass. I gave two stars cuz the milkshake was good

What happened ? Been awhile since I ate here but today it wasn’t close to as good as it was in the past. Got a cookout style burger tray and the burger was just about inedible. Pattys were super thin and so overcooked they might as well have been made out of charcoal briquettes . Tough and flavorless. Sad because this burger was my go to and it was juicy and tasty before. Whats up cookout not only was it a dissatisfying experience but it also cost almost 2 bucks more than before. 3/21/23: Thought I'd give them another try just because--MISTAKE !! actually worse than the last time-the only flavor I could taste from the out west style burger was the grease from the soppy bun-couldn't eat it-made me gag. Fries and "white cheese bites" (lol-hollow batter with a thin white liner of "cheese") . Absolutely inedible not "food". The cheerwine float was decent but doesn't salvage an otherwise disgusting "meal". Never going back.
