Went to a funeral in this area. I was back this way and circumstances made me swing by. Very different from years ago. There was a large setup for bands. Plenty of space to have your own group. Fast and courteous service. Not this way often but I will swing by again. I need to try their Irish Breakfast some day! East Durham has changed a lot since I was here about 4 years ago.

This place was a last minute LIFE SAVER! I'm SO grateful for the woman here who was super nice and responsive even to last second texting later at night. We had a place booked down the street that turned out to be TERRIBLE and we just couldn't bare to stay there AT ALL. We texted here literally last second and they got us in 1,2,3. The room was nice and clean, has a clean and working mini fridge, a couple of snacks and waters, clean bathroom and towels, working tv, cold a/c and the room clearly even smelled clean. They have a cute bar/restaurant next door that was packed upon our arrival and it appeared everyone there was having a great time. We were shot so didn't check it out, but definitely will in the future. Breakfast was included so we went down in the morning to their restaurant and we were not disappointed. The entire meal and coffee was delicious and the waitresses were super sweet. This is without a doubt our new go to place when we're in town for special events and we'll be making sure to tell our friends about this place, who also ended up not staying in the rooms down the street. I have stayed at Mcgrath‘s many times over the years. I’m so glad I finally am sitting down to write a review. They definitely get five stars. I would call them the four seasons of the Catskills. The food is amazing and homemade. The husband and wife team running the place, give their guests the best customer service! It’s also very reasonably priced. And it’s centrally located to the heart of the town. Thank you Colleen and Dermot for an amazing experience every time I come!

Terrific Irish breakfast! Very pleasant waitstaff...food was excellent and very fair for the price. $20 pp.

Absolutely love this place, probably my favorite pub in East Durham.

The rates are very reasonable and the staff very friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds really comfy.

Great Irish music. Nice new deck but very warm Needs split unit Air conditioner to cool space off. Other wise a nice place.

Great people, staff and food. Showed up late on a Friday with my son and our puppy and the owners treated us like family and accommodated us on the lovely porch.

Fun little place to enjoy a pint or two and some live music. We have a weekend home in the area and enjoy the local nightlife. Very friendly crowd.

McGrath's is a family owned and run business. The bar is fantastic with great service. Great live music. And to top off your stay they serve the best Irish breakfast in the Catskills.

Traditional Irish Pub in the heart of East Durham. Go there for great craic and an end of week seisun. Traditional Irish Country Breakfast too!

Everything was great. Murphys Lawyer played on Friday night and had a really good show. A really fun weekend.

I was there for Catskill Mountain Thunder and we just love the place. The owners are fantastic too!
