    Despite being an expensive gym, locker rooms are perpetually dirty and smelly, filtered water dispenser has been broken for months, and TVs are either broken or the staff is unwilling to change the channel. You can do much better for the price.

    Unfortunately my experience was not a positive one. I came in to start my trial and see if I liked the gym. I was excited because it seemed like the place had a lot to offer. The first day it was crazy busy and I couldn't use any of the equipment I normally do. The bathrooms were also dirty, there was toilet paper all over the floor and water all over the bathroom and sink area. The second time I came there was a dead cockroach on the stairs, GROSS! I still couldn't get on any of the equipment. I never saw the staff periodically go around and help make sure equipment was clean either. They do have spray bottles you can use but usually staff pitches in to make sure everything is clean. The set up is really cool and they have a lot of amenities but there's no point in pursuing a membership if a place is dirty and you can't use the equipment.

    Such a great gym. One of the reasons I extended my stay in NC from 2 weeks to 3 months. No joke. The squat racks at this location cannot be beat from any of the other locations. They have every type of machine you’d want in a gym. Staff here is super friendly. And they keep the gym immaculate. I see the staff trainers and front desk consistently doing a walk around to make sure everything is clean and in order. Joe at the front is THE man. I will definitely be back.

    As someone who has had bad gym experiences, O2 Fitness is amazing has set the bar for any future gym. Not only is the gym itself beautiful, clean and everyone in there is friendly, they don’t try to pressure you or push you into buying a membership. Even during the trial period they give you the same professionalism and support as a member. I had a free training session with Ty and he was beyond amazing. He made the workout enjoyable, supposed and pushed me at the same time. I highly recommend him to anyone.

    Location is great and the facility is amazing. I was given a tour by Kenneth. Excellent dude and extremely thorough with describing what the gym has to offer. Additionally, I had a personal training session with Jerrious Scott (highly recommend - great guy to be around) and it was fantastic. The exercises were well planned out and he was there to ensure I maintained proper form and kept me going throughout the sets. The session helped introduce me to new exercises that I can incorporate into my own routine and he gave me tips and tricks to safely perform them on my own time. It really helped me figure out how hard to push myself and where I need to improve.

    I’ve been an O2 Member for years. Started at Brier Creek and have now gone to the Durham location. Equipment is contemporary and clean! I’d like to highlight Marcel, a PT who helped prep me for a half marathon PR with a recovery session and helping me maintain an athletic mindset going into my race. Thank you for excellent service, Marcel! Highly recommend.

    Before joining O2 Fitness, I thought a lot about whether I’d really take full advantage of the membership and whether the environment was right for me. Now that I’ve been a member for a couple months, I am so glad I joined! All the classes they offer have been incredibly fun and a great workout. The instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly, definitely check them out! I’ve only done a couple personal training sessions, but I have to say that Ty is absolutely fantastic. Not only can he give you a strenuous, great workout but he is hilarious and can make you smile during it! Lastly, the people who work there are great. David is incredibly welcoming and willing to answer any questions! Overall, O2 Fitness is definitely 5 stars!

    This location no longer has a manager, and you can really tell, things have gone downhill over the last year. Equipment stays broken longer, the back door has been broken for over a year. The gym doesn't get clean or organized the way it used to. I would not join this gym at this location if you have another one convenient to you

    I am very pleased with the facilities (most importantly cleanliness) and the friendly personnel at O2 Fitness in Durham. For someone who is entering his eighth decade of life starting a new program with a personal trainer can be intimidating. Fortunately, I was paired with Ethan Ylizarde. My experience with him since starting in late June has been phenomenal. Ethan is blessed with a great personality and motivational skills which makes training an very enjoyable experience. His knowledge of training methods to attain the desired result is impressive. I look forward every week to my next session with Ethan. Hopefully, he will be at O2 for as long as I am able to do personal training.

    Just moved here from Chicago area. While I wish for more weights and machines to workout since it is busy, that tells you it is a good club because there are people who want to workout here. It is so clean. It has tons of spray bottles and paper towels, and members use them all the time. Staff at front desk is so friendly as they greet you coming in and leaving. Also, they recently replaced padding on different equipment.

    Very very nice upscale gym. There was so many machines to workout on I didn’t know where to start. Katherine was nice and sweet at the front desk. Tylor was awesome very awesome personality. She is super knowledgeable about fitness. I’m sign up for personal training sessions for myself and my son. Wow what an awesome experience here!!!!

    The staff is wonderful! Sky, Mitchell, and Roderick are wonderful, very helpful as well as patient and definitely knowledgeable! I am a new member and joining O2 fitness was one of the best decisions I have made this year and I’m an amazing business owner! If you are on the divider line definitely cross on over to joining and thank me later!😀😀😀

    Simeon stands out as one of the finest personal trainers I've ever had. His unwavering support and focused attention ensure you won't give up, pushing you to achieve your goal weight. While the sessions can be challenging, it's all part of the encouragement needed to finish strong. Additionally, O2fitness boasts a friendly staff and an excellent new general manager, making it a fantastic investment for my workout routine.

    I've been working with Max for a couple of months now. I would highly recommend him to all of my friends and family. He is professional, educated, and encouraging. I look forward to our sessions every week! In a small amount of time, I have noticed an increase in my strength and energy levels. He will not disappoint! :)

    I joined O2 in Durham this fall and I absolutely love it. The facility is huge, it's aesthetically pleasing and has everything I was looking for and more. I started personal training with Erin and it's been a huge game changer for me. The initial consult with Ethan was super thorough and he made me feel comfortable with where I was at with my fitness goals and certain limitations, and made the process super streamlined. Erin makes workouts a blast and has helped me realize my strength and pushes me in the best way possible. I've learned a lot from working with her and it's one of the best parts of my week!

    I’ve been at this gym for awhile and recently started working personally with Erin and it has changed my experience drastically! She is so easy to work with and super personable. She makes the gym approachable while also pushing you to do your very best! The gym itself is also nice with having a variety of things you can have access to! Highly recommend!

    I had a great training experience with MAX! He put together a full training plan based on my goals and logged all my progress. He definitely pushes you to work hard, while staying positive and encouraging. He was all around fun to work with. I feel so much more comfortable and confident in the gym.     This place is epic but the true gem of the place is Jatavia at the front desk. Small things like greeting me by name every time I come in honestly it means a ton to me! Rob is great too! Ethan’s the man! Okay, I think I named all my favorites. Wait, my girl Brecka too! Anyway, like with most gyms it has some truly busy times but overall great gym!

    I have been a member at O2 Fitness in Durham since 2021. They were the first to open since COVID, and are by far the best fitness center in the area - both interns of environment as well as customer service. Robert and Nilo, two of the associates at O2, have both assisted me with various issues and provided me with quick and efficient solutions. Happy to be part of the O2 family.

    I love this gym! The place is clean and the staff are really friendly. I’ve enjoyed using the sauna, nice showers, studio classes, and personal training sessions. This place definitely motivates me and makes exercising a fun and holistic experience.

    Ethan is the best personal trainer EVER!!! I just moved to O2 from another gym where all of my friends go. I was hesitant about switching even though I knew there was nothing more for me at my old gym. But 1 day with Ethan & all of those worries were gone. He pushes me to always do my best (even though I complain🙃) & believes in me when I don’t. There aren’t enough words to explain how excited I am about working with Ethan & hitting my goals!💪 I haven’t worked with other trainers at O2 but they are all extremely kind & friendly. In addition, the fitness classes are amazing!! HIGHLY recommend!

    Truly loving this gym! Everyone is so helpful, welcoming with an upbeat attitude. Locker rooms are neat & clean, and the hydraulic massage beds are my FAVE! I’ve never had an issue using any of the equipment being unavailable because of an overcrowded gym. The Durham/Chapel Hill location is my go-to. I’ve tried many of the other locations in Raleigh where I live—however Chapel Hill is where I work so it’s super convenient too. Thanks 02!!

    I got a 21 day trial pass to this gym and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The staff is very friendly, gym is super clean and the environment is very energetic. Had a personal training session and the fitness trainer is super knowledgeable. Everything O2 has to offer, it’s definitely worth the price!

    Muhammad Mustafa, better known as “Coach Mo” is hands down the best trainer of all time. We’ve been working one-on-one for 4 months now and I have never been more confident in myself. My body fat is down 3%, my shoulders and back don’t hurt anymore and I feel confident in my form and my fitness routine. Mo has developed life and teaching skills well past his years. He grasps every step of the process to becoming a total powerhouse. He understands and has personally mastered the physical technique , nutritional science and mental fortitude necessary to create a body you’re proud of. If you choose to work with Mo, make sure you come to work! Good luck on your fitness journey.

    This place is the best! I have a 1 year old and the child care is great! I definitely recommend this gym to mothers. The price is not bad either. They always have games at the front where you can get free stuff. Much better than Planet Fitness, especially if you are a mom.

    I've been a member of this O2 Fitness club for 15 months. I'd give O2 Fitness 6 stars if I could. The facilities are clean and well maintained and there is lots of natural light. The team is helpful and friendly. I have not taken classes, but I've worked with two trainers. Both trainers were knowledgeable and excellent teachers. I'm a happy member!
