Great venue, not a bad seat in the house. Very affordable garage parking $7, they didn’t take cash 10/14/23. Coming back, only one elevator was working and the line was long. If you are using the elevators at the theater, usually a long line, and it may take 4-5 waits until you can board, so plan the extra time. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Used the vending machine to get soda, 20 ounce bottle, charged $5. And don’t forget to visit the box office if buying tickets to other shows to save the extreme handling online fees from TM.

I had to take away another star for the seating and the fact that they ran out of pretzels within minutes of the 20 minute break. The seats are definitely not good. They hurt your butt after about 30 minute so I definitely recommend a seat crushing come with you. Had to take away a star because someone decided to kick and beat my seat. Not happy with that. Show is good so far, though. Very nice, crazy but nice. The bathroom is definitely nice. Complimentary lady products are available in the bathroom also. The entrance is crazy definitely going through a good search. Drug dog Metal detector Tickets scanned People are available to help around every corner

The first picture is the orchestra pit. The second one is the stage for Hamilton. What an amazing show. The theater is of course fairly new and just beautiful on the outside. They have several parking lots, so parking was easy. The interior is beautiful also oh, and very very clean, and very secure, with lots of service people two man the food and refreshment stands. Drinks and food all right bit cheaper then they would be at the Ballpark. All the employees are extremely helpful. And friendly. I'd go there all the time if I could afford a season pass.

DPAC is a beautiful theatre. It's clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The only concern is that some of the seats have an obstructed view. I don't recommend buying a Row A seat at the balcony. Overall, it is always a great experience here at DPAC.

This marked my inaugural visit to the DPAC, driving from Greensboro to catch the performance by Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. Despite having secured tickets months in advance, a curveball came our way when my wife required foot surgery just 1 1/2 weeks prior to the concert. Concerns loomed over logistical challenges, including drop-off/pick-up and navigating her limited mobility at the venue. Our apprehensions swiftly dissipated thanks to the extraordinary assistance of Nancy, an outstanding parking attendant. Addressing all my questions, she guided us to optimal parking to ensure proximity to the front door. Even before entering, multiple staff members inquired about our needs, offering to provide a wheelchair or any necessary assistance. Upon entering, we were efficiently ushered to the elevator and directed to our seats. Enter Donna – truly exceptional! She engaged with us, discussing options to enhance my wife's comfort and guiding us to the most convenient route to the restroom. I cannot praise her enough for the stellar service provided. From beginning to end, it felt like a Red Carpet experience. And, of course, the show was nothing short of amazing in this fantastic venue. :)

Saw Moulin Rouge the Musical on 5/7. Was completely blown away by the performers, singing, dancing and backgrounds. Costumes were gorgeous and beautiful. Loved the show and highly recommend seeing it.

Amazingly beautiful venue, not a bad seat in the house. Very clean. Lots upon lots upon lots of the color RED. Sound system was great. Bathrooms were clean, drinks were easily accessible and a wide variety of drink choices. I also like that the venue is within walking distance of good food.

My husband and I drove 2.5 hours to see Bert Kreisher perform here. It was totally worth it! Entering the venue was a breeze and so was finding our seats. The servers at the concession stands were very friendly and the food and drinks were pretty good! The bathrooms were also very clean and the venue staff were very helpful with guiding us out of the venue towards the parking lot. We will certainly return here!

This place was amazing πŸ‘. Complimentary Starbucks in the lounge areas. I recommend looking up a show and picking a room downtown. Parking was no issue .

Wow, what an amazing venue! I can not recommend DPAC enough for a night of entertainment. I am definitely one for old school historical theaters or auditoriums, but this facility hit all the facets for a carefree, great time! Parking, which is plentiful, was an ease before and after the show. We parked in the North Deck, which was a short walk away and were able to prepay on-line and was extremely convenient. Entry was quick and efficient inside the theater. All the staff that we had encountered throughout the evening were very helpful and friendly. Sightlines, sound, and lighting were exceptional. Expect lines for vending and restrooms, but all in all, were organized and quick. We were lucky enough to get great seats in Orchestra, Section 4, Row G, for Widespread Panic which was πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯!!Also, the area around DPAC seemed safe, and was well equipped with dining, bars, and lodging, all within a stones throw away - PERFECT!!

This is such a nice venue. There really is NO bad seat in this place! We sat in Section 10, Row A which was the 2 level balcony for the musical WICKED. It was fantastic. The parking deck was very close to the venue with only a short walk. And checking in was seamless.

Intimate venue. Nice seating. Handicap accessible. Have special seating for handicap people. Easy to get around. Paid parking deck close by. No traffic getting there or when leaving. Amazing show! I loved it.

DPAC is a nice venue, the staff is friendly and everything moved smoothly before we were seated. They offer drinks and simple snacks, there are alcoholic beverages from beer to a bar as well as a coffee station. The seats were nice and the bathrooms were clean. My husband and I really enjoyed our experience!

DPAC is a fantastic venue. We have been lucky enough to have season tickets to the Broadway Series. We've had an opportunity to sit in all of tiers. The sound is incredible no matter where you sit. Great venue and a wonderful variety of shows.

I personally feel it isn't a bad seat in this facility. I sat in the Grand tier for this event. I have truly enjoyed all the events I've gone to here. The staff is awesome. Here are some pics of Dru Hill from the Ladies R&B Kickback Concert Part 2 last night.

I've been to many great shows at the DPAC and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always very helpful. The venue is one of the best I've ever been to. I enjoy myself every time I go. It also didn't hurt that I won tickets to see Hamilton (again).

Fantastic venue for an extraordinary 2Cellos Concert! All the staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming and the area of Durham was great. Had dinner at Tobacco Road Cafe and the food was plentiful and delicious!

Parking was easy to find and just a short walk to the venue. We were able to get concessions - pretzel, candy and drinks and enjoy the show. Staff were all kind and helpful in finding out seats and checking in.

Went here for Jesus Christ Superstar Musical. The seating was fantastic. Paid $125 a seat & was a perfect distance from the stage but close enough we could see the spit & sweat from the performers. ORCH Sec.2 seats G 305 & 306 & F 305. The food is obviously limited... containers of trail mix & yogurt pretzels for nearly $5 hot pretzels for $6 & sodas were $7. They do have alcohol available at different stations for each floor. The security is thorough but ladies are currently NOT limited on bag size like other venues. Parking at ATC was available for $7..only a few hundred feet from the venue....funny parking cost the same as a soda.. πŸ˜†. From the looks of it...I'm not sure there's a bad seat here...unless you short like myself.. but i still managed a fantastic view. 😊😁 wish I had more photos to share...but no video or photos were allowed of performance. 4 stars due to pricing of the concessions... they could definitely do better on this

Always a lovely and friendly experience. I wish they had Broadway lotteries more often and offered student rush tickets. Some shows are quite empty. Why not sell out, even if at a lower price.

Extremely beautiful venue and the most hospitable staff one can find. The Durham Bulls had a home game the same night and I was concerned about parking and congestion, but this area handled it well. Show was great!

This was my first time seeing a musical. I didn't know what to expect. This place is super nice and so clean! The lone tends to build during intermission but it went pretty quickly. They direct you which stall to go to and have hygiene products available. We were were on the third row on the balcony and we loved our seats! We could see everything. There were a few moments when I couldn't hear the audio. The cast and music was phenomenal. One thing to note about the stairs: they can be hard to maneuver. I am an aptuee and they made me nervous. Not unsafe... Just nervous. Wonderful time and sweet staff! Huge range of snacks and drinks. Highly recommend. I am getting a pretzel next time! They looked SO good.

I was there for the recent STYX concert and my family and I have no complaints. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were pretty much escorted to my handicap spot and my wife and son were shown the seats in front of me. Heck, I even had one of the staff, a bubbly, cheerful woman on the second floor interior of venue help me pull on my concert t-shirt I bought. I usually have to complain about handicapped service because it's just not very good most places. Here I felt just like another concert goer. They saw me the person and not the guy in a wheelchair.

The Broadway of the South! Even though I no longer live in NY I'm happy that I have the DPAC in close proximity to me. Since I've been here I have seen Hamilton Touring, Dear Evan Hansen Touring, The Hip Hop Nutcracker, and Frozen Touring. All have been amazing shows and I love that shows that I have seen at Amsterdam theater in NY can travel down to NC. There are ticket prices for every price point and they also offer a lottery the day before a show to get great seats at a discounted price. I highly recommend if you are looking for Broadway in the South.
