Absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops in Durham. Not only is the coffee yummy, but the staff are so personable and the vibe is welcoming. I always feel like a million bucks after leaving Omie's. It's perfect for meeting friends or working. ALSO, who doesn't love a beautiful pink building. Highly recommend.

I ordered the iced Mabel. It’s burnt honey and lavender. Sooooo delicious. I’m definitely returning. Very clean. Friendly staff. Plus, it’s on my way to work.

LOVE! This delicious iced mocha is everything I needed on a hot summer morning. Everyone is so nice and the coffee is great. So happy to have a coffee in walking distance to my home!

You can feel that this group of people are building a business centered on kindness and community the moment you walk in. The smile, the conversation, the simplicity of interaction. You can’t fake sincerity… this place is going to succeed on their spirit of warm hospitality alone. Oh and their coffee and design is GREAT too! My first time coming and I don’t live nearby but I will be back!

Had a very nice time at the new coffee shop on the north side of 85! The coffee was good, the ambience pleasant, and the staff very friendly. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. My one year old and I really liked the children’s play area! A great place to come on a hot afternoon. Prices are about what you’d expect. The milk steamer was broken today, but expected to be repaired soon, and too hot for a hot drink anyway!

The best coffee we've had in Durham. My husband and I really enjoy good coffee and typically are int he hunt for a good third wave coffee shop. Not only was their coffee flavorful but their latte's were as well. At the time they were making an excellent home made pumpkin syrup which if I remember correctly had browned butter within it. So so good. Addison, the owner, kindly welcomed us into her shop at the counter and calmly served us our drinks and treats. Not only do they make their drinks with skill, but they roast their own beans and have produces incredible flavor profiles. We purchased some bags of beans and it was well worth the price, even to the point that we have considered having them shipped to us.I also really appreciated that they used so many compostable produces and clearly had a focus on reducing waste. Thank you Omie's. We have multiple kids and they have created a wonderful space for kids and parents to hang out, which was such a relief and help. I plan to go every time we are back in Durham and hope you give this place a try, it's well worth your time and money. They also have great spaces to sit and work or chat with a friend. This place is a gem of the city that I hope you find.

I love having a local coffee shop, but have been continuously disappointed coming here. They often don't have a drink ingredient in stock, or are all out of baked goods, or their equipment is broken. I've rarely been able to go and get what I was hoping for. I got an iced Mabel latte one time and the milk curdled. I got a hot chai today (after they couldn't make another drink) and it's lukewarm at best. And the prices are expensive. Would love to love this place, but they need to step it up!

So glad to have stopped when traveling through Durham. Welcomed with a warm smile, lovely conversation and coffee. Can’t wait to try the coffee beans I bought while on vacation!

I looked at some of the reviews and had to stop by since I was in the area. A M A Z I N G! The atmosphere was calming and relaxing, a great place to work on papers while sipping well made lattes. I received a sample of one of the coffees that they were selling and just had to buy it. The Barista was friendly and super informative. Above all else one they compost! Trash bags are compostable, all single use plastic is compostable, and of course the coffee. I love a business that thinks about the environment and puts the effort in the small things. If you haven't already been definitely check this place out ☕❤️

A place to enjoy specialty coffee. Omies shines brightest in their top quality, roasted on-site coffee. They serve it in a classic modern specialty coffee atmosphere: clean, minimalist, sufficient seating, play space for small children. Creative (delicious) seasonal craft drinks. Also offer a small selection of pastries.

Had a wonderful experience! Very cute and cozy coffee shop. Everything was delicious and Addie was so so nice! I had an iced blueberry cobbler latte with oat milk, and it was amazing! If you cannot make it out to this location, check them out at the Durham Farmer's Market!

I'm so glad that Durham has another option for coffee now. I've purchased a bag of beans and an espresso and enjoyed both immensely. Every time I've gone the baristas have been friendly and thoughtful. The overall atmosphere is also very inviting. It's a great place to go read, meet with a friend, or stop in for a latte on the go.

The coffee here is, of course, very good. But I really appreciate how friendly the entire staff is (and how they obsessively dial in the espresso) and the environment that creates. They did a great job subdividing the spaces to give people a place to work without disrupting the social environment of the other spaces. It's just a well-thought-out and well-designed space with great drinks and a nice lil' selection of stuff to eat. Bonus points for having the roaster in space where you can watch!

Omie's is a very cute coffee shop in a renovated garage. The interior is well designed with plenty of seating including some seats facing out the front windows. Staff was quick and friendly as well. The espresso of my cappuccino was good, but the milk wasn't really frothed right so it felt more like I was having a small latte. All in all, I'd come here again, but I wasn't blown away.

Thrilled to finally have a nearby coffee shop in walking distance from where I live off of Club! I love treating myself to Omie’s. The lattes are delicious, staff is always friendly, and the decor is so cute and chill. I also love that they compost and will let me use my to-go mug. And they gave a bike rack!! What’s not to love about this place? Please stay forever, Omie’s!

This place is a gem. It’s cozy and doesn’t give that over-produced and redundant feeling that every coffee shop seems to have these days. Best of all, the staff was amazing. Maddie was a great barista and super friendly, and Olivia (go bruins!) was roasting beans and made time to chat it up as well. Thanks guys, love this spot already! Oh and the coffee hit the spot!

Cute little coffee shop in a refurbished garage. The coffee was really smooth and had great taste. They had some fun seasonal drink options to choose from & the girl working was extremely nice and welcoming. Plenty of room to work or sit & relax. Overall a great addition to the coffee community!

I haven't reviewed many places lately (way to go Google Local Guide Chuck), but I felt compelled to post a review of Omie's Coffee. I heard about Omie's Coffee through Instagram, saw they were just down the street from me and had to check them out. I saw their account sharing positive customer experiences. Y'all...I can 100% confirm that they are the nicest people! I walked in shortly after they opened this morning around 7:30 a.m., and they were polite, friendly and eager to help. You'd forgive service staff anywhere if they're not the best version of themselves at 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, but they couldn't have been nicer! Their space is also very cozy. I wish I could have stuck around and sipped my iced caramel latte. I'm excited to see how the space looks during the autumn months when (maybe) the garage doors will be opened? I guess it would depend on how noisy Roxboro Road can get. The coffee was delicious and it's refreshing to have a latte where you can really taste the coffee. Some places overdo the flavors, masking the richness of the coffee beans, but not here! I would highly recommend this as your new go-to coffee spot. I can't wait to go back!

Tasty cold brew coffee and Apricot Pepita 😋 I added oat milk and sugar that they had on the side table. Ladies are so sweet and it's such a cool vibe walking in, super cute. I loved it. Highly recommend to come and check them out!

New addition to the area, and it hasn’t disappointed yet! Unique space in a converted auto garage, but the facelift is well done with comfy and quirky furniture. One of the better chai lattes I’ve had! Light and tasty with just a hint of sweet (you can add simple syrup if you want to).
