Fantastic little hidden gem. The best and freshest tasting sushi I’ve had in Germany. The owner is also an absolute delight -super kind, funny and clearly very passionate about what he does. Highly recommend

One of the best sushi’s I’ve had in Essen, let me correct my previous statement, not only in Essen, but in the entire Germany! Amazing food, good ambiance, great service. The chef came to our table to check if everything was good. I’m from Brazil and I was really surprised when he spoke Portuguese with me, something I didn’t expected. Definitely, I will come back soon to taste other options in the menu. Super worth it!!

Best Sushi I've ever eaten! Fresh and delicious food for those who appreciate Japanese cuisine. There the service is kind, keen to suggest to you that they have best and fast. Byakko is a must-visit spot for me every time I am in Essen and I would highly recommend it for everyone as well.

Delicious, especially the appetizers. However, the fried sushi had too much sauce, masking its flavor. Everything else was top-notch, and I recommend trying their fresh, non-fried sushi. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Pricey but worth it. Thank you!

Really delicious sushi! Good quality fish and tasty combinations, nice wine to combine with food. Also enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. Recommended!
