A
very
interesting
facility.
It
was
privately
managed
for
decades
and
has
now
become
a
museum.
Entry
through
a
large
gate
and
no
entry
fee.
It
has
been
protected
since
1980
and
the
Kaarst
Museum
Support
Association,
founded
in
1990,
is
now
the
sponsor
of
the
museum.
The
club
puts
a
lot
of
love
into
the
facility
and
it
shows.
But
there
is
still
a
lot
to
do.
When
you
arrive
in
the
courtyard
there
is
a
small
snack
bar
on
the
right
with
cakes,
sausages
and
drinks
such
as
coffee,
beer,
water,
juices
and
others.
There
is
a
small
museum
shop
on
the
left.
The
first
thing
you
should
do
is
walk
straight
into
the
farmhouse
and
you
will
immediately
be
pushed
back
in
time.
All
kinds
of
everyday
objects
from
the
past
can
be
found.
Different
spaces
like
grandmother's
time.
In
various
rooms
such
as
the
kitchen,
living
room,
bedroom,
laundry
room
everything
is
furnished
according
to
old
times.
Every
now
and
then
there
are
little
things
that
disturb
the
picture,
like
in
the
small
bedroom
everything
looks
old
and
there
is
a
brand
new
chair
that
looks
like
it
came
from
a
furniture
store.
It
took
me
a
good
90
minutes
to
admire
everything
in
the
house.
There
was
language
information
available
everywhere
on
the
Internet
where
you
could
find
out
interesting
things
about
the
respective
area.
From
the
basement
to
the
roof
there
was
a
lot
of
information
and
things
to
marvel
at.
From
the
beginning
of
the
farm
to
the
construction
of
the
buildings
on
it.
Narrow
old
stairs
made
of
stone
or
wood
led
to
the
basement
or
to
the
roof.
You
also
learned
something
about
the
shoemaker
of
that
time.
The
gardens
were
not
particularly
well
maintained;
there
was
probably
a
lack
of
an
employee
with
the
green
thumb.
There
is
a
shed
behind
the
house
that
needs
a
lot
of
time
to
be
put
in
order.
Clean
toilets
also
wheelchair
accessible.
I
can
only
recommend
everyone
to
spend
some
time
there.
Friendly
and
nice
people
who
help
and
do
business.
