There I was stranded on a island with nowhere to go no money and no credit card no cell service. And I stop at this super busy motel and the service I received from the fellow there was far over what is expected he let me use the phone to attempt to call family to get me a room. He let me call like three times even while super busy. If I could rate it 100 stars I would. He let me store my stuff in a locked store room so I didn't have to carry 3 heavy bags while I found somewhere to sleep. I feel like he saved my life that day or atleast my shoulders and feet. Thank you soo much sir!!!

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No a/c so the room war hot the whole night which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. No Wi-Fi, seriously at a $200 a night hotel and you guys don’t have the basics that even motels have. Complete trash. The beds are hard, it’s probably a little better then sleeping on the floor. One last thing most of the outlets didn’t work at least in my room. Never will come back here again and I’ll make sure other people know this before wasting their money like I did.

Recently stayed 7 nights at the Grand Aleutian, it was a wonderful week in amazing Dutch Harbor. The seafood buffet (Wednesday) is the worlds best King crab buffet, with lots of other great food as well. The rooms are clean, staff was always helpful, especially Rita working the front desk, always friendly and helpful. WiFi will be nice when the sea cable is being dropped as as Write. Great hotel plus great staff service resulted in an awesome week at the Grand Aleutian Hotel!!

My husband is currently residing here for his employment. His room was very clean, and he mentioned that staff were very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant food is great he says.

The staff are friendly and the hotel has great food and service. What hospitality should be. I liked it so much, I now work for them as a Cook in their Harborview Bar and Grill

I have eaten at the Dinner and Lunch Buffets and really liked the wide variety of Meats, Seafood, Vegetables, Fruits, and deserts.

Great staff and even better buffet. Buffet selection was amazing. Didn’t stay in hotel rooms but the hallways smelt of marijuana but that could be normal just not use to it.

Best hotel in town. There's only two so not saying much. The restaurant is awesome though. Crab legs Benedict in the morning with a bloody mary really nurses away any hangover. In the night time the upstairs restaurant has as an upscale vibe and the food to match

Great (and possibly only) hotel to stay at while in Dutch Harbor. Usually they have three restaurants open, however due to Covid, one of them has been closed for a while. That being said, dinner is spectacular at the bar and the piano is tuned for all your ivory-tickling needs.

Nice place, especially for being on a fish Processing Island (Dutch Harbor) in Alaska! Good choice of restaurants and food and good coffee as well. Be prepared to spend more money because everything is shipped or flown in. Could do a lot worse when you are out in the boonies!đź‘Ť

It’s pretty good, especially considering it’s a place on a remote island. Wifi available for purchase via satellite service. See photo for main restaurant king crab (1 lb) entree w/ rice, broccoli & house salad

Took almost 3 weeks to book a hotel room calling and emailing frequently as I believe they had a new booking system. Complimentary shuttle from hotel was helpful. Thankfully I had a room and there were multiple people they had to turn away for not having rooms. Rooms were decent but it seemed most others in our group couldn’t get into their room until after 8pm but may have been a busier week than usual.

Awesome hotel in a scenic location, with huge suites, friendly staff and a seafood buffet that I still dream about! Receptionist Kodi was a highlight of my stay - she has such a warm, bright and kind presence that made me feel like I was coming home. No matter what time I was coming or going she seemed to be a permanent fixture at her desk ready for a good yarn! Only downside is that wifi isn’t available
