I will not be shopping at this Ulta ever again. The first and only time I came in, I purchased about 4 or 5 items that I really needed, I don’t have much money so I checked all the prices carefully to make sure they were all within my budget. When the lady rang me up it was a lot more expensive than I expected so I paid with my card and left. When I got to work I looked at my receipt and saw that everything was charged about 2 or 3 more dollars than the listed price. I called the store right away and asked if there could be some mistake. The woman on the phone acted like I was crazy and told me I could return the products. I didn’t return them but I went back to the store a few weeks later to look at all the prices and sure enough, they had overcharged me on ALL my items. I’m not sure how or why they did this but I will not be going back to this store.

I’m giving this Ulta location a one star. I love the products yet the employees are very unprofessional! Starting with management and all the way back to the hair salon! Gossip about each other and other clients when they think no one is listening and give back very poor customer service! I live in Eagan, but I avoid this Ulta at all cost. I prefer to drive out of my way for a different location.

Super great haircut with Kelsey in the salon. She is time-efficient, does a great cut design and I never feel pressured for product - but am able to discuss. My checkout experience was also great. Carmen was really great with the guest ahead of me who had multiple questions, and she wasn’t able to step away, but made sure to find another employee to assist her promptly, before ringing me up. She also looked up a MAC product for me that I had a quick question on. I know interactions at the cash wrap need to be quick- but she checked all the boxes in the brief interaction:)

This has been "my" Ulta since they first opened this location. I always have a wonderful experience here, but I had a particularly amazing interaction with a staff member I felt it warranted a review! I went in right when the doors opened at 10am on Saturday June 3 to avoid the crowds. I knew what I needed to pick up, so I shopped quickly. There were a number of older customers being helped by all the staff working on registers, dealing mostly with complicated return or exchange processes. I wound up having to wait in line for longer than usual, so when I arrived at the register, I wanted to be as expeditious as possible for the employee's sake. However, I had accidentally grabbed testers for a number of products I wanted to buy, and the shades I was looking for were sold out. The young woman at the register (I can't remember her name but she had brown skin and beautiful thick black hair!) not only helped me walk back to the product location to replace the tester, but when the shades I was seeking were sold out, she took plenty of time to make sure I still found products that worked for my skin tone. She recommended a blush shade that I was very apprehensive about trying. It wound up looking BEAUTIFUL on my skin. Working in customer service is hard and often inconsistent, but this Ulta employee made my whole weekend, and I still reflect upon that happy morning a week later! I hope her managers see this and give her the recognition she deserves for her excellent service.

This location would benefit from some serious awareness and training on how NOT to be patronizing and dismissive of older women. The last 2 times I left actually embarrassed AND without buying anything. I needed help deciding what makeup would benefit my skin type for my age. It was as if I was supposed to have done all my own research and just go in and purchase it. I have never had a welcoming experience from this store since they opened. Snobby. I will not put myself through that again. Beauty is for all ages, TYVM.

If you’re African American or a person with brown skin please find another Ulta to purchase products. Went to this location today and instead of them helping they passed me on to several different people! Didn’t get the help I needed, thanks to the cashier with the pig tails, the one with the blue hair and the lady with the pink hair.

The staff at this store is so nice and really helpful. They helped me find the right shade foundation even though they were about to close. The young woman who helped me match the MAC Radiance Serum foundation tonight went above and beyond and the cashier who checked me out was super friendly.

Rachel always does wonderful work with my brows, and works well around brow piercings as well! She is always a great conversationalist and is very knowledgeable about makeup and skincare

Super helpful! I went in there to pick up an item that I called and asked them to put on hold, but decided to look around and got some good help while looking around, and when the price for my hold item was more in store than online, they were easily able to price match. Would be glad to come back here again.
