Illoura Reserve offers stunning views of the Harbour Bridge, Barangaroo Reserve, Darling Harbour, and the Anzac Bridge. It's a great spot for a picnic with friends or family. Also has a basketball court if you are planning for some sport activities. However, be aware that the parking spaces are limited, so it's advisable to plan accordingly. Additionally, it's worth noting that the reserve may not offer the best sunset views. Nonetheless, it's still a lovely place to enjoy the surrounding beauty and spend a relaxing day outdoors.

A great park with plenty of shade. Fantastic place to watch cruise ships arriving and departing Sydney. Well maintained by council and close to busses and the F4 ferry.

Great views of the bridge, city skyline, and Barangaroo. Full of sun all morning, and lots of shade during the afternoon.

Although it has an astounding view of the harbor bridge, finding parking and restrooms to use is a massive issue.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful view of bridge and darling harbor. Good place to see weekly fireworks as well as year-end fireworks. Small and no braaiers but good place to picnic on Saturday night. (Original) Mooi uitsig van brug en darling harbour. Goeie plek om weeklikse vuurwerke sowel as jaareind vuurwerke te sien. Kleinerig en geen braaiers maar goeie plek om รฑ Saterdagaand picnic te hou.

Small but stunning little park at the end of Balmain peninsula. Great views of both the Harbour bridge, Barrangaroo and Darling Harbour. The ferry wharf is at one end so an easy place to visit from the city or Darling Harbour. There's also some Aboriginal history here and a new restaurant called 'The Fenwick' looks like it might open soon. Toilet facilities are modern and clean and there's a small but practical kids play area. Cafes etc. a short walk up the hill.

This a 5 star pocket park. It has the best public toilets I ever seen in a park in Sydney. Plenty of room to relax with views to the city.

On a nice day this park offers spectacular views. You can pick up a coffee and snack nearby at the cafe on the way down Darling St of The Fenwick.

Love this park, frequently go here to catch the ferry but also walk down from my house in Balmain just to appreciate the views. There is also a nice bouldering wall there which has some fun climbs.

This park has a fantastic view of the Sydney skyline. You could catch a ferry here from Circular Quay - the nearest wharf is just off the park which is Balmain East Wharf. The last time and only times I visit this park is during NYE festivities. New Year's Eve is a chill affair in Illoura Reserve and family friendly. Doesn't get crowded but come early as they tend to block off the roads early in the afternoon.

One of my favourite reserves in Sydney, perfect for get togethers and parties! Overlooks the harbour and Barangaroo reserve. Large amounts of flat space and easily accessible by ferry or car. Great play area for kids and toilets by the Wharf.

Sydney foreshores at it's best. A HUGE park with plenty of room for the kids and/or pets to run amok. There's plenty of benches to sit on and it gets packed out on weekends, so get in early to ensure you get a good spot. Bring you picnic blanket and food and make a day of it whilst Sydney Harbour puts on a show all around you. You'll soon see why it gets packed out. Brilliant way to spend a few hours or a day.

Lovely foreshore walks with scenic views of Sydney harbour & the nearby attractions across the bay .. Perfect for private picnics in a secluded corner or romantic strolls.. You will find many dog owners exercising with their dogs here as well.. The foreshore walk from peacock point past illoura's reserve to Balmain east Thornton park will be a 15 to 20 minute easy stroll..
