Had a fabulous experience learning to dive with Prodive. Small group training, friendly and well qualified crew. Big shoutout to the best instructor, Bruno, who eased us into it to suit individual needs which made the whole experience even more enjoyable! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience at Pro Dive Alexandria. A well structured course for beginners delivered by great set of instructors. The weather conditions were extreme during our course but the team at Pro Dive made sure that we make the most out of it and learn. Highly recommended!

I just completed my ocean water dive course with these guys. I was incredibly impressed by the high quality of the staff and the training Learning to dive is complicated and safety is a huge issue. The team make sure everyone is drilled and briefed before they get in the water. The procedures are robust and the instructors don't leave anything to chance. Everything runs to a tight timetable and the instructors work hard to make it enjoyable. This is a very professional business and I would definitely use them for additional training and dives.

We had an awesome experience learning to dive on our open water course through Pro Dive. The instructors put my anxiety at ease with their causal and relaxed style of teaching. Our instructor, Bruno, was excellent at teaching us the skills to survive under water and supported me when I struggled. We will be using Pro dive for our future dives and certifications.

I completed my dive refresher yesterday at Gordon's Bay with Diego as my instructor. Diego was everything you would want and expect in a dive instructor: methodical, calm and knowledgable. I had not dived in a long time but as soon as I got in the water and performed the drills after Diego's excellent prep it felt like I had dived the day before. One of our group had some anxiety and Diego's handling of it was empathetic and professional. He was able to put her at ease whilst looking after the rest of the group. I was so impressed with his infectious cool demeanour. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Pro Dive.

Pro Dive Alexandria were amazing. We had such a nice experience with the team over the duration of our course. Our instructor, Bruno, put us at ease and taught us everything we needed to know to be safe underwater and have a great time! We would recommend Bruno, and the whole team! Great Dive centre great value with amazing instructors. Pedro and Daniel were amazing instructor. My instructor Pedro patiently guided me throughout the course and although I was a slow learner, helped me a lot to catch up with the rest of the class. Pedro was very experienced and kind with great communication. He was willing to repeat the skills and steps. He made sure everyone understood the lessons and dived safely. Thanks for all of your help and patience, I couldn't get to the point at the of the course without you Pedro.

Pro Dive was recommend by a friend and I had such a fun time learning to dive. Bruno was great instructor who taught my group. He was very patient in teaching us all the skills and supported the group when we had issues. Always ready to answer our questions.

Love my experience doing the open water course with pro dive, all the instructors were super fun, welcoming and helpful at all time. Was really glad to have Bruno as my instructor that help a lot and made me calm in the skills we had to do in the ocean Even with the sh*t weather conditions we did super well On the second day we saw a shark that follow us a bit 😂 and we saw a ray and 2 octopus

Summary: good course but admin is completely inflexible and money-orientated, if anything goes wrong don't expect them to accomodate you whatsoever, they will take the full course fee and not offer any leeway with refunds or even rescheduling unlike the many other companies I've dealt with who have goodwill. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to here. The actual course and training was good value, enjoyable, led by nice instructors and well planned out. The issue is with admin and their complete inflexibility. My course was on Wed-Fri, and early in the week I had sinus congestion so I called alerting them of this on Monday. They told me to call back on Wednesday, letting them know if symptoms improved. When I listened to what they said and did call on Wednesday letting them know I was still congested they wanted to charge a $100 rebook fee because it was a reschedule within 24 hours (even though they told me to re-call on Wednesday). They also advised me I'd have to pay an additional $230 if I wanted to do a course at a later date because the initial booking was at the end of November and the rescheduled course would be December which apparently falls within their summer rates. Due to this inflexibility, I decided to just do the course despite my sinus congestion and be careful in the water. However, it didn't end here. My friend had a last minute university exam reschedule and so missed what is no longer than a 10 minute online scuba diving test on the night before the proper training and dives. They showed up the first day of proper training explaining the situation, ready to do the online test quickly (which they had studied the content for already in the mandated training modules) yet were not let to do anything. They had payed the full fee but were just blatantly refused even though it would have been as simple as the instructor saying yes, and letting them join (all their diving equipment was prepped and ready for them to participate - they could have so easily been accommodated). They were literally sent home, their money taken and no refund offered whatsoever, with only the option to rebook at a full fee with 0 concession. This was really disappointing - I would have thought most decent companies and people would show even the slightest amount of goodwill here and let them participate, or offer a better solution. I understand they are a business but they offered no help at all.

Provide Alexandria lives up to the name - they are absolute pros! Signing up to the open water course, I was extremely nervous having never been diving before. But our instructor Bruno went through every step clearly and methodically and was an extremely calming presence. By the end of the weekend course, I was confident in my skills and obsessed with my newfound hobby. Thanks to the team for such an informative and fun weekend!

Most incredible and rewarding experience! We're already talking about our next holiday where we can make use of our open diver certification. Ralf was our diving instructor and he was one of the best aspects of our whole experience. A calm and clear communicator with a great sense of humour - he put us all at ease and ensured we had a fun time. We were inspired hearing about his diving adventures. Over the course of the weekend we did four dives which were all at great locations here in Sydney, all very accessible. We loved every moment

I did my Open water certificate with Pro Dive this weekend and couldn’t be any happier. Hats off to our instructor Bruno and Ralf. I confess I was a bit afraid in the beginning but the lads are very professional and knowledgeable and made it look easy (and enjoyable by the 3 dive 😅) Definitely coming back to more dives!

I have just finished the scruba diving course this weekend. It is very intensive and challenging experience, while our instructor named Artur, helped us a lot, very patient, calm, intelligent, experienced instructor, and all other instructors also are very brilliant, we have learned a lot and the best experience ever. Strong recommendation. And thanks a lot for the help.

I had the best time of my life learning to scuba dive from Portugese Daniel at Prodive Alexandria. He was extremely funny, patient, informative and thorough in his teaching and made sure every one of his students were in capable hands. He transformed the most anxious, stressed individual like myself (I almost freaked out and had an anxiety attack after my first day of diving), into someone who now LOVES diving!!! Daniel deserves a big raise! Lol!! All the other instructors were also very friendly and lovely. I would totally visit again and pester them every day to help me become a better diver.

I did the weekend open water course with a couple of friends and we had a great time. It was all of our first times diving and we were lucky to have Bruno as our instructor. He made us feel super at ease, even during some situations that could have been a bit panicky. Bruno was so, so patient and an amazing teacher to learn from! We’re all excited for our next dive. Highly recommend!

This excellent course was an amazing experience. We learned everything (the necessary skills and experience) that we needed to know to get the Open Water Certificate, in just 2 days and one evening (and an extra day of mandatory self-study, which is nice, because you can learn the theory, context and completely new technical stuff at your own pace). Especially considering the price, this is rare. The teachers, Pedro and our instructor Ralf were also very clear, friendly, helpful, and have a good sense of humor. Good point to note is because of this all (a training in a pool, 4 dives in open water at great locations, and a few lectures) being given in 2 days, it may be quite an intense course. So it's important to be well rested before starting the course. Only point of improvement is that the mask workshop is more like a sales hour than an educational workshop, which I think could be condensed in one slide and a five minute talk, just so we wouldn't have to get up that early. But overall, that doesn't take away any quality from this awesome course.

Had a really great time doing the Open Water weekend course at Pro Dive Alexandria. It was a small group - just my partner and I, and two others, plus our instructor Bruno. Bruno was very clear and patient and all three instructors helped out thoughout the course. After diving at two quite different dive spots (Malabar and Gordon's Bay) I feel confident and excited to do more diving.

Did my open water with them in 2019. Now doing my deep water course. Daniel was brilliant on my open water and managed to facilitate extra demands for the theory part of my deep water. I came in today and decided to purchase gear and equipment from them. I believe I was helped by Laurence and it was a smooth a seemless experience with him. Couldn’t have helped me out enough and advised me on what to get and what I didn’t really need. Thank you so much prodive!!

One of the best experiences I am in Sydney these months 🐳💙🐙 I had done dives in other places before and taking the Open Water course with them has been great. From my experience I think it is interesting to have some previous little diving/snorkeling to know what to expect in the course. All the instructors are so nice and the environment they offer for this experience is ideal; especially thanks to Ralf🤙🏼 Great course & great value for money. I recommend it 100%!!

The boat dives on Sea Life V with Pro Dive are honestly the best! I recommend the whale & dolphin sightings on the way to dive sites, the professional crew that are so helpful on every dive, the yummy pies post-dive and the beautiful sites that give us incredible glimpses of Sydney's stunning marine life, which you simply must see yourself. Every dive is an adventure! All the instructors are wonderful, but especial kudos to Eric for making us feel welcome on the boat straight away - we have enjoyed your passion and diving experience immensely - your diving knowledge is impeccable. In general I would highly recommend all of Pro Dive's courses and training, as everyone on the team is extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in their fields - there is so much to learn from all the dive instructors. Thanks Pro Dive for an amazing 2023, introducing both my husband & I to the world of diving!!

Although I've tried almost every dive shop in Sydney, I use this one the most. Extremely helpful customer service for all of my purchases, including my latest one, Apeks regulator. And their boat dives are very reliable, the crew is great, and I'm glad they prioritize safety first.

ProDive Open Water Certificate The team at ProDive were all super professional and knowledgeable, but still peppered in lots of humour during their teachings. You can really tell that every single person that works there actually loves their job. I'd especially like to shout out our instructor Daniel, who managed all our newbie stresses really well, and did such a good job keeping us comfortable and relaxed at all times. Some of my own personal highlights during my first 4 dives: - 1,5 m Wobbegong shark chilling under a big rock - a tender hand/tentacle moment between an octopus and our instructor - a very curious Blue Grouper who followed us around, waiting for someone to grab him an urchin Overall, there really is no doubt in my mind that I'll be back to do more dives with ProDive!

Pedro and Drew were excellent instructors and taught us how to dive for the first time. Safety, proper technique and building good habits was a priority throughout the course. Alongside lots of fun & laughs. The open water training is great and I can highly recommend it. Thank you for an excellent weekend!

I did the Open Water dive course this weekend and had an absolute ball! I'd never scuba dived in my life and now I can't wait to get back out there. My instructor Kevin was so calming, knowledgeable and so much fun...we also got a free life guru for the weekend, so what more could you ask for! Day 1 in the water starts in the pool with the swim/treading water test and practicing the safety skills in shallow and deep water. Kevin took his time explaining everything in detail and moving through the skills at a good pace....no rush :-) In the afternoon we went to Malabar beach and my fear crept in but Kevin pulled me back to a zen-like state and I'm so happy I listened to him and pushed through. Day 2 in the water we went to Gordons Bay. We did 2 dives. First dive we finished the remaining safety skill tests. Again Kevin was just amazing at keeping us calm and relaxed and guiding us through the skills. I was so happy to get that final fist bump to confirm all was good and no more tests! We finished the day with a chill and relaxing open water dive before going back to Pro Dive for our certification and BBQ. Can't recommend these guys enough. Just a great team. Thank you so so so much Kevin, Daniel, Ralph & Pedro. You are all superstars!

My OW scuba diving instructor, Ralf, is an absolute gem! He's got this hilarious sense of humor that always keeps the class entertained. But what impresses me even more is his incredible patience. No matter how many times I struggled with a skill, he never lost his cool and helped me through it with a smile. Ralf is a great mix of funny and laid-back, making the whole diving experience a blast.

Pro Dive is a really good and professional company. Bru is the best scuba diving instructor whom I have ever met! He explained about how to control the buoyancy by using the lungs very well so that my skills improved a lot~ You will be lucky to have him as your instructor lol!
