Excellent everything ! The only thing better than the food is the atmosphere. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the food. Our waiter was Patrick and he left nothing to desire. He had/brought everything that went with the meal the first time and kept our glasses full . Service with a smile made our lunch even better. So be sure to stop in and ask for Patrick. The others are probably good to but why take a chance. Prices are reasonably. Amounts are really generous ( wear stretch pants ). Parking in the back. You can enter from the hiway or around the back of that Hotel next door. If you are handicap mobile, you are going to need help opening that big front door. There are 2 of them to enter the restaraunt . The only complaint I had was the bathrooms. They're beautiful and very up to date but needed attention badly.

Went here for mothers day, they had a limited menu and sadly the salad my mom wanted was not available but she found something suitable. The photo below is chicken tortellini. It tasted great

Zachary was our server and he was great and funny. I was surprised that the special Spaghetti and Meatballs was half an order for 10.99 yet on the menu a full order was 10.99 and came with a salad. My order was wrong but Zachary took care of it right away. My friend got the senior portion of Chicken Alfredo and still took some home. I love their House Dressing. Good people work here and definitely good food

Never had a bad experience here. Their food is always on point and they have a good variety of dishes. Large servings so bring your appetite.

Awesome experience at Prima! They accommodated our large party last night, with fast service and tentative waiters! Huge portions of delicious Italian food. We can’t wait to return!

Ate here for dinner on a Sunday evening. I enjoyed myself, and it was a good dining experience. The do have a decently large dining area with it about half full as it was a little closer to closing. +Wait staff was really friendly and attentive. They seem to have a group of younger, maybe high school or college age men working here at this time. +Food was good, fresh, and tasty +There were positive vibes with all of the other tables, as they seemed to be enjoying themselves -I'm not a huge fan of places where wait staff gather at the pay out area, which was also their entry area to seat guests as well. It's not that I mind them gathering together in a staging place as they wait to help patrons, but where everyone is coming in and out at the front counter I don't think it's the best way to do it. -Wasn't a huge fan of the bread, but not a deal breaker by any means.

Food is good and wait staff are always working so very hard/cooks as well. I would have given them 5 stars if they would have paid me like they where suppose to for the 4 years I was there.no time clock plus they where taking half the wait staffs tips.i would not recommend working for them bcuz they don't pay you the actual ours you work.rip off

Very nice place to find at the last minute oversized portions and good clean restaurant. Didn't have to wait very long and a little pricey but the food match the price. Definitely will come back here again if given the chance. This place fixed my hangry appetite.

We thought the food was pretty good. Kind of had to wait to be seated even though it wasn't really busy. But it's better than Olive Garden. I got the chicken Parmigiano, and my hubby got the pasta Primavera. One of my kids got a pizza, which was a lot bigger than a personal one, which was awesome! My other kids got spaghetti and meatballs and she loved it. We'll definitely be back.

Definitely our go to place for Italian food, despite living in Abilene! The road trip is always worth it! Patrick is probably the world's greatest server!

This place was excellent. The service was top-notch and the food was very delicious. The portions of food were large. We ordered a medium pizza and it was the size of a large pizza from other restaurants. I recommend stopping by if you are visiting the area.

First off the service was top-notch, very professional and polite. We ordered the pasta combo, chicken alfredo and medium pizza. Large portions of pasta and the medium pizza was the size of a large pizza from Pizza Hut. The food was amazing and I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

The food was delicious. The service was a young girl who was in the weeds. It wasn't her fault. Just inexperienced and had no help. Had an open environment that was okay. For Brownwood, your not going to find anything better.

The food wasn't very good. Everything tasted like it was just heated up from a can or jar. We ordered the spinach dip and it was just sauce on a plate. They didn't even serve it with chips or bread, although they did put bread on the table before we ordered the dip, glad we saved some to try the "dip". My husband ordered the Eddy Special and it was pasta with the exact same spinach "dip" sauce. My husband, daughter and I didn't finish our meals. My daughter had her go to... Chicken Alfredo and it was very bland. I had the pasta sampler, which was a lot different of store bought filled pasta piled on a plate with a lot of bland marinara and cheese. Hopefully they get better but at those prices it just wasn't worth it.

Best restaurant in Brownwood. This place will satisfy any appetite and I think the pasta combo is something everyone should try. It's my favorite!!! As always awesome staff and service and price is very fair , especially for the huge servings they give. Writing this made me hungry now gotta go to PRIMA and get my fix!!!!

Food is good. The redhead waiter was rude, short, and did not give good service. But seemed fine with the other tables but us. Extremely disappointed it's normally my favorite date spot until today.

If I could give zero stars then I would. I ordered a rare steak because it’s one of the only things that I could have. It came out charred and at least Medium. I asked for a remake because it was over cooked and burnt. One waitress said that it was remade and the waiter that handed me the food said that they threw it back on the grill. This steak came out smelling like straight gas and was cooked more than the first. I told them that I would prefer a salad instead because I did not want them wasting anymore meat. After thirty minutes, I found out that the waitress never put in for the salad. She then walked out and informed us that we were required to pay for the steak that they already took back to the kitchen. She said that we should have had to pay for both of the steaks but they are trying to be nice. They brought back the returned steak and it came back out with several additional cuts on the steak that was not on there when I sent it back. The woman manager came out and proceeded to treat me in an extremely rude manner. I told her the issues very kindly and she kept trying to force me out of my chair to follow her into the kitchen to see what happened and why I had to pay for the meat. I kept telling her to please leave me alone and she kept pursuing me. She tried to grab me to walk to the kitchen and I politely but firmly stood my ground. The whole situation was super uncomfortable and in the end I did not get to eat anything and I was charged for a $33 steak. Do NOT go here.

1st I'd like to thank our server Zach for his patience while he was helpful not only to our table but every table he was assigned. 2nd,the portion sizes were as advertised from others that prompted us to visit here. Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about the food outside of the garlic cheesy bread and the pasta sampler (someone else ate it). I took a bite of my daughter's grilled chicken alfredo and I see why the loved it. It tasted like what they make at home from a jar of Ragu Alfredo Sauce. The Eddy's Special is far from it and tasted as bland as the girls dish. For the $12 (grilled chicken alfredo) and the $18 (Not So Eddy's Special), I expected a better product than we were presented. I realize the cost of preparing meals has increased but that doesn't mean the quality of food (due to no seasoning prep) has to make the meal suffer. Plain grilled chicken with no type of seasoning whatsoever in addition to the sauces or vegetables or shrimp in my dish. I've worked off and on in the food industry for 15 years and I've never experienced the lack of pride the kitchen staff displayed on this visit. Most of the time I'm blown away with a meal that I'm able to recreate the dish at home from the explosion of flavors left in my mouth. As I stated earlier, it tasted like the meals my 9 and 13 year olds make as they're learning to cook. Actually I apologize to both my kids and Ragu for insulting them. I'm not going to lie about eating my entire dish, but I also forked out $20 and was not letting it go to waste or back in the kitchen. I Hope after this review that changes will be implemented for a better product or I may have to step in the kitchen to show them how it should be done as they watch the compliments flowing in about the upgrade in cooking ability. The portion sizes and our server Zach is merely the reason why you received a 4 instead of a well deserved 2!!

I liked it. Food was good at a fair price. My server was on point and his tip reflected it. Place was clean and the restroom was well stocked

Great place to eat and service is a return to eat for quality. Have been many times and ordered different foods every time and have yet to choose a bad item. All great to eat and a pallet pleaser each time . Pasta plates are huge and if you need a place that gives a to go plate lunch for the next day this is the place to go.

Eaten there numerous times over the years - never had a bad meal. Portions are super-adequate and usually are my lunch the next day. The best Italian food within 100 miles.
