We had the chicken and lamb kebabs, along with the feta cheese rolls. The food prepared was definitely frozen before and was not fresh. It was just reheated before serving. The rolls were the "best" part because there were literally 4 pieces garnished with some cold lettuce. We were very unhappy with the food although it was presented nicely (except the appetizer that was garnished with ice cold lettuce - Probably ICE BERG LETTUCE lol). The shocking thing was that the bottled water was $5. We were not even asked if we wanted that or regular water. We didn't feel good after eating and felt scammed for the price of the food. Ultimately, the food was too expensive for what was offered. We will definitely not be returning again.

The food is delicious!! Even the rice (in the assorted platter)tasted so good ! Portions are bigger than we expected.. the assorted platter is definitely good for two. Very nice staff.. the ambience good.

We got lahmacun, iskender, adana and pide. Iskender was the best, but the rest was also delicious. However, I didn’t like much rice pudding.

This BYOB features a DJ starting at 9:00 PM, on weekends. The ambiance is perfect for a dinner and some fun with friends . The meat quality is excellent, and the food is delicious. If you’re looking for a Mediterranean fare, I would recommend Sofra.

Im turkish myself this one of the best Turkish restaurant in new jersey and new york. Wonderful service and service is top notch, this a large place, good for parties and they have two separate private room beside the large dining room they have. There is also stage for the music.

Nice gem, in a small shopping mall, food is very tasty, I enjoyed their freshly home make made bread, which brought me back to childhood. Servers were very nice, kind and courteous, and the place was nice too. Parking available. Prices were pretty good. I say it’s a must try!!

Absolutely loved the experience! The ambiance was beautiful. The food was great and very filling. The waiters are very attentive. The owner was great, he turned into our own personal photographer lol. They have 2 private dining areas that are decorated so beautifully, then two larger open seating areas. They play very classy/ slow jazz tempo kind of music that relaxes you. It is BYOB but they do serve mocktails. Price wise it is not too bad, for 3 entrees and apps with drinks was about $150. They have Sofra tripe platters that can feed 4 as well. We will definitely be returning for both the food and hospitality!

Atmosphere was great. Food was served quickly and correctly. Staff was friendly. We got the sultan platter all chicken very delicious.

I still have a sick feeling in my stomach and felt scammed for the price of the food. (Too expensive for what was offered). We will not be returning.

The best Turkish food I’ve ever had! Bread- awesome, comes out hot Octopus salad - cooked the right way Hummus- excellent Lamb chops - perfect seasoning Atmosphere - beautiful Music- perfect volume

Exceptional experience at Sofra. The Turkish cuisine was divine, and our server, Deniz, went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. His attentive service and helpful recommendations truly enhanced our evening. We'll definitely be back for more delicious meals and excellent service!

The food & service are excellent each and every time . Hosted my parents anniversary last year here and this year my daughters after baptism lunch and the staff was excellent and so accommodating. Ferdous at the front desk is also a pleasure to work with. She’s very sweet and goes above and beyond. Metu was our head of servers that day and he was a pleasure to work with as well. As I mentioned everyone here is so sweet and strives to provide an excellent experience. We love coming here not just because of the food but because of the people . They’re always friendly.

First for the positive. We stopped by Sofra for dinner, The place has a warm and cozy atmosphere. We ordered babagannush, and grape leaf for appetizers. With appetizers they also serve 2 types of bread. For dinner we had the chicken kabab platter, meat pie n lamb gyro. The food was flavorful, each dish is served with rice and salad. The salad is delicious. Kebabs with rice with no sauces, can be a dry combination but the salad helps. Dessert was chocolate soufflé and baklava. The chocolate soufflé was yummy, the baklava too sweet (but that’s generally the case) Now the negative and for me a big one. When asked by the waiter if we wanted water, we said yes. He failed to tell us that we can choose between bottled and tap and that bottled is $5 a bottle, he chose to give us bottled water and opened a second bottle without us asking for it It’s only when the bill came that we realized that we were charged for 2 bottles of water. I’d would have preferred to be informed on the onset so I could decide. That was very sneaky and makes it difficult to trust them.

Authentic Mediterranean food. The ambience also resembled the region. Definitely try the salad platter, you get to taste all kinds of dips. My friends really enjoyed the meat platter. Finally, we ended with Tres Leches and Baklava's with Turkish coffee.

Orcan was excellent and he made sure that we all had an awesome time. He surprised us with unexpected dishes and the best part was the dessert platter for the birthday girl. Had an awesome experience and will come back again. We were a party of 24

Reserved a table for my family and I to have dinner here tonight. It was our first time here and have never tried Turkish food. The food was delicious! We ordered the mixed appetizers and the Socratic/sultan plates and it was great. The meats were well cooked and the drinks were great. We wanted recommendations of what is most popular however our server was rude and impatient…The way that he spoke to us made us uncomfortable and unhappy with the service. We also overheard him snap at another coworker next to our table which was very unprofessional.

The food was out of this world and the service was excellent. Orcin was our server and he could not have been better. He was patient and explained everything on the menu. I'm definitely coming back.

I was so impressed how beautifully decorated was this restaurant. The service was excellent. Everyone who works there was so professional and I really enjoyed the food. So delicious. My friend showed me this place and I definitely will come back.

Venue is spacious, has a party room and main dining. The food was presented nicely. I found the taste to be average. The salad that came with my lamb kabob had too much vinegar. I had better bread from other Greek restaurants. They only offered bottled water, $6 for sparkling water. The waiter do not tell you the cost and you don’t have options for tap water.

The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is stunning. Nobody left home hungry!! I will definitely be coming back!
