Let me start by saying this hotel is extremely dirty, dusty. The wall to wall carpet is dirty. The bathrooms in the lobby were horrible. My room was full of dust and old hotel cards. I had to turn off my air conditioner because of all the dust that was on my bed. This hotel sent my daughter to hospital with an asthma attack. The location is great right on the turnpike. That's all that is good to say. Even the fountain was dirty. Hopefully they fix this problem and clean the led lights in the entrance of the hotel. Dust coming out the vents.

It took over 4 hours on 2 separate days to get towels and sheets. The hotel has great views.... of the highway. Rooms were extremely dusty, the pool and exercise area are too small for the size of the property, and the food was overpriced for a basic continental breakfast. And the worst part? My whole family feels the same. We definitely won't be coming back here for our family reunion. The only nice part was the outdoor area in the front of the hotel. It's the only outdoor area for guests to hang out.

The people who work here are really nice and the location is amazing. Hilton corporate needs to upgrade this property immediately! I didn't want to leave such a low rating, but it's the truth and maybe this review will propel the corporate office to upgrade this location. I read the other reviews regarding dust, cleanliness, etc., and it's all true. I'm going to give them a chance to improve, but if it doesn't happen, I'll post the pictures that I took this weekend. I do not blame the hotel staff, the corporate office needs to update this property. The buttons on the elevator were so dirty, and the floors were not clean. I'm going to reach out to the corporate office and let them know that they need to do a better job with their properties.

I would suggest save your money and make a reservation at some other Hotel. My experience at this place was really bad! We made reservation at this place 5 rooms for 2 nights. When I made the reservation I was confirmed that breakfast was included in the reservation because we needed that for the whole family’s convenience. But when we checked in next morning asked where the breakfast was being served, I was told it is not included in my package and to check with reservations! I called reservation and was on phone with them for an hour( which is expected from customer service!) and was told they are unable to get in touch with anybody at the hotel so she will creat a case in conclusion no breakfast! I am writing this review while I am staying at the hotel. Let me tell you more about the room service, you call they and answer but they don’t follow back or get what you requested. This Hilton location does not even deserve 1 star! When you stay at a hotel good service is the definition of hospitality. They are just pure liars

Great stay, would stay again. Didn’t experience any of the negative others mentioned. The reception staff was always courteous, we were able to get the linens for the pull out bed within an hour. Given we checked in a little after 7 pm it was perfectly understandable to wait a bit for the linens. Yes you have to pay for parking which is not unheard of for hotels. Separate review being left for the restaurant.

Today is 12/19 for reference. They have an oversize area in the back that they don’t manage at all. They let employees park there and random people. There are signs everywhere that say oversize only but no one cares. This is an RV that’s been sitting here abandoned for weeks. It has a sign on it saying they’ll tow it 8 days ago. Still isn’t towed. Obvious security risk as well. Management doesn’t care. Otherwise the hotel is nice and the food is good. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s a convenient location.

We booked an executive suite for a two-night stay at a Hilton hotel, expecting a high-end luxury experience. However, the hotel did not meet our expectations at all. Although the lobby was updated, the rest of the building, including the elevator, appeared neglected and poorly serviced. Upon entering the ‘executive room,’ we were disappointed. The room’s walls were peeling, the carpet was torn, and the king-size bed sagged in the middle. The room, which included a sofa bed, lacked essential items like bedsheets and extra pillows. When we requested a blanket, the staff provided only a small throw blanket. We also found broken knobs on the cabinets. The indoor pool area was without towels, and the jacuzzi was non-functional during our entire stay, yet we were still charged an amenities fee. This was particularly frustrating. To make matters worse, after checking out, we discovered an unauthorized charge of $500 on our card. This charge was made without notification or an itemized explanation. Considering the hotel offered nothing more than a basic bed and shower, this fee was baffling and fraudulence. It seems that due to a lack of sufficient bookings, this hotel management might be resorting to charging unclear fees to those who do book a room. Staying at a simple ‘bed and breakfast’ motel would likely have provided a better experience than this underwhelming Hilton hotel in East Brunswick. The front desk staff was friendly, but the management at this specific location, led by Carmen Perez, requires serious reconsideration. Despite claiming 27 years of experience in hotel management, the competence of Ms. Perez and the overall management quality are questionable. This sentiment was echoed by some of her own staff, who expressed dissatisfaction with the management at this location. In summary, this stay was not worth the money, and spending it elsewhere would likely yield a much more satisfactory experience.

Stayed here over Labor Day Weekend and it was so nice. First of all, they have daily housekeeping! A lot of places don't have that anymore, this place does and that is so awesome. Much appreciated. Second, the beds are so comfy, the rooms are spacious, and all the staff are so friendly, especially the people who work breakfast in the restaurant. Speaking of breakfast, the waffle with fresh berries is absolutely delicious. Best waffle ever. Love it. Coffee and orange juice are standard coffee and orange juice, can't really complain. Lobby is gorgeous, I haven't had any issues with the elevators like some other people, they were quick and took me where I needed to go. Some don't go down to the pool, but I wasn't going to the pool anyway so I don't care. Only issue is that the spaces in the garage are a bit of a tight fit, especially if you have a large vehicle or are parking next to one, but there really isn't much that can be done about that. That's just how it's designated, alas. But be warned, and maybe don't drive your giant vehicle that nobody needs to own but instead a normal sized car. Which is sound advice anyway. All in all, extremely nice hotel, and for the price you will pay in dollars or Hilton Honors points, definitely worth it.

I just recently stayed at this property this past weekend and I'm still trying to figure out how this was rated as a 4 star hotel? They must have just just seen the front lobby or when you drive up that's the most extravagent thing I seen at this property. The rooms are OLD and OUTDATED I felt like I was at a Days Inn or maybe a notch above Motel 6. My room had a urine odor, damp towels and some kind of sticky substance on desk, headboard, and night table. The safe did not work after pressing the 4 digit code and lock. This property assume is popular for large group of kids (cheering events, etc) I saw lots of kids/teenagers. I could hear them right outside my door at 2 am. I had complained and no one seems to care. Hours earlier in another state I was at another Hilton property (Waldorf Astoria) and hands down was WAY better than this slum hotel. I have filed a complaint with Hilton Honors as a member and hopefully will get something resolved. Please do not go off pictures or rating.

We were extremely disappointed in our stay. We booked two rooms for our family for a funeral. We confirmed on the phone that the pool would be open and this is why we selected the hotel, we were told it would be open. Upon our arrival we were told it was closed. We had plans on swimming and relaxing before the funeral but that didn’t happen. The toilet in our room was leaking every time it was flushed. There was mold on the walls/ceiling in the bathroom. There was also hair on the ceiling. The air conditioner didn’t work so the room was extremely hot and musty. We went downstairs to get Starbucks and asked for a menu of what we could order but were told it was broken so there was no menu to view. The employee working there was also wearing AirPods while taking our orders which is extremely unprofessional. We have handicap parking and we’re told it was free to park for us and yet still got charged and had to go to get the charge fixed. There wasn’t even a normal sheet on our beds only a top blanket tucked in to look like a sheet! The list of issues with this hotel is absolutely insane. We expected a high quality hotel and definitely did not experience that. It only looks nice from the outside, I’m extremely upset. I was told for the miscommunication regarding the pool I would receive $50 refund. After all the issues this seems like absolutely nothing if I do ever get it. When already dealing with a funeral my family shouldn’t be in a musty moldy hotel room with paint coming off doors. I could of spent less money somewhere else and had a better stay.

Hilton hotel located in business district located off highway. Off street covered garage parking. No direct access to main lobby. Attractive foyer with a waterfall feature near staircase. Nice tall ceilings does not let appeal of lobby bore you. Plenty to see. Friendly Staff welcomes you and makes the check in process super convenient. There is a small shop adjacent to desk with some very limited supply of goods. The appeal of an elegant lobby ended when I walked into the outdated room. The toilet looks like it has some issues. The lamp shades are cracked. There are no USB outlets, so don’t forget your phone charger. Even the beds are outdated. Very soft box spring that looks like it’s on its last leg. Overall, Amenities are great here. Pool open 24 hours and so is the Fitness Center. This is a great place to host a convention. Hopefully rooms get an update by the time you get here.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff here is truly amazing,FANNY AND ALTHEA very friendly. And it feels like they truly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would strongly suggest staying here. They do have a startbucks that was a good things when I enter the lobby. we really enjoyed our stay here. And for those who stay here can explore they have pool open 6 am to 10 pm it a very good thing we can spend our time exploring places near by and also there is washing service aavailable they really did a great job explaining everything. Overall the stuff was very very sweet. Rooms were very clean and neat , scenery was spectacular though. Only issue is the parking in this area which I understand is out of the hotels control.

This is a large Hilton right off of the NJTPK at exit 9. The rooms are large but in desperate need of renovation. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room and the TV is mid-size and dated. The carpet looks like it's the original carpet. The area is an office park and seemed very safe at night. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to sleep on. The restaurant on-site had a good breakfast selection and the staff was very friendly and busy. Even though the hotel was not busy, the desk clerk was busy on her phone and was not very friendly and didn't even check to see if there was a Diamond Honor's room upgrade available even though the hotel was pretty empty. Make sure you keep your room key to get out of the parking garage when you check out or you won't be able to exit.

I recently stayed at the Hilton located in Tower Center Blvd, New Jersey, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. This was my second time staying with Hilton, and unfortunately, it was a stark contrast to my previous positive experience at a Hilton in Massachusetts. Upon checking in around 7:30-8 o'clock, I immediately noticed that the bathroom and bedside light in my room were not functioning. I promptly informed the front desk about these issues, expecting a swift resolution. However, it was evident that the room had not been properly inspected prior to my arrival, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, I had specifically booked a Deluxe King room with a sofa, as I was traveling with my family, including children. According to the booking, the room should have been equipped with the necessary linen for the sofa bed. Unfortunately, when I approached the front desk to request the linen, I was met with empty promises. The staff assured me that someone would be sent with the linen, but after waiting for hours and making several phone calls, no one showed up. It was 1 am in the morning, and my kids were getting increasingly fussy. The lack of response and failure to provide the basic amenities I had requested was highly disappointing. Furthermore, the older front desk employee I encountered while addressing my concerns about the missing linen was shockingly rude. Instead of offering assistance or attempting to find a solution, he dismissively stated that there was nothing he could do. Such unprofessional behavior only added to my frustration and left me feeling unheard and disrespected. To add to the frustration, the linen for the sofa bed was finally delivered around 1:30 am, after a significant delay. By this time, my family and I were exhausted and the entire situation had put a damper on our stay. Overall, my experience at this Hilton location was incredibly unsatisfactory. The issues with the room's lighting, the failure to provide the necessary linen for the sofa bed, the rude behavior of the front desk employee, and the significant delay in delivering the linen all combined to create a highly disappointing experience. I would strongly urge the hotel management to improve their attention to detail, responsiveness to guest concerns, ensure professional and courteous behavior from all staff members, and streamline their processes to prevent such inconveniences in the future. As a loyal Hilton customer, I had expected a level of service and quality that was sadly lacking during my stay. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that necessary measures will be implemented to prevent future guests from experiencing similar disappointments.

Checked in later in the evening and our room was dirty. The reception happily gave us a fresh room and helped us get a better view. Staff was awesome, but the facilities are clearly in need of love and care. Things are worn and don't represent this luxury brand in the best light.

This is a terrible hotel. They charge you a ton for the room, parking, and 25 dollars to check in before 4 (even if rooms are ready). The service is just straight up bad. Front desk was rude, slow, not professional, and lacked common sense. The rooms need updated and the shower barely worked and was a nightmare to use. The elevator was malfunctioning the entire time during my stay and their only bar needs more people working when they know a ton of people are staying. If you are staying in the area, avoid this hotel and stay at the Holiday Inn, as you will get much better service and a great room.

The hotel is old and needs a renovation. Was told this is the best option when visiting for work in New Brusnwick. Doesn't say much for the area. Wish I could say something good about the place, but this property does not meet the expectations I have for a Hilton property. Upon arrival, there was a spider and a ladybug in the bathroom. Don't let the photo fool you. This spider was the size of a quarter and had the ladybug in its sights. The lamp didn't work, and there were no bottles of water in the room. Since I did the digital key, it passed the front desk and didn't get the welcome water. Final straw was having to pay for parking. As a diamond member, I usually don't have to pay to park. Might need to drive somewhere down the road for my next visit.

This hotel is very disappointing and falls way below my expectations for a Hilton property. The rooms were very old, musky, and not well cleaned. Upon arrival I discovered there was no refrigerator in my room so I called the front desk. I was told that there are no refrigerators from the ninth floor down because this was a franchise property and they couldn’t afford to put them in…. So beware if you are traveling with breast milk or have a need for a refrigerator. My room was very musky, old and outdated. I had noisy neighbors that were partying all night. I had to call down to the front desk several times and they didn’t do anything about it until 1 AM. On my second night, I asked to switch rooms before bed Because of the noise from the night prior and since appeared that the same people were still in that room. They gave me a different room and when I asked about the noisy neighbors, they told me that security said they weren’t being noisy… which is absurd. I can deal with some noise at any hotel but they had a speaker blasting music and were screaming throughout the night… so just because they weren’t screaming when security walked by doesn’t make it ok to downplay my concerns. I wouldn’t stay here again… not a family friendly hotel. The only decent part of the property was the pool.

I’m trying to reach out to Mrs Perez like I was instructed by the front desk, the place looked beautiful but surely was not. Windows leaked, room had a foul odor, found dirty socks a head band and makeup along side the bed, I can see how great of a job housekeeping did, could write my name in dust on the furniture, no sheets on the bed, called the front desk asked for sheets some soaps and shampoo for them to never show when they said they were sending them up, no towels at the pool area, and the air/heat in the room did absolutely nothing, I’ve stayed in many hotels and in many Hilton’s never had a is a disappointed stay until now, it was my children’s first stay at a hotel and they surely weren’t thrilled, was planning on staying there Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but I don’t really think that’s much of an option now, even when I walked down stairs didn’t find anyone at the front desk. I understand things happen but this many on one stay is rather insane. Extremely disappointed with Hilton on this stay

Forced to stay here based on tournament my daughter’s hockey team was in, but overall a pretty good facility. Rooms were clean, staff mostly helpful & good restaurant. Lauren at Front Desk was SUPER helpful when one of our players forgot their equipment (twice!) and she helped me both times by accompanying me to the room to get the items. She saved the day twice, so very grateful she helped us out!

You’ll see a trend in these reviews that I can wholeheartedly confirm: lt’s time for a renovation! From the leaking windows, the peeling wallpaper, to the slow-draining tub or worn carpet throughout - this property has seen much better days. It’s almost a shame because the rooms are very spacious, the lobby area is still impressive, and the meeting rooms are functional with great catering options. Guests demand more from the Hilton banner…

last time coming here. Room was dirty, dusty and smelled like somebody was smoking. On top of that I had a baby, glad i was only there for 1 night. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning. Nothing was wiped down, sofa bed was dirty. Room was nice though, big but cleaning sucks. Lady at the buffet place made us feel like we were broke . She asked us if we were gonna pay for the buffet i said no the breakfast is included in my stay she said what room? let me check if you really paid. Front desk people to the hotel are nice and welcoming .

Front Desk staff... Spot on. Free breakfast benefit is a labor, the dining room isn't open but Starbucks is... She was slow and still setting up at 9am with a line of 4-5. I had a drink at the hotel bar after work, poor service, they were more focused on their union benefits. Rooms are good and room cleaning staff are great.

Where to start? The first room they assigned us hadn't been cleaned - the bed was unmade and there were dirty towels in the bathroom, so we had to go back to the front desk to be assigned another room. The second room had blood spatter on the walls in the bathroom and the phone didn't work, so when my husband tried to call down to the front desk about a wifi issue, he had to look up the phone number for the hotel on Google and call that way. There was no refrigerator in our room and the ice machine on our floor was broken, so I rode the elevator up to the next floor, only to be greeted by a sign that I had to go up another floor to get ice. If we hadn't been driving for 8 hours from Maine, we would have left immediately and found another hotel. I'm surprised this is rated a 4 star hotel. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel but thankfully the bed worked, at least.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very nice. No smoking rooms but not many places have them anymore....boo!! The only issue we had is that the bar closed at 1030pm. We were there for a conference, so we had a good amount of people that wanted to hang out and there was no place to really do that.

First when we enter the room I didn’t noticed the red flags until I open up the curtains. First the bathroom, bath tub was very uncomfortable was unable to stand properly inside mind you I have a 6 year old who fell several times, bath tub was very creamy and v yellow inside I had to clean it back my self. Bathroom wall seen to have mold on it. No tissue inside bathroom, very low toilet paper. When sitting on the toilet you can see all the back up nasty germs under the sink which made the sink had a nasty smell. Bed settings was very itchy. Night stand was so dusty. No microwave at all had to call to get one. Front desk everyone I spoke to had different things to say. Was charge an unnecessary amount when no one told me or even give me a heads up. First hotel don’t have free parking. Need better food at restaurants.

The hotel is a nice hotel. Rooms are a good size. Our room smelt musty and was rather humid, the shower did not drain, and our bathroom door did not close. Other than that, it was a roof over our head for the weekend. The pool was nice, however the jacuzzi was out of order. We were informed it would be in working condition next weekend. We were woken up at 8AM due to someone charging breakfast to our room and not signing the check, the restaurant quickly corrected this error as we did not partake in the breakfast activities. Staff was very pleasant and the location was clean and fairly priced.

This hotel is not accommodating for their paying guests. The room was not clean. The room had not been dusted. The bathroom shower would not drain and the pull up lever to start the shower was difficult to operate. The heating and A/C unit would not adjust to heat. It was October 29 when the three of us checked in. The weather in Newark was wet and cold. We needed to have the heat especially with the weather changing. Additionally, we arrived at the hotel dining area late we did not realize the time was past 9:30 pm. A young lady tried to help us but we could hear the older gentleman yelling that the restaurant we are closed. She apologized and was very gracious but no one needs that type of male employee who is devoid of customer service skills and lacks professionalism engaging their guest. I do not recommend this hotel. Additionally, there are no working usb ports in the room. I had to the office space on the first floor in order to charge my phone by usb. This is very inconvenient. Another inconvenient experience was having to have the key cards reset so that we could get into our room.

Rooms were typical, but I hate when they don't provide extra blankets or pillows in the closet in the room, especially when there is a sofa bed. Everyone we encountered at the desk was nice and professional. The restaurant on the other hand was TERRIBLE. We went for breakfast, and our waiter complained that we ordered off of the menu instead of the buffet. They were very pushy about the buffet, and none of us liked what we ordered. The coffee tasted burnt, the oatmeal was horrible, the muffins were worse. The hotel is fine, but don't go to the restaurant.

After a 22 hr flight and drive, drove up to the door to check in and was "greeted" by an employee yelling and screaming at me to move and that I could not park there. Upon getting to the room the temperature was in the 50s, it was freezing...had to reset the AC several times before I could get it to shut off...had to leave the door open to warm the room...no USB charging station in the room...with an almost full hotel only 1 of the 4 elevators were in service. The other 3 were turned off to conserve electricity...being on the 10th floor, often had to wait 15 min for an elevator to get in. Not enough parking in the lot, had to make a space. Not worth the price paid. Avoid this hotel.

We travel all over, all the time and this is a FIRST. We wanted to have some wine before dinner in our room and requested a wine opener and they won't give it to us. Front desk said to ask the restaurant and they refused. Well went to pool and No towels. Had to go to lobby to request pool towels. The service is terrible!!!!!! I own a business and would go above and beyond.

The hotel seems dated. Stayed one night with my wife and one child. The beds were small and uncomfortable, pillows were flat and the temp wouldn't cool enough for out liking. The TV was small and the remote hardly worked. We tried getting breakfast and paid over $80 for a buffet that was nothing more then a continental breakfast and it didn't even have waffles. Worst night spent at a Hilton Hotel for us and we only use the Hilton Brand.

The Room had a strong unpleasant smell, lighting was not sufficient to brighten the room at night, bathroom light fixtures were visibly rusted, shower head needs replacement, Fridge was stuck in a corner where it was not really usable, no microwave in the room, one of the ceiling corner had visibly black spots could be a mold issue, overall the room was not at all up to the Hilton standard with outdated furniture. Called the front desk for another room and was told that the Hotel was fully booked and that was the only room available. Extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience, would not stay at this place again, seriously.

I have a reservation for a Junior king suite when I arrived I was informed that they were oversold and I would not be getting the room that I set reservations for, I was then giving a lesser room then I had reservations for but I was still charged 14 days for her the king junior suite price. No microwave no refrigerator. Four days into my stay constant complaining the front end manager gave me Hilton points but I had to pay the regular rate of of a room that I was not staying in which I think it’s unfair. Completely unaware of the $15 credit per day for meals I was only told about the credit at check out. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. My company spent a lot of money with this hotel booking well over 60 rooms for 15 days definitely will not happen again.

Great service. My family and I needed a hotel last minute due to a family emergency. We came in from GA and needed to be close to South River. Hilton was able to give us 2 hotel rooms and accommodate us last minute. Location is great. & having Starbucks in the lobby is such a plus!!! Definitely staying there again when we visit again.

I checked out early and this hotel moved someone into my room and let them charge money to my card!!!! $60!!!! SIX DAYS after I checked out. So either someone is extremely incompetent or I’ve been robbed!! If I’m not responded to by the end of the day I’m going to have to cancel my card!!! Do not let them put you next to the elevator! It is extremely loud and obviously runs all day since this hotel is 14 floors! I’ve never had anyone rob money from my credit card before. Avoid this place. Also keep in mind parking is $14 a day.

I went here 7/18/23 - 7/20/23 and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the service provided this hotel, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. I came back to this hotel for a short trip to NYC thinking about how good the hotel must be (I came here for 4 days in July 2017). The hotel in 2017 was at its peak, but now it has drastically changed. The first thing I noticed was the smell. The lobby had a certain, musty sort of smell. The elevators take forever to go up or down. I walked into the room and I notice it was clean, but there was a lot of dust everywhere. Rooms were very spacious. The rooms were very dated too, especially the bathrooms. The location of the hotel is not good at all, it is a meeting center, but the location is so awkward it's on the crossroads of two highways and there is no shops nearby. The pro of the hotel was that there was a Starbucks inside the hotel. The restaurant inside the hotel is very overpriced and the food isn't worth the price tag. Also, the parking situation isn't very good either, the garage isn't close to the hotel in my opinion and it is very inconvenient. In general, this isn't a hotel worth staying at in general, it needs renovation and it is in the most inconvenient location possible. I highly recommend staying away from this hotel. There are better Hilton's/ Sheraton/ Marriots close by. Two stars because of the nice employees.

Pretty nice Hilton. Check in staff were all very nice and very helpful. We got a standard room with a king size bed. Room and bathroom were clean and bed was quite comfortable. There’s not much around this location, but it’s only a short drive to thing things to do. We stayed the night and visited the Stress Factory which was about a 15 minute Uber ride. Parking is not free, but not that expensive. They no longer have an executive lounge.

I stayed here for 2 nights this week and had a good experience. As a Hilton Diamond member I was upgraded in advance to a junior suite. The suite was very nice, comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself seemed nice. My only complaint was with the other guests. I am not sure what is going on but there seems to be a lot of long term guests staying this week. They would put trash cans in the hallway, make lots of noise and leave debris in the elevators over night. Very odd. While my room was nice, my coworkers said their rooms were not good.

Service was great all around. Rooms were slightly above average, could use new towels. They were rough...scratchy rough, normally nmfrom overuse/washing and drying. Location was good for what we were doing there but not much in the realm of walking. And a 30-40 min cab ride to airport.

Hotel is miles from any type of convenience. There is nowhere to purchase groceries, toiletries, or over the counter medication nearby. There is no refrigerator, microwave, or laundry facilities despite them being listed as amenities. Everything is dated and in disrepair. Don't let the fountains fool you.
