Called to schedule an appointment- scheduling never picked up after 35 minutes. I was able to schedule an appointment on line 7 days from now in an office far from my house b/c that’s the earliest appointment I could get. I stopped at Freehold URG, the front end staff were less then helpful and referred me to the scheduling number- who don’t pick up. This is a horrible way to conduct business and lends itself to poor patient outcomes.

The facility - it's wonderful, if you can get in to see them. For several days now, I've been on hold for one hour or more at a time trying to make an appointment. The system won't let me schedule online, so I have to call. Hold times of over an HOUR are unacceptable. Trying all day today. Tomorrow, I find a new provider.

They have no problem collecting your money and billing for the procedures, but the moment you ask them to fax your records when you have a time-sensitive condition (read: CANCER!) they give you the run-around for DAYS, and the receiving hospital keeps telling me they haven't received ANY records from University Radiology despite what the person on the phone claims. I've checked the hospital fax number and it's working, and I've checked if they have the correct fax number and they do. SO WHY ARE YOU HOLDING MY RECORDS HOSTAGE AND PREVENTING ME FROM ACCESSING TIMELY CARE???? It's one thing to be short staffed but it's entirely different to LIE to me when my hospital is doing its best to get me in for surgery!!! Infuriating!!

The staff is nice very nice . Appointments are easy to make . Unfortunately their turn around time for a simple chest X-ray is too long especially when your doctor is concerned you have pneumonia seems like they are short on radiologists . I won’t go back my Ct scans and Other things took a shorter time to read . It’s unfortunate because I like them

First, I realize that any TEMP can be dismissed for any reason no matter how minuscule. It's not about the job for some of these managers. You can be prettier, more confident, dress nicer, SMARTER, or just be intimidated by the one-and-a-half-legged AR manager and she will convince others that you are not a good fit. I say too bad. Second, when you arrive at the business office on Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, and get off the elevator on the third floor, and look to your left, all you see are plaques of white men that have run the company through ancient days. BAD SIGN. Third, when you do your job and do not involve yourself with bad behaviors with the one black AR manager then you become a threat. She is not a professional, she discusses her drama with selling or not being able to sell her house publicly, she is loud, belligerent, and clownish, and gets a lot of help with her tasks from Marie. It is black women like her that give the rest of us a bad name and makes it difficult for us to progress as a race. Don't care about this company so I have no advice for them. SMH

They were acceptable in quality and efficiency last year. This year, when I called to schedule imaging yesterday, not one of their various locations' phones was working; each gave a Verizon message saying the number could not be reached. I called today, waited for around 20 minutes on hold, then when the rep finally answered she said "hello" once and then hung up on me. Really? If their medical services are anything like their current administrative capabilities, maybe I should book elsewhere.

My health insurance company denied my Urologist's script for a CT Scan. This news was and is upsetting obviously. When you're sick and in pain the last thing you want to deal with is having to fight with your health insurance company. However, Nicole, the scheduling rep at University of Radiology, was extremely polite, friendly, and empathetic. She helped me explore the options of paying for the CT on my own and scheduled my appointment. She made my day and I'm grateful for her help and understanding. Thank You Nicole :)

I love everything about this location. Making an appointment is easy, check in is effortless, and every single person in this office is so kind and caring and understanding and each doctor I have ever seen is so thorough and makes you feel comfortable. I have been here for myself and also for my four month olds ultrasound. Each time has been very comforting, and they make sure you understand what's going on each step of the way.

Today was our second visit and the level of care, comfort, professionalism and overall concern for my husband was above anything we’ve experienced elsewhere. Marianne has a special way of calming her patients by explaining every detail ahead of time, checking in multiple times during the procedure and is confident in her field. At the front desk you have a group of courteous professionals that do whatever it takes to ensure your scheduling needs are met. Beth has a great smile and personality to match and her supervisor was equally as helpful! Thank you all again for another successful visit! Until 11/22 when we see you again! Kelli & David Hand

I am always so impressed by this facility. This visit, I was NOT. I wasn't taken until almost a half an hour after my scheduled appointment time, which has NEVER happened before. I was also very displeased with the technician. I'm a very open and honest person, and it takes alot to make me feel uncomfortable, but this woman was insistent in discussing breast reduction with me, and mentioned over and over how that my breasts were uneven in size. I am 60 years old. I have no interest in surgery at this point in my life, and YES, they are unequal. You need not say it over and over.

I recently went for a mammogram. The whole experience turned into a nightmare. The lady that gave the mammogram was a little rough, and I told her she said that you are just too sensitive which I am. A couple days later I get a notice that I need to come back, and I need to go for another mammogram with an ultrasound which I did that technician was excellent. Then I went to my doctor as soon as I left there. Picked up a prescription, and scheduling the biopsy ,was a horrible, horrible nightmare. Know one gets back to you. It took them a few days. I had to call the manager for someone to call me back. I understand that people are shorthanded but there’s no empathy, very disheartened with this place, and I do not think I will return. I went somewhere else and got it done with a biopsy within a week. Shame on you university radiology you treat your patience like we’re cattle. Disgusting.

We recently had to bring our 5 month old to have imaging done and were extremely nervous. The East Brunswick location was able to get us in the same week which we were incredibly grateful for. We loved the check in process from our phones and the ability to wait in the car with the baby and called when it was time to come in. Everything about it was so streamlined and we were seen very quickly. Once we were called in we were greeted by one of the sweetest nurses/tech and Dr Danielle M. Bentsen followed right after. Dr. Bentsen preformed a very thorough exam and was so great with our little girl. In the end she did reassure us that everything looked good and I couldn’t tell you how much we appreciated that with a late afternoon Friday appointment. She saved us a weekend of worrying. Overall, I could not recommend this facility any more highly from start to finish. I hope we don’t have a need to come back but if we do I know we will be in the best of hands.

If it wasn't for the technicians and nurses who performed my various ultrasounds, cat scans, MRI's, etc, I would rate this place a 1. If I was asked to rate the technicians who performed the services, I would give them a 5 plus! Sadly, trying to get an appointment, the on line process, the check in process, the sit in your car, the waiting room, its all antiquated! They make you feel horrible. Like we are doing them a service. All my anxiety left once I got past the front office and saw the technicians, all excellent people. I had 3 different ones in 3 visits. Each one professional, friendly, kind, informative and caring.

My grandmother had an appointment this evening for a mammogram, and was treated incredibly nasty by one of the front desk staff. There is zero reason an 80 year old woman should leave a doctors appointment crying because front desk PROFESSIONALS don’t know how to be kind to elderly people needing help with technology.

Incredible staff from the receptionist to the doctor that performed the ultrasound. I was carrying around my newborn in her carrier and of course a diaper bag, etc- the staff all helped me navigate around the facility and made it a much easier experience than it would have otherwise been for me.

University of Radiology East Brunswick is a professional welcoming Imaging site. I arrived early and checked in on my cell phone from my car. I immediately received a text of welcome and was asked to enter the building. The receptionist, Keisha greeted me and reviewed my photo id and insurance documents (which I had uploaded on line on the patient portal). I also gave her my Doctors' order and list of my vitamins and supplements requested. She handed back those papers to me inside to wait for the Mamographer. I was then greeted by Kim who proceeded to ask some questions and then explained and showed me how she wanted me positioned for the various images for the complete mamogram. She was very professional, patient, friendly and put me at ease throughout the procedure. Thank you University of Radiology of East Brunswick for a very pleasant experience.

Technicians are always nice but the receptionist I had today was one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. Never coming to this location again. Also the check in process takes forever.

This is my first time at the East Brunswick location, the intake process was quick and simple. The woman who did my test explained everything in detail to me and I felt safe and confident in her. All in all a great experience.

Horrible customer service! I made an appointment online and i went there for X-rays after a car accident. She refused to see me without an authorization from my auto insurance. She didn’t give me another options to have the X-ray done. She called my auto insurance claim department to speak with the claim adjuster but she thinks that the adjuster will be there on Saturday waiting for her to call all the time when a patient needs an authorization? That’s why they gave us a claim number. I have the claim number with me, I gave her all the information from the claim and the auto insurance, doctor prescription but I had to leave without my x-ray done.

Scheduling an appointment online was as easy as could be! I love that I was able to basically do everything online, from scheduling to uploading the order to the portal, and filling out questionnaires. When it was the day of my appointment I was able to stay in the car and the technician called me right in--no check in at the desk necessary! The technician herself was wonderful, she did my ultrasound quickly and gently. Just don't forget if you're a new patient to stop by the front desk while you're there to set up your portal!

I think highly of university radiology, but East Brunswick office leaves room to a lot of doubts. I took my little one to walk-in x-ray- suspect of arm fracture- on Thanksgiving Eve at 4pm, it took them 35 minutes to record the paperwork for a 10 minutes xray work. They pretend to be open late till 7pm but I didn't get the results by the end of the day. The front desk is rude blasting at me over phone how does she know I'm not a stranger asking x-rays results and I didn't give the radiologist time to interpret the results. Next time I'll tell my kid to break her arm earlier and preferably not before a holiday to not disturb the radiologist from leaving work early. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and go to Edison office, it's just 25 minutes drive and you will have the results in minutes not hours or days and very kind staff to deal with.

Had to wait in small room. Had to find nurse. I have clostrrphobia. After 1 hr left. A patients time is just as important as a physician it was just to go over procedure. I realize it can be longer. But someone should patient

OMG...The billing dept is the worst... I had an employee here tell me that Community Medical Center in TR is not part of the RWJBarnabas Network. Maybe they should pick up a brochure. ETA...I called back to speak to a supervisor. They would not put my call through without providing an account number. Then mysteriously, the supervisor was not at his desk.
